icekwuin:Specially made feed, quality and expensive than normal feed. Brands like Breedwell, Chikun, Hybrid, New Hope, Happy chicken, all have their special formulation feeds called professional feeds. |
Pistotita:Chikun Ultima super starter and its finisher. Cheapest among professional feeds brands at 154k per tons. I am a die hard fan of Breedwell professional feed, but they failed me in my last two circles. This Chikun Ultima is currently doing wonderful job in terms of fast growth. Hybrid and new hopes professional feeds are also good but more expensive than Chikun Ultima with the same quality or even not up to Chikun. |
icekwuin:The person is not into poultry business i think. 4kg per bird is enough to feed broiler for six weeks, You may not even need up to that to get heavy weight birds if you use professional feed. |
icekwuin:2 tons is 80 bags of 25kg. |
icekwuin:It depends on price of DOC, quality of feed used and your target weight. Just have a budget of 1.8 tons of professional feed or 2 tons of normal feed for the duration of 6 weeks. 40k for drugs, vaccine and brooding materials. Add everything with current price of DOC and get your total cost. |
ejeberphyl:Can you please share the term and condition of doing business with your company. Waiting patiently for your reply sir. |
Hammedsodiq:You made a very sensible comment here sir. One problem about nairalanders is that, they are always one way traffic, once someone, especially first comment condemn or commend something, they will all follow the same line. What moral upbringing do you expect from someone whose parents has separated since she was a child. What moral lessons has she learnt from her parents as one united family? @op. no one is absolutely perfect in this life, not even you i guess. Sometimes, we might be innocent but falls victims of circumstance. So, if she has giving her life to Christ or you see a genuine determination in her that she dont pray to follow the path of her parents, please give her a chance to prove herself. |
BuhariBuster:Do you know how many people who are ready to invest in this sector but are afraid of market situation as a result of smuggling? The price will definitely come to the point of equilibrium within a year or two. No one will ever progress in life without sacrifice, the same theory applied to nations. |
Let borders remain closed till we are able to sustain self sufficient in local food production. This is not a rocket science, but common sense. You have the markets, arable land, able jobless people and a lot of people who are ready to invest heavily in locally made products, yet you are still allowing your neighbours to take good advantage of your large market or purchasing power to enrich their economies. |
Thank you op, every business owner needs your points to be successful in his/her business. Mainwhile, employees are the major problem of many businesses these days. Only few business owners can detect this early enough before they ruin the business. There are too many over ambitious youths looking for quick way to make fast money from any channel they might found themselves. |
FindingNigeria:Please explain? |
@op, are farmers not actually poor? Except you are into animal husbandry [ Poultry, Pig, Cattle, Turkey, Goat, Fish etc] or exportable cash crops like Cocoa, Rubber or cashew, i dont see why you should be calling yourself rich. The reality is that, an average Nigerian farmer dont have mean or hope of preserving his/her harvests, hence they are always at the mercy of middle men who buy cheaply and make all the profits. The fact is that, middle men and retailers are richer than most farmers. Finally, no one can look than on you if you are actually rich as people can easily smell how wealthy you are by your lifestyle. |
