Why are we our own enemies? How can somebody flash a hand written passport with address written on it and we still argue if he is a Nigeria or not. All of your arguing, don't you have passport? Is your address written on your passport? was it hand written. May looking at the last stamp you will notice that the passport number there is more than 7 numbers and Nigerian passport number starts with an alphabet.

It is really encouraging that a vital atery that links the SS, SE and Middle Belt has been given proper attention after so many years of neglect.

I travelled on Benin- Ore road this past week and I was beyond impressed. The reconstruction of the road is virtually complete (just a few kilometres left) and majority of the bad spots are gone. The whole road is been totally resurfaced and the work is so well done.  I was beyond impressed at the work been done there!!
It took me about 3 hrs exact from Benin to Lagos. That is a journey that 6 months ago would have taken you at least 10 hrs on a good day and maybe 2 days on a very bad day!!

I have to give Jonathan credit for ensuring that this road that used to be a death trap is finally being fixed. Interestingly, Work on the Warri Port Harcourt road has accelerated and the quality is also very impressive. These two projects have shown that this country is moving forward under Joanthan's government.

If you have traveled this road recently, please tell us your experience!! Thanks

It is funny how you think the revolution in Egypt is a success. I bet you think it is right that Gadaffi loses out again to the west. You surely have no idea of politics. Why do you think there is unrest in the arab world? Why did you think Mrs Clinton and David Cameron went to Egypt after the President stepped down ?
Oh well I will give you something to think about. 2 Naira was 1 Pound before the Nigerian-Biafran War, in USA and England and the rest of the West supported the Nigerian government and made a deal with them. Therefore no matter who you vote for even if you become the president yourself, you will listen to the west and share the natural resource. The problem is not our government, it is deal they have made !. When Abacha will not follow the deal he was termed a terrorist, now it is Gadaffi who will not sell his oil the way they want it . If anyone was so bothered about human rights why was there no help in Rwanda? or more recently Zimbabwe ? NO CRUDE OIL or great natural resource. I know a lot of you will believe so much in the west and how great they are but I can say for the UK the only thing they have is human management and that goes back to the days of the slave trade. Check this exchange rate  Lib1.00 LYD = 0.501661 GBP so you can see how strong the Libyan Dinar is.  I do not care how long Gaddaffi has been in power, the same circle of people rule in the UK too just like in Nigeria. SO stop being brain washed thinking they are all that. They rip the world to sustain their country.

The French want Quattara in power at all costs obviously to protect their economic interest and that the reason they decided to bomb the presidential palace to assist the rebels to finish the job. as far as i'm concerned the election was not conclusive and I still don't know who gave the UN the mandate to declare a winner in an election that was conducted within that country. Quattara is not a saint, he has so much blood in his hands and will definitely work continuosly to the advantage of his masters (France). Time will tell

Most of the posts here shows that many have not taken their time to read about Ivorian crisis before making a comment, someone said he should be tried for war crimes, what about Quatarra?
what about over 900 people massacred by his troops in just few days ago?
did Quatarra really win the election?
are there  concrete proofs that the election were not rigged in the rebel controlled north as alleged by Gbagbo?
why can't the UN take time to investigate all these allegations in the first place?
what is an elected man doing with the rebels?
why was he supported by the rebels? or has he been part of the rebels for so long?
Why did the UN placed an arm embargo on Gbagbo but allowed the rebels to operate?
Why was an election conducted in the first place without first ensuring a disarment of the rebels which was fighting against an elected government?

There are more to this than just a sit tight dictator fighting at all cost to rule forever, there is no doubt that many Ivorians too are sceptical about Quatarra and what he and his rebel army stands for.
Anyone who fails to see this situation beyond just a Gbagbo/Quatarra issue is shallow minded and must have been brainwashed by the imperialists media.

In fairness, I want to commend JEGA as the most sincere of all the INEC Chairmen we've got since 1999.

Iwu was in this same strait in 2007, but decieved Nigerians to cover up lapses. Poll Result sheets were not available,
So, PDP CANDIDATES offers their exercise book pages for recording elections that are supposed to be a national document.
When, you got to tribunal, you saw how people who new nothing about a polling centre signs for what they know not.
The reason is simple, when those document came. Inec could not go to ward level to sign with party agents or relevant rep.
So, they give it to just someone to sign fictitious records and figures.

I do respect JEGA before, but his decision to postpone Saturday election makes me respect him more.
JEGA is going to write his name on gold. But Nigerians are too judgemental.
let us be patient. We should be more interested in credible election than just insisting on continuity when there's clear indication of an imminent fraud.

I wish JEGA the best of luck on his side.
