First, and contrary to your assertion... the first report of the message of the Gospel of the Lord YESHUA, the CHRIST in Africa was through the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts chapter 8... many centuries before the arrival of Europeans on the continent in the 1400s and beyond. Second, the message of the Gospel is soul-saving and good... but evidently a number of foreigners who brought it were flawed, exhibiting and adding cruelty to the message under the mantra of introducing the threes Cs (Commerce, Civilization and Christianity). I would just remind you that there isn't a single work that we as human beings do or can do that contributes to our salvation... it is by GOD's election and grace alone (John 1:12-13). The good works GOD does in us after He saves us. Picture all of humanity, dead in trespasses and sins, in a pit since the fall of mankind. GOD must reach into said pit and breathe life via HIs Holy Word in those whom He will... then we respond to GOD.
