ariesbull:Yes, that is why it is good to go their legality. People that have work/resident permit don't face this kind of issue. They work, make money and come back home to build family or build it over there. |
crestedaguiyi:The most painful part of this story is the fact that he wasted active part of his life in chasing citizenship in a foreign land. There were still many opportunities in Nigeria 38 years ago, who knows he might have make it big in his father land. Though he acted smartly now, because at his age, it is much more better for him to remain in UK and enjoy all the benefits from their government. |
Collecting more tax is one, using the fund realise from it to better the lives of Nigerians is another. If we can't see the impact of money generated from fuel subsidy removal, I wonder why anyone should believe the government on the reason to increase taxes. They will just be giving thievery state governors more money and use the rest to pay poor Nigerians that are not exists. |
oluwaseyi0:Sarah was more impactful on the pitch last season than this guy, and if we are to judge solely by individual performance, he deserve it more than Dembele. Football award to individual players in nonsense to me, it is a game of 11 players, no player should deserve any honour than one another. Or batter still, the award should base on best player in different position on the pitch( best goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder and striker). |
Unlimited money. You need nothing else in this contemporary world but money. Also if I can speak any language, I will be able to tour the world at ease with my affluence. |
seanwilliam:Bear or bull Market is now a mere illusion, market dynamism has changed, we might not have direct bear or bull market again. For instance, Bitcoin was around 26k about 18 months ago, and it is now over 100k, while 95% alts went down 500% during the same period. That already negates the concept of bear/bull market, and if we are to clarify this, it is good to say Bitcoin has been on bull run since late 2023, while alts were on brutal bear market since that time till now. It was probably a result of market manipulation by big players. Unlike before that people invested in different coins, these players are only focus on Bitcoin and few major coins. Since their fund can practically shake the market, all they do now is to LONG and inject money to pump bitcoin, then SHORT and pull off their money to crash it. The reason bitcoin and few major alts keep moving steadily is because of their dominance of the market. People are wise now, except LONG and SHORT feature are remove, whales and other institutions won't see a need to keep their investments in crypto market as assets but trading, asset because they can make profit either ways. As for the bolded, I meant top 50 coins, which include BTC , BNB,SOL, TON, LTC, ETH, XRP, etc, solid meme coins like PEPE, FLOSKI, DOGE, BOME, SHIB and NOT are also good to consider. The big players that influence the market do have confidence in these coins, and you can equally benefit from this, instead of investing your hard earned money in fake coins listed all over the exchanges. |
kallsy:Damn, what an insult, what do you know about crypto? i once had a group where I teach people how to trade and drop trading signal for them. More than 150 Nairalanders were even members. I am so surprise you feel you can teach someone with 10 years cryptocurrency experience how to do things. If I tell you something,, it left for you to wait and see how it manifest rather than replying me. |
jayce232:A real bull run won't happen again in crypto market, know this and have peace. You cant have big institutions and whiles that long and short market and expecting a real bull run, that is the big difference between then and now. Crypto is better off as trading tools like forex now. It is not something you keep any longer, just make a short gain and wait to buy low again. If you really love your money, trade only top 50 stable and meme coins. The rest can bankrupt you for ever even though they perform excellently well initially. |
nairalanda1:If you say his kids in private schools was a results of negligence of public university, does that also stop lecturers from making personal research that will add meaningful impact in the system? Does it stop them from evolving, rather than teaching obsolete 19th century western myth/curriculum? Besides, is it all his children that are not doing any course offered by the university he works in? It is a simple logic that you are cunningly trying to defend. You can't impact good knowledge in your students and say your children should not be part of it . This is the kind of shame we stupidly accept as a way of life in Nigeria. |
nairalanda1:And how do you expect someone whose his children are not in where he works wholeheartedly teach his students? Is it even proper for a whole professor not to trust where he works? If he indeed put all his children in private university and keep blaming for poor salary, it means he is living above his income. Every damn person in Nigeria is poorly paid, we are just managing ourselves ni. |
This sowore guy is a kid in adult body, he is obviously doing this for a particular cause or purpose. Because Wike granted interview about how some leaders wouldn't sue him, he now quickly rushed to his social media to call him the same name. So that all of us can see how daring he is, so childish and irritating. |
motymop:I trust Nigerians, people will simply stop depositing money into bank accounts. |
Kylekent59:Please stop this postulation, it can never ever happen in Lagos. Lagos politicians are the most sophisticated in Nigeria. I trust them 100%, situation can never get to that level before the waring parties reason together and put everything in order. If Rivers event were to happened in Lagos or SW states, stake holders, Obas and elders statemen would've called them to order instead of taking side to fight one another. The reality is that, if you don't put your house in order, the strangers will invade and rule over your land. |
Northernblood8:Lolz, does he look like someone that can share his property with anyone. Have you ever seen a Nigerian man living in Nigeria shared his properties with his wife after divorce? |
This Yellow card has been in existence for so long but greed and lack of transparency will never allow them to grow or become popular among Nigeria crypto investors. When major exchanges were banned in Nigeria, i tried this app, only to lose about 14k (a whopping 14%) out of 100k in the causes of buying and withdrawing. This is criminality, and I won't recommend the app to anyone. If you want to buy crypto, just use exchanges P2P and send it down to your wallet. |
Nigeria and Africa need this the most. Since we can't successfully rule ourselves, why can't we have programmed robots to do the job for equity and progress. |
Why is this a news, it was still the same front seats. I don't see any issue or disrespect in this. |
Oisagbai78:She is not destined to be begging, it is just a business to her. She didn't see it as suffering but good business that require no financial investment. Alot of these beggers made more money than those doing legit businesses. Imagine making 550k at once, A year salary of some people, and you expect such a person to quit the begging? Dey play. |
I don't think so, there are too many applicants from Nigeria, hence the restrictions by these developed countries. |
How is this a news? Majority of girls does the same codedly. |
Kaiser20:I think there is more to this world class hospital that we may not know. Western government may decided not to sell some secrete medical equipments or Robots to less developed countries to allow medical tourism because it gives them alot of money. I may be wrong on this though. |
illicit:What would you do with 4 bedroom flat if you don't have plan of taking in many people? A simple 2 or 3 bedroom pen house is more than enough for a nuclear family. When all your children leaves, that is when you know the important of small space as elderly person. |
Sonnobax15:That is not a good advise from your dad, considering how poorly these public schools are being run. Even the teachers in these public schools don't put their children there. He should've rather advise him to look for a school that is within his budget or the one he can easily afford. You dad should've simply tell him to do something about the situation because he can't keep borrowing money to pay his children school fees withiout being specifically on what he should do. Sometime, people found themselves in some situations they hope to get out from soonest, you don't need to downgrade them at that moment but to advise in line of what you think they deserve. |
omoredia:That is probably for movies they produce or participating in, and not their private social media handles where they have millions followers and posted alot of stuffs including short clips. |
omoredia:Not always true, these ladies made substantial amount from their social media channels. Majority of them has more followers than their male colleagues. Besides, the advent of Netflix, YouTube, and other pay to view platforms has made both their new and old movies income generator in Dollars. |
These boys are simply not good enough, give them another coach, they will still flopp. |
Gone are those days, city life has made people forget alot of old things. Too tedious to prepare, reason young women of this generation will never chose it even if giving for free. |
PigTormentor:You dey mind them, no soul from Nigeria can liberate the country. Nigerians are too oppressive by nature, and one of the things they use to oppressive other is money or influence. A typical Nigerian will rather embezzled all that belong to public in order for the same public to come and beg him for crumbs. We derives so much joy in living large and above everyone because that is what gave us an edge over them and treat them the way it suit us. Humanity, integrity and patriotism has left us, while insatiable greed, wickedness, and lack of foresight has cemented in our hearts. For Nigeria to move forward, it must embrace true federalism where each region will set out a new constitution that align with 21st century reality. Regionalism promote sense of belonging by people of the same root, identity and culture. It enhanced competitiveness among the regions and pave way for genuine patriotism. |
raddyworld:100% certain about that, and I hope we collectively achieve it. No amount of Tinubu, Obi, Atiku or anybody can develop this highly diverse and corrupt entity called Nigeria. We need regional government where people of the same culture, identity and value will take care of their future in accordance with 21st century reality. Tax reform Regional development commission State control of resource Local governments autonomy State police The above are the vital steps to regionalism. |
So painful to lose a big imported turkey that worth 80k or more. The thief is probably one of your close friends or neighbours who has seen it or know about turkey and where to sell it. Try to visit where they sell poultry birds in your area and check if you can see it. Also try to stylislishly interrogate some children around you (only say you are looking for a big white turkey), you make take one or two things from their responses. And don't ask them in the present of their parents or adults. |
simpleseyi:And you too sir. |
