When next they invite you, just ignore them and move ON. It is not a must to acknowledge their request. I have a lot of friends that applied, some of them have not been invited for any interview or career fair. Even those interviewed have not gotten any mail either success or failure. If you attack me or their staff or IHS here, it won't solve anything. Before I got this my present job, I applied and I was travelling to so many places (like lagos, ibadan, akure, abuja, kaduna, ilorin etc), facing a lot of discouragement. Some will tel me come 2moro, com next wk and @ the end, notin will com out of it. I did not because of that, go online and start criticising them. I bliv it is not yet my dream job. If God has destined you for a job, you will get it, no matter the challenges. Life is all about challenges. When you knew this job is all about what you said, why don't you divert your attention to another plc. Who told you na me get IHS or I b dere staff? Abeg, free me from all these trash. |
Why are you involving me in all these? Did I invited you for any interview? Or is it because I posted this job advert? If IHS has done something bad, why don't you send them a mail or go to their office. |
@KMyd Always verify your FACT before you post unnecessarily. Who told you that HTN staff were sacked? You seems not have the slightest idea about the recent acquisition of the company. You can go to their office @ Ikoyi and ask them. You also don't know the reason behind these massive recruitment drive. Why didn't you ask when you were interviewed, to find out reason behind these recruitment. Next time you have opportunity for next phase of interview, ask them about the slow pace of this process, rather that sitting somewhere, formulate wrong hypotheses and put forward wrong theories Let me make this clear. I am not a staff of IHS. I only make available info frm reliable source wich is for public consumption. I will advice you walk upto the company and find out reason behind all these. I will stop here for now. |
jubril247:I am not permitted to do so. Sorry about that. What I can say is that, pple shld exercise ENOUGH patience. |
Anybody that want to join IHS will need to have enough endurance till when the whole thing will be over. |
damzy88:Sorry, I can't share that. Just tell them what you worth when the time comes. |
Mailthaddeus:Hmmmm! You mean the pay. My brother, you will enjoy it. I bet it with you. Wishing all of you the best |
braithwaite:There are two test centres. One in Abuja while the other in Lagos. IHS have offices in Abuja, Ikoyi and Idejo. Which of your colleague are you talking about? Pls, don't come here to discourage pple. Come out with facts to prove that this advert is fake. |
azz19:Since it closes 11.59pm today, u may stil get an acknowledgment mail if qualified. For those who have been invited, I wish you all best of luck. Hoping to hear good news in future. |
reyin:Bro, the one on the career group is not as massive as this one. The career group vacancy is for highly experience pple like 8yrs experience. Workforce group is assisting IHS on the link posted by me because they plan to employ between 600-700 due to the plan regionalisation of the company. IHS plans to build new 5000 towers and upgrade 7000 towers, that necessitates the needs for additional hands. I wish those who have applied best of luck in their forth coming aptitude test. |
Less than 30hours to go.
Over 600 people will be recruited.

ABUJA - The Presidency, Wednesday, announced a
take off in the recruitment of 500,000 unemployed
graduates who would benefit from the N500 billion
social investment Programme of the All
Progressives Congress, APC, led federal
government.
A statement from the Office of the Vice President
by his media aide, Mr. Laolu Akande said that the
Buhari presidency will start taking applications via
online for positions in the 500,000 direct teacher
jobs scheme, through an internet portal named
npower.gov.ng.
It stated that applications were expected to start
coming in on June 12, as the portal would formally
be launched on Saturday, June 11.
The statement therefore asked young unemployed
Nigerians to visit the website and apply.
The statement further read thus: "It would be
recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari in his
May 29th Democracy Day broadcast to the nation
formally launched the unprecedented social
investment programmes already provided for
under the 2016 Appropriation by the
administration.
"The 500,000 Teacher Corps, nicknamed N-Power
Teach on the portal, is one of the three direct job
creation and training schemes Nigerians can start
applying for from Sunday, June 12.
"Others are N-Power Knowledge which will train
25,000 Nigerians in the area of technology, and N-
Power Build, which train another 75,000 in the
areas of building services, construction, utilities,
hospitality and catering, automotive vocations,
aluminium and gas services.
"All trainees would be paid for the duration of their
training.
"The N-Power Teacher Corps initiative which will
engage and train 500,000 young unemployed
graduates, is a paid volunteer programme of a 2-
year duration.
"Unemployed Nigerians selected and trained will
play teaching, instructional, and advisory roles in
primary, and secondary schools, agricultural
extension systems across the country, public health
and community education-covering civic and adult
education.
"Besides their monthly take home pay estimated at
about N23,000, the selected 500,000 graduates will
also get computer devices that will contain
information necessary for their specific
engagement, as well as information for their
continuous training and development. They get to
keep the devices even after exiting from the
programme.
"According to the plan of the Buhari administration,
the N-Power Teacher Corps programme is an
invaluable opportunity for young Nigerians to make
immense economic and social contributions to the
nation while developing their skills. It will also help
to address the problems of inadequate teachers in
public schools. |

The Federal Government has said the
introduction of a new price regime for Premium Motor
Spirit (petrol) has become inevitable in order to halt
the crippling fuel scarcity in the country and ensure
availability of the product.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai
Mohammed, who stated this at the inauguration of the
Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) Marketers
Conference in Lagos on Friday, said only the
liberalization of petrol supply will ensure the availability
of the products.
“Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, I can tell you that
that decision is inevitable, if we are to end the crippling
fuel scarcity that has enveloped the country, ensure the
availability of the products and end the suffering that
our people have been subjected to,” he said.
He said the crash in the price of crude oil, which has
impacted negatively on foreign exchange earnings, has
further compounded the crisis in fuel supply.
“With the drastic fall in the price of crude oil, which is
the nation’s main foreign exchange earner, there has
also been a drastic reduction in the amount of foreign
exchange available. The unavailability offorex and the
inability to open letters of credit haveforced marketers
to stop product importation and imposed over 90%
supply on the NNPC since October 2015, in contrast to
the past where NNPC supplies 48% of the national
requirement,” the Minister said.
He further elaborated that in the absence of available
forex lines or crude volumes to continue massive
importation of PMS, it is clear that unless immediate
action is taken to liberalize the petroleum supply and
distribution, the queues will persist, diversion will
worsen and the current prices will spiral out of control.
Alhaji Mohammed, however, said the liberalization of
petrol supply and distribution will allowmarketers and
any Nigerian entity willing to supply PMS to source for
their forex and import PMS to ensure availability of
products in all locations of the country.
He noted that the resultant fuel scarcity has created an
abnormal increase in price, resulting in Nigerians
paying between N150 and N300 per litre as prevalent
hoarding, smuggling and diversion of products have
reduced volumes made available tocitizens.
The Minister explained that the new fuel price regime
should not be misconstrued as the removal of subsidy
since there is no provision for subsidy in the 2016
Appropriation, saying the erstwhile PMS price of
N86.50 gives an estimate subsidy claim of N13.7per
litre which translates to N16.4 billionmonthly.
“There is neither funding nor appropriation to cover
this,” he explained.
Alhaji Mohammed used the occasion to draw the
attention of Nigerians to the renewed insurgency and
pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta, which have
drastically reduced national crude oil production to
1.65 million barrels per day, against 2.2 million barrels
per day planned in the 2016 budget thereby reducing
income to Federation account and also affecting crude
volumes for PMS conversion.
Listing the benefits of the new price regime, he said it
would end the recurrent fuel scarcity by ensuring
product availability across the country, reduce
hoarding, smuggling and diversion of products
substantially, improves fuel supply situation through
private sector participation, creates labour market
stability, as this will potentially create additional
200,000 jobs through new investments in refineries
and retails and prevents potential loss of 400,000 jobs
in existing investments”.
Alhaji Mohammed gave the assurance that underthe
new price regime, the Petroleum Products Pricing
Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) and the Department of
Petroleum Resources (DPR) will be further empowered
to ensure a level playing fieldand strict compliance with
market rules by all stakeholders and consumer
protection.

Who are these people getting richer due to fuel subsidy? Since you know they smile to the bank, why can't the Govt go after them or stop all corruption associated with fuel subsidy If I may ask, Why did you kicked against it when GEJ initiated it? Your party called it then a scam. |

The mistake I made was to have posted the reply of the CEO on this forum. I would av jst kip it to myself. Afterall, I am not in any way related to dem. They r not the only broker I av. What eva actions you guys take, it won't in any way affect me. Happy sunday |
stockbull:Let me state categorically that I am not a staff nor a friend nor family with any staff nor the ceo of morgan. I am just a client. I contacted the ceo on whatsapp yesterday night. He replied me dis morning. What I did was to copy and paste the exact reply he gave me on whatsapp. Since it was his reply, I av to put him as the remark to show the statement was directly from him not me. I can't claim a statement that do not originate from me. If u have his contact, you may confirm from him if the statement originate from me. if u av his number, contact him on whatsapp, he will reply you. |
stockbull:There was a staff (with required access control to make reversals) that tried to make a reversal of a double posting into a client account on 15th Oct., 2015. He inadvertently clicked and reversed the auto-posted annual charge that was posted on 1st Jan 2015 and this reversed ALL annual charges out of ALL clients accounts who had account with us as at 1st Jan 2015, which was the effective date of that posting. When this error was noticed during routine reconciliations, a new auto-posting was made on 12th Jan 2016 with effective date of 1st Jan 2015 as necessary. However, this new entry debited ALL clients who have account with us as at 12th Jan, 2016. This effectively means that all clients that opened their account with us from 2nd Jan 2015 - 12 Jan 2016 would have been affected by a double posting of annual charges for 2015 because they weren't affected by the reversal error. In correcting this for the clients affected (that is: those that opened account btw 2nd Jan 2015 - 12 Jan 2016) we can't make a simple auto-posting to correct this error (this would generate postings across all clients including those not affected), so we have to post individually a reversal into these affected accounts and this process started on the 13th Jan, 2016 and we expect it to be finalized by 22nd Jan 2016. Some clients affected might have seen these reversal postings, but all should see it by 23rd Jan 2016. To further proof this was the case, if anybody has a friend who opened account with us before 1st January, 2015 ask him or her and he would tell you there was indeed a reversal of the 2015 annual charges which was then reposted on 15th Oct 2015. This was why the narration of the posting was clearly stated. Nobody commits fraud by stating clearly a narration like what was stated on the 15th Oct, 2015. We are indeed very sorry for the late explanation and the inconvenience this must have caused you. Regards, CEO |

A fresh crisis is currently brewing in the All
Progressives Congress over the refusal of
President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the
political appointees of his predecessor,
Goodluck Jonathan.
Some leaders of the ruling party, who faulted
Buhari’s retention of the PDP members, called
for their sacking and the appointment of APC
members in their stead.
Besides, some members of the APC also
lamented that Buhari was not helping the
party with funds.
A chieftain of the APC in Lagos, who did not
want his name in print, told our correspondent
that they had not benefitted anything from
Buhari since he took over power eight months
ago.
He said it was as if the President was
rewarding members of the Peoples
Democratic Party and punishing APC
members.
He said, “President Buhari took over on May
29, 2015 and has not rewarded APC members.
Most of the heads of departments and
agencies are members of the PDP who worked
for Jonathan. For example, Onyeka Onwenu is
still the Director-General of the National
Women Centre while Mike Omeri is still the
Director-General of the National Orientation
Agency.
“A former Special Adviser to Jonathan on
Media and Publicity, Mr. Ima Niboro, is still
the Managing Director of the News Agency of
Nigeria while Mr. Sola Omole is still the
Director-General of the Nigeria Television
Authority.
“There are almost 100 ambassadorial positions
that are supposed to have been filled but
these people are still occupying the offices. We
are not asking for security or sensitive
positions but all these appointments I
mentioned are not statutory but merely
political.
“Our people who worked so hard and spent
money on Buhari’s campaign are languishing.
There are many competent people in the
APC.”
Another APC chieftain, who also craved
anonymity, said if Buhari continued this way,
the APC might not be able to retain power
beyond 2019.
He said most of the people that were being
appointed by the President were either
northerners or members of the defunct
Congress for Progressive Change.
The party leader added that about 15 of the 36
people appointed as ministers did not work for
the party in the last elections and were not
popular in their states.
He recalled that many of the ministers were
rejected by their state governors and state
party chapters because they had no roots or
allegiance to them.
He said, “In Bayelsa State, the Minister of State
for Agriculture and Rural Development,
Heineken Lokpobiri, was a member of the PDP
during the elections and he campaigned for
Jonathan. He defected to the APC in August
and was appointed a minister the following
month. And yet, the core APC members were
abandoned.
“The Minister of Environment, Amina
Mohammed, from Gombe State, is not an APC
member. The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac
Adewole, is not an APC member. The Minister
of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udo
Udoma, was a PDP member during the
election and there are many more examples.”
