Stop lying to us thinking you are smart by half. What do you mean by your dreams come true on many occasions? undecided
If in a dream, I lost control of the car eventually crashing it somewhere weirdly, and then days later(reality now) I accidentally crashed my car into a car in front of me, is that to say my dream came true? (This happened to me and I fit smack anyone who claims it means my dream came true. ) 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

If in my dream I had a quarrel with my daughter about the clothes she plans to wear to a party and then days later I quarreled with my daughter instead about the color and tackiness of the car she plans to drive, that is my dream coming true?🤔

Much of what we see and experience in our dreams is sourced from our memories/experiences, thoughts, and emotion buckets. So, some of what we see in dreams may resemble some of what we experienced either in the past or in the future. This nonsense about dreams coming true is usually made up by folks who think it is OK to pretend only that aspect of the dream they have chosen to fixate on should matter. Go back through this thread here to find many examples of such foolishness! 🙄
Ok, what about a dream that someone find herself in a very tick forest and got bite by a wild Dog. She woke up and see the wound oozing out the blood. She live in a core city centre where you won't find bushes, let alone forest.

How would clarify such a dream? Was the person sleep walk upto 5000km from city center, enter the forest and got bite by a wild dog?

The only thing that prevented me from becoming athest is dream hypothesis, which I sometimes experienced personally. That alone make me understand that there is existence of spiritual realm, and by being spiritual in a particular religion, you can actually experience these supernatural influences.

Reminds me of a junior colleague who left my former place of work before me. I later left too, when we were being owed salaries with no hope. I contacted him when things were so difficult for my family, he blocked me instantly on WhatsApp. Few years later the table turned, life dealt him a fatal blow, he contacted me with another number.........on the contrary I even assisted him and did not bother to remind him of how he maltreated me when I needed his help, but when begging was becoming habitual for him, I ignored, but did not block him make he no think say he don catch maga grin
Except he has done other good things for you before, you should have reminded him and block him as well. That kind of person will still do the same when they become rich again. How do you want him to learn if you can't reciprocate in the same measure to him.

How can you block someone because he ask you for help. If you say your hands are tight, that you couldn't offer help at that particular time, the person will understand but blocking him is a total lack of respect for the person. A person that don't help you today can still do something good for you tomorrow but blocking the person is totally out of it.

@op, how old are you? Because if you are adult with experience, you won't have any need to create a thread like this.

Women are naturally self centre, they love comforts, and often fight off anything that can take out of that comforts. It is all about protecting their empire and finance. You are their empire and ATM that other person should not have access to.

As a man, except her family members, you don't need to tell a women what you want to do for others.

Single guys wasted alot of money on frivolities withiout knowing.

Unlike singles, low income married men don't necessary buys expensive gifts for their wives, they don't spend to impress their partners, they hardly eat out like singles. Low income married men don't have savings, they eat usually from hand to month.

It is not easy to be a married man in the present economy. If you are a single guy on an average salary structure, and still often broke, then you need to check your spending habits.

Guys this is very real and true, don't joke about it. I had similar experience.

I slept one night and had a dream that I owned a Pagani sports car.

Lo and behold, I woke up to see a car key in my hand and upon looking through the window I saw the very exact same car parked in front of my house.
While I wont still 100% believe her story but dreams are not just reflection of our daily activities, it reveal alot about future events.

Dream is the only reason that still make me to have strong believe in existence of spiritual realms.

Rather than propose bills to move the nation forward starting from constitution ammendment, they are thinking of creating more states to add more criminals to power.

The creation of states worsened the economy compared to when we had just regions. It never brought the government closer to the people, it only created opportunity for more criminals.
These are the morons and criminals that are rulling us. Politics as it being practice in Nigeria is too Conservative and devilish, reason we can't have much sensible people in power.

Imagine calling for additional states when we should be looking for ways to eliminate the ones we have. State are the major reason for underdevelopment of this country, until we end states as arms of government, we will keep calling trillions upon trillions of naira as budge with absolute nothing to show for it.

It is much more better to have regional government, under which local government will be the next and final level of government or better still, Federal government and 774 local governments.

Absolutely not, give them 5 million naira a month, they will still engage in corruption. An average Nigeria is too greedy to be satisfy, the moment he get that 5m, he will start looking at how to accumulate 20m.

The best way to curb corruption in Africa is to withdraw the power to acquire private property from individuals.

What should those children selling wires in traffic do, if you are fortunate to be in higher institution and still can't manage to push ahead for a better days.

Parents, no matter how rich you are, please train your children how to withstand the complex world we live in. Let your children know how to solve their problems by themselves from early stage in life.

It is quite unfortunate that we may have practically stuck with Tinubu until 2031.

1. This is what I hate the most about people who think it OK to boldly beat one's ignorant chest in arrogance. You are faced with evidence showing that children are not what you claim pure and innocent but equally capable of evil yet you continue to ramble on, for what reason or purpose abeg? 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

2. So good kids are only born by those you mentally classify as good, abi? 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I think my previous post was very clear and straightforward.

A good kid can inherit it from both parents/grandparents/lineages and immediate environment.

An evil kid can also inherit it from both parents/grandparents/lineages and immediate environment.

Our genetics composition/lineages and immediate environments are the major determinant of our behavioural pattern.

My exact point is that, children are not capable of evil withiout being influenced by the two aforementioned factors. Their minds are pure, null and void from inception. They become whatever that is wrote on that plain mind later in life.

Go and do a little practical research about it (on your kids and those around you).

I sorry for business owners right now. The Chinese guys in my office premises I once wrote about that opened a nylon making factory and poached all the workers in the neighbourhood, I hear just laid off half their workers. Hear their monthly electricity bill runs into 30m+.
The event center and mini hotel next door is contemplating shut down as their bill is about 7m.
Imagine a whole UCH Ibadan has not had electricity for 2 months because their bill is over 400m and rising.
Bros, very few business can operate with such high cost of power. Solar is not an option because the cost of setting up solar to run a 30 room hotel will be crazy, not to talk of changing all the ACs to inverter units.
This people are killing the economy gradually.
If you could spent 5k daily on electricity, don't you think is more logical for you to go for like 3kva Solar of around 2.5 millions naira and use just 5k to recharge your metre per month.

One of the most infamous killers in Japan was a 14-year-old who viciously tortured his classmates eventually decapitating one of them. The internet is filled with stories of children who committed the most unspeakable of crimes against their peers, some against their own parents. But here you are pissing down our backs with tales of how children are incapable of malice, and not mature enough to process information or plan murders? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_youngest_killers
There are two things that constitutes behavioural pattern in a child;

1. Genetic composition.
2. What a child is expose to in it immediate environment.

A child mind is pure, null and void, it knows nothing other than what it expose to and innate attitude inherited generically. That says, whatever a child does are not independent out of what he inherited or expose to. Their minds are like plain papers, they do whatever you write there or they see from their immediate environments.

A child can't be evil withiout being born by evil parents or grandparents . He can't be evil withiout being expose to evil thought or items.

Peer pressure or poverty do affect a child later in life but his/her foundation before this stage will significantly limit the impact on him/her.

Nah, just an ordeal can stay in a kid's mind. As a parent(especially father), on a rare occasion, try and apologise to your kids for the wrong you did, that they may still remember. Your ego may not permit you to get the feedback from asking them that 'if there's anything wrong I have done based on what I taught you' question.
Lolz, are you married with kids?

Because I don't understand you anymore. You discipline your children out of love to laid a good foundation for them and not out of mere wickedness. Every kid grown up to understand the importance of discipline by their parents, especially when they start seeing the result of that discipline in their lives or when they start having kids too.

The only evil you can do to your kids that may make them not to easily forgive you is by not giving them enough care and education when they truly know you can. Another one is imposition of a particular thing on them, when they've mature enough to know what is good for them.

Only an evil child or bastard would grown up to revenge a mere discipline on their parents.

FamilyRe: Kids never forget - Parents, be careful out there! by yemmit90: 12:14pm On Feb 01, 2025
You are wrong, kids don't keep malice, their brains are not mature enough to process and digest informations to arrive at logical conclusion. Kids can lie, can be bitter sometimes, can act on what their parents told them but can never keep malice or being revengeful except they are kept under perpetual abuse.

This particular one is probably being treated with disdain by his mum upto to the time he became a full grown adult.

Sharia law in SW is a recipe for disaster, no educated person will allow or follow such law here. People are just too Liberal to allow that to happen. They can't operate for 6 months before all the alfas and those involves get killed by even the fellow Muslims. They will eventually cause chaos and serious civil disturbance if government allow that nonsense.

adaperry25:
Thank you all for your advice. It meant a lot to me.

I prayed over everything and decided to chat my babe up since we have not spoken for 3 days. I did that for 2 reasons:

1. To maintain communication and let her know we aren't enemies

2. To know her mindset and that of her family.

Babe was trying to gaslight me that I'm the cause of everything and I broke her heart and hopes. That I disrespected her mom by arguing on the phone and hanging up. She refused to digest the contents of the argument even when I made her to understand she lied to me and she should make up with her dad's family.

She said she's not begging me to marry her and her family has the right to do the TM anywhere they choose.

I decided to keep mute to avoid escalating the issue.

The wedding plans is finally TERMINATED.
You did what every mature man would've done by asking about her dad relatives, but at the same time, you have no business mending into their affair as family.

Since the purpose of you to have Traditional marriage in the village is for your own people to attend too, you don't have any business with them but to stick to your plan. Whoever they bring forth as father inlaw should be OK by you.

And this my advise to you; be careful of a family headed by a woman who doesn't want to associate with her inlaws in such an important occassion like wedding. She was probably the one caused havoc between her late husband and his family. She is a bitter woman, who was probably the centre of controversy between her late husband and his family. She is a kind of woman that probably don't tolerate any family members around her husband. The implication is that, her daughter will do the same to you 100%.

We are on the brink of losing the ability to train top-tier professionals like Doctors, Dentists, Nuclear Engineers, and Architects. Instead, we might end up with a workforce of mediocrity, where the principle of 'garbage in, garbage out' prevails.
I disagree with you sir, entertainers has their roles to play in society too. Society can't function withiout diversification of life and jobs related aspects.

All citizens can't be Doctors, Engineers or Architects, we needs entertainers too to balance the functionality of the society as it can't function properly withiout them.

Even in more complex or rigid societies like old Greeks or Sparta, entertainment gathered more people than any other sector of social life. So, it is quite understandable that society give them alot of attention than other sectors. Even the professionals you mentioned above can't function well withiout entertainers, they are equally important to society just like any other professional.

His lawyers must be incompetent.

There is no evidence that a murder took place other than the fact that they conceal

The autopsy was inconclusive.

It also doesn't make sense to convict a suspect of murder when they were never present
in the murder scene unless it can be proven they gave instruction for the murder which
the prosecution failed to prove.

I suspect the court being influenced by public sentiments.

No murder weapon or method, suspect not present in murder scene and no concrete motive
and still the court went ahead to convict.

Covering up a death should not attract death sentence.

It is time to change the lawyers.
Lolz, you think all the people around him are daft or can't think like you?

To sentence a man as wealthy and strong as Adedoyin to death, they must have seen undeniable physical evidences against him.

What do you really understand by being irresponsible?

So two consenting adults making out is now termed irresponsible.huh
What actually made a man irresponsible is the fact that he is morally bankrupt. Being consented to something doesn't mean you are doing the right thing. Will you be happy if your beloves wife spread her legs for another man in the name of two consenting adults?

It is morally wrong and unlawful to be sleeping with another man's wife that is still marry to him. Since a man cannot be happy seeing someone else sleeping with his wife, then why would he find pleasure in doing the same thing? What value do a man see in a woman who is betraying his fellow man? What would a man gain in destroying another man's home or marriage by sleeping with his wife?

The danger associated with it is much more greater than what you will enjoy from it. Some men won't even say anything, they will just codedly eliminate you and sent the wife packing.
