XPOL IS HERE AGAIN.

IN the olden days while growing up you hardly see soldiers in the street except there's a very serious problem even in times of Riot only mopol(Kill and go) and regular police would be deployed, now everything has fallen apart soldiers are even competing with police in mounting road blocks and parading in every street. I heard from them that Python used to dance even my grandpa who's a great hunter had never seen where a python danced before he died. How many of you reading this will not run to exile when you see a python dancing and you're blaming and calling someone a coward when he ran to Israel at the sight of pythons dancing in front of his house. The major problem with our security personnel is illiteracy. I remember when I was stopped at a military check point then and I introduced myself to the soldier that I was a police officer he asked for my ID I told him I wasn't with it and he said how would he know I wasn't lying I said " oh officer that's impersonation if I'm lying " Na so oga quickly change am for me oh. I for chop koboko that day if I no quickly explain the meaning of impersonation to him. The Boko boys that need python dance more are being given amnesty. OH! I see.. pythons are afraid of Boko bombs and machine guns. LORD have mercy on Nigeria and Nigerians.

I'm a Christian but I think it's unfair for one man to build a church and acquire enormous amount of money properties at the expense of the gullible members(masses) and even go ahead to build schools that the members can't even afford to send their children. The money these churches are getting from Tithe,Gifts and offerings is more than enough to make these schools free or charging an amount that average Nigerian Parents can afford.

Proudly Ghana...... 100 percent
So you don't know the difference between illiterate and literate. See illiterate that is trying to call someone (that's achieved heights he's dreaming of) an illiterate.Nigerians and many african countries place premium hype on college degrees than Skills that's why we see lot of graduates that can't speak correct English and they want to speak the English by force just to show they are graduates. later you see them crying unemployment when First Class graduates are yet to get even 40k salary job

must you have friends and mingle with people? I have a normal stature, height and body is normal but I don't make friends, I'm mostly on my own and relate with my family members cos I do regret each time I make friend. so stay in your lane if you can't take insult from your younger ones or learn how to cope with those who appear physically as your mates. What you need is a matured Sense not weed or beard cos that's what will make you mingle and blend with friends who are bigger than you. shalom

PoliticsRe: Africans Do NOT Hate Nigerians. This Is Just About Ghana And South Africa. by Xpol: 5:21am On Aug 19, 2020
Artiiclebeast:
My dear brother, let's hope you'll understand my p.o.v.

You see how the narrative is about everyone being against or targeting Nigerians because it is Nigeria Vs. either Ghana or South Africa.

Now, what say you about the daily attacks and suspicions between the same Nigerians here on a daily with the Afonja, Southwest, Ipob, Nyamuri et al diatribes which are a daily stable here.

Think about it and you just might get my drift.

If we can't tolerate ourselves with our peculiar diversities what gives us the moral compass or right to demand tolerance and respect from our hosts in their own countries?
It's a known fact that Nigerians are more dangerous than other nationalities, we don't love ourselves, we envy ourselves, we see nothing wrong in our internal tribalism, we don't trust ourselves, If a Yoruba man reads an headline in the news that a Nigerian robbed a bank before he clicks to read it in his mind he will be like oh lord let it be an igbo man oh, same thing happens to an Hausa or Igbo man but when other nations treat us same way we'll be shouting. But what I'm saying in particular is that what you see in Ghana and South Africa is not because of crimes it's majorly because of envy and they can't compete with Nigerians so they see them as a threat. Everyday there's robberies in Ghana or South Africa but once it's there nationals nothing wrong but if a Nigerian is among a 10 members robbery gang then problems have started. Nigerians also need to change their ways and be good Ambassadors abroad.
PoliticsRe: Africans Do NOT Hate Nigerians. This Is Just About Ghana And South Africa. by Xpol: 11:22pm On Aug 18, 2020
saying all these are happening because Nigerians are this and that are just unnecessary excuses. You're doing your legit business and progressing and they'll say you people are coming here to take all opportunities meant for us, you date their girl they will say you people are taking our women. A Nigerian will buy something #5 and sell it #6 but they will buy theirs same price and be calling it #30 by the time the Nigerian sell 1000pieces of his they'll still be struggling to sell 2pieces. At the end of the day they'll still be blaming the Nigerian for their woes. Don't let anyone deceive you that all these hatred are happening because of crimes but Envy and inability to compete with Nigerians. Speaking from personal experience.
PoliticsRe: INEC Reacts To Tribunal Ruling On Diri's Sack, says ANDP Candidate Was Ineligible by Xpol: 1:06pm On Aug 18, 2020
seunlayi:

Listen, 3 Judges ruled. The Chief judge disagreed with the petition and submission of the other 2 judges. ANDP is going to fall at the high and supreme Court. I am not apc or pdp neither related to the parties, this is just a simple case

This is from the tribunal head

Justices Owei Woniwei and Yunusa Musa, in their majority judgement, agreed that INEC illegally excluded ANDP and its governorship candidate, King George, from the election.

However, disagreeing with the verdict, the tribunal Chairman, Justice Sirajo, said there was evidence that ANDP was disqualified from the election for fielding an ineligible candidate.

He noted that the party nominated an underaged deputy governorship candidate, who admitted that he was 34 years old, instead of the 35 years age bracket the Constitution stipulated.

Justice Sirajo said there was evidence that the party failed to substitute the candidate till the statutory window for such substitution elapsed.

He noted that Exhibit P8 before the tribunal was a letter that INEC wrote to the party on September 21, 2019, wherein it notified ANDP that the period for substitution of candidates had expired.

According to the Justice Sirajo, what the petitioners brought before the tribunal was a pre-election case since INEC’s decision that disqualified its candidates occurred before the actual election held on November 16, 2019.

He held that under section 285(9) of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, the party, ought to have within 14 days after it got the notification from INEC, gone to a Federal High Court to challenge it.

The tribunal chairman held that failure of the party to do so made its petition against governor Diri’s election, statute-barred.

Besides, Justice Sirajo held that section 138(1) (d) of the Electoral Act provided grounds upon which an election could be challenged at the tribunal, vis-a-vis section 285(14) of the Constitution which defined disqualification of the candidate by INEC as a pre-election matter.

He held that since the Constitution is superior to the Electoral Act, it takes preeminence.

He held that the disqualification of ANDP by INEC was not unconstitutional because it nominated an underaged candidate.

The Judge stressed that since the disqualified candidate did not meet the constitutional requirement, he was therefore not a valid candidate that could claim right of exclusion.

He held that a political party must have a valid nomination before the issue of exclusion could arise.

Consequently, Justice Sirajo dismissed the petition as lacking in merit, even as he upheld the election of governor Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Though the judgement may not stand but being the chairman of the tribunal doesn't matter what matters is the decision of Simple majority

ORIENTATION101:
so if there is no substitution of candidate for fresh Election . tell me how inec will add andp to fresh Election that the court orderd?
this really make sense isn't possible another election holds without ANDP and once it can replace the deputy with a qualified person it also means APC can also replace it's deputy. Only thing that can prevent these from happening is if Supreme Court upturn the judgement. The court ordered a fresh election meaning the last election is null and void. Marital rape is a fact and yes it is actually a crime.

We know you never saw the four walls of any reputable institution of higher learning ....Pele.
so what section of the criminal code you'll use to back your claim up in the court, how can you prove and win a case in the court of law when an offence has not been committed or you'll quote it from your high institution handout? what you don't know is an action may constitute an offense in the UK but in Nigeria it won't be an offense I'm not a graduate as you've said but I'm learned in this aspect of law we're talking about, until any future amendment a man can't sue a woman for rape and a wife can't sue her husband for rape and win unless the judge is just moved by emotion case closed

Yes Muna,
She can.
It is called Marital Rape!

Marital rape is also known as spousal rape,
It is a non-consensual sex in which the perpetrator is the victim's spouse.
It is a form of partner rape, of domestic violence, and of sexual abuse.

There you have it above ma.

Lawyers in the house can shed more light on this from Nigeria law perspective.
Thanks.

Yes..it is possible to sue but difficult to prove since they are married...Unless there is A camera or A recorder of the wife saying "No" when she is being raped..
even with camera in the current Nigerian law unless amended in the future husband is not criminally responsible for raping his wife. there's nothing like husband rapes his wife. He can only be charged for assault in case of domestic violence. I don't know where that barbecue man dey get him marital/spousal rape from he dey talk like say he knows pass everyone he should get a copy of criminal code and learn

In Need Of A Serious And Sincere Advice

Hi Nairanlanders,

I would have loved pour out all I'm going through but posting about personal issues can be really boring to some people and also, some might think this is some sort of competition cos of the rate at which people speak about their ordeals lately. I have done something really terrible which I personally go crazy anytime I think of it to my mom. All I feel right now is depression, anxiety, unhappiness and frustration that I'm afraid I may do something crazy. However, I'm in need of a serious advice and counselling from concerned people. I'm willing to let everything out... I NEED HELP, I'M SO GOING NUTS!!!

MODIFIED: Since many are of the opinion that I type it here, I'm going to do it..

December 2018, a boy in my neighborhood who is also like a relative started making some savings with me, unfortunately that was the time I started betting as well. I used to be very trustworthy when it comes to managing people's money that's why he entrusted his money in my care.

Betting later got the best of me, I used part of the money to bet, that was how this ordeal started. In the quest of refunding the money I used on betting, I kept losing the more. I lost up to 90k before coming up with a lie of how the money was stolen in my forex trading account but I promised to refund the money.

While trying to refund the money I kept losing the little I had with me till I got hold of my mom's bank account, this started around October last year. I kept using my mom's money and the loss kept accumulating. I was able to recover the loss on my mom's bank account before 2019 ended. Now to 2020, the boy kept asking for his money, I had to return to using my mom's money again as I had no other hope of getting the money.. how I wish I had told my mom about the whole thing when it was still amendable. Fast forward to today, I have used virtually all my mom's bank savings from betting to forex trading without her knowledge.

When she noticed about the error in her account, I had to lie I helped her fix her account as she doesn't make withdrawals from her account  cos she's a trader who doesn't use her bank savings for her business.. I'm finished now, I lied to her the duration of the fix is 4 months and she's expecting the money with return by August ending.

Together with the money I owe the other boy, I'm in over 600k debt... I seriously don't know how I got here, I wish I can turn back time, I feel drained... I don't know what to do with my life, I feel like I have failed the woman who has always shown me nothing but love and care. I failed her, I failed the woman who has always trusted me to be a good son.  I even had to lie to her! Each time I think of telling her about everything, I get sick. I can't keep on going this way.. I just want this to end. I'm really SAD
It has happened it has happened my younger brother once did the same thing though the money was not upto yours but he told my mum everything everyone of us talked to him anyhow we like and the matter died but he never go back to the act again he's still the trusted guy we used to know till today I'm not afraid to keep millions with it till now. The more you try to recover the money without telling her the deeper you enter fire. Don't harm yourself it's not over you can still make her proud tomorrow if you turn a new leaf and never try to get rich quick.STOP IMAGINARY MILLIONAIRE PLAN.

I've been seeing this for sometimes and even read an interview from the owner of slot that he owns these phones but when you check online Transsion is the parent company of Tecno, Infinix and Itel and it's described as a Chinese company with no any link to any Nigerian.
If you know more about this you can enlighten me and others who are interested cos the last time I argued about it in one of these Africans countries people just laughed at me and I didn't have any proof to back it up then I got to know about Transsion which is the company responsible for the production.
Please this post is just for clarification and not meant for attacking any tribe so it shouldn't be turned into a tribal war. thanks.
