hopefulLandlord: I might be in the minority here but I'm more of an OG phone user in that I use my phone till either of two things start happening
1. it develops so much fault its better to just get another
2. it becomes totally unusable
The last phone I used was Infinix note 2 which I bought late 2015. I used it till late 2019 when I bought this Redmi note 7 128g due to a panel problem with the Infinix note 2. to put this into perspective, by the time I stopped using the note 2 Infinix had released note 6! I don't plan to change the phone till one of the two happens. So even if I hear reviews of how great those 8 and 9 are it doesn't move me at all as my phone has everything I need. u shld have married my wife. I just collected her Infinix hot 3 last February and replaced with Redmi 8. she was telling me "it's still doing social media, making and receiving calls, sending and receiving sms so what else?" after all there's laptop to do other serious work... I love that her life sha |

Vibesking: I've been using my RN7 for almost a year now without any screen protector and I've not had a single scratch on the screen!
However, as a new user back then, I was very cautious of my device. I didn't wanna take chances even though the manufacturer explicitly stated the phone came with a Gorilla Glass 5 (the best back then as far as durability is concerned).
So I opted to get a screen protector during the first month I bought the device. I ordered from AliExpress and the tempered glass arrived in a few weeks.
I was glad. At least my device would have extra protection. But unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived.
As I was about putting the tempered glass on, it broke! I dunno how it happened but it broke even before I had the opportunity to have it settled on my phone screen.
Apparently, the tempered glass I was hoping would protect my phone was even more fragile than Cabin biscuit.
I thought about getting another tempered glass. But once bitten, twice shy. So I said screw it! Ama use my device with no screen guard whatsoever.
It's been almost 12 months and I and my phone have lived happily ever after since then.
The weird stuff is, my phone still looks like it was bought yesterday! I would love to applaud my cautiousness, but I don't think I'm really that careful.
I sleep on it mistakenly [sometimes]. My female friends take it away for hours for photos and movies. It has fallen from a transit. It has dropped from my hands [countlessly]. It's been mistakenly thrown to a wall.
Behold, my RN7 liveth on. NO SCRATCH on the screen! Probably I'm just lucky.
However, here's my final verdict: If your screen takes a hit than it can bear, it will crack! Tempered glass or no tempered glass.
The Gorilla Glass 5 is solid. It can withstand a considerably strong hit and even repel scratches (I can attest to this). As for tempered glass, in whatever variation they come, they offer no real protection for your device. You're better off using your device without one. I have used 5 screen protectors on my RN7 and it's just 10 months old. I'm not buying again |

Not to discredit this person 100% and i might be wrong but, make contact with this person wisely.
A professional would have a certain command of written English language and this “marital psychologist” leaves a lot to be desired from their write up and conclusions.
Usually, they are called marriage psychologist or family psychologist or counsellors.
Stay safe online. thanks Boss. I understand very well |

hajimutex1: Thank you madam for taking your time to put all this up for people to learn from well done job *as a marital psychologist* several things is happening in various home, some house is either husband is smoking, womanizer, gambling etc I think your husband has only two variable base on what you put down is* BROKE* at the same time is *INGRATE*person the two are also a problem. In counseling we give information is left for the client to choose the one that is most appropriate he or she let diagnose the two problem now the fact that is broke is not is fault I think is general socio economic situation of the land try more to be his friend guide him the way he spent the little that come to his way and help him to reduce any form of irrelevant spending like house rent types of vehicle he use, tuitions fees etc let him know you want best for his family and you are not in her life for a problem seeker you're their for problem solve. There are other question that I may like to ask if it was normal counseling session but this can not be %100 counseling ethics on the issue of ingrate when ever you feel he you does something I he did not appriciaite you try to call him to order by doing first step you will know at time goes on this we change drastically for more enquiry called on 08021067187 God bless u for the little effort. will save Ur contact because i will need u to guide me through this professional stuff |

They know the financial difficulties they are facing sorry to say isn't the man responsible for the babies? after the reading the entire text, the only thing that kept ringing in my mind is "poverty is a bastard" even all the spirikoko wasn't real. Na poverty induced spirituality |
Family › Re: My Fellow Married Women And Mothers, How Do You Deal With A Husband Like Mine? by yak(m): 1:15am On May 12, 2020 |
bukatyne: I see two issues:
1. You both are earning below the standard of living you have set for yourselves. In what ways is your husband trying to increase his earnings?
2. Do you have a written budget where you can track income with expenditure so you see where you can cut expenses (I know what you have is not enough however, that will reduce the mental stress on you).
3. You have the classic egoistic Nigerian husband. How do you navigate them? By apologizing when issues crop up whether you are wrong or not. Yorubas call that apology 'gba je n simi' or 'sorry, let me rest.' So issues come up, it is quickly 'sweetheart, sorry, I did not mean it like that.', 'sorry, no vex' etc.
4. His spiritual life: what happened to the man that wanted to be a pastor? Just how you leaned on him for spiritual growth, you might need to return the favour now.
And good that you have to wisdom to avoid his blows since you are still willing to stay. that number 4 is where u shook everything. madam needs God now more than ever |

repairpalng: 2 people doesn't equate to all of them. in a forum like this, u shld try and limit complaints from ppl. instead of arguing or trying to prove a point, u cld have called up the lady on phone or somewhere and assure her the problem wld b sorted. now, we have 2or more persons coming up with complaints too. one bad thing abt these reviews is that internet never forgets. tomorrow, someone that's not on nairaland may google Ur name and these reviews will appear and for ppl like me, if Ur rating is less than 4.5/5 I won't settle for Ur service. I don't know you but I remember this kind of complaint had earlier rising around March/April last yr. it doesn't speak well of u, Ur personality and Ur services |
