If Elephant should pay btw 50-70k, it's a good one and an improvement.
We all know the plight of that bank. If it were to be a smaller bank that faced what FBN faced and still managed to weather the storm, it would have gone under.
Lol. Not making case for The Elephant o......but just trying to see the bank from the point of efforts being made to stay alive and striving to improve on their performances.
If Elephant continues this way, I want to believe that it won't take so long to return to her original position.

You see, one thing that's still pending is the insurance recapitalization exercise.
Except NAICOM or whichever body in charge of this withdraws or cancel it, then it will still take place maybe with extended deadline.
When?? We don't know yet.

Most of the insurance companies have commenced activities in line with that........ That's why you can see the likes of NEM, MANSARD, AIICO, LINKAGE, MBENEFIT and maybe some other ones doing reconstructions, giving bonuses, embarking on right issues as well as sourcing for investors both within and outside the country to be able to meet up when time comes.

Some will be acquired while some will merge in the course of this. So, no hope is lost yet.
If not for the apathy towards insurance sector, quite a lot of them are undervalued.

If not for the apathy, how can you explain Custodian for instance still dilly-dallying around N7, with that type of result and div payouts??

......but from the findings that time, if I could still recollect, German Govt has a stake in the Coy thru a private coy, which could have been another factor that could be influencing their operations positively.

As for NIGERINS, I also observed the activities there from 20k and has recently been on full bid.......
Maybe acquisition or merger is in the pipeline who knows.

Result issue seems to still be affecting Oando, so cautious trading is going on around it for now.

Oando is supposed to benefit from the boom in oil price, I hope they sort their issues out fast so we can know where the company stands.

Though Oando can spring surprise BUT think we should stick to certainty for now.
You may keep eye on it to know when the big boys will reason it's matter.

SEPLAT seems to be gathering more energy with the oil price going up......
You can follow your mind and pick some @800 or below since no one is helping out here. The stock may hit 1000 if oil keeps going up like this.
Total is also good, you can pick some units here too.

Let's expect the gurus to reply this.
They have first hand information on these big oil stocks.
The time I was shouting SEPLAT was when it went down to circa 300 but now @800, I don't even know what the financials are saying nor following the news around it.......but Seplat remains a good stock with quarterly dividend payments and, especially with oil price going up.

As for TOTAL, Currentprice and some ogas recommended it for pick here recently.
Try and surf thru his posts and put him in copy.

1. (outcome benefit from) The commissioning of the Amukpe-Escravos Pipeline (AEP) in the fourth quarter with oil flow in December 2021.
2. (pricing benefit from) The recent uptick in the average price of crude oil in USD over averge USD price of oil in the final quarter of 2021.
3. Production is expected to be in the range 48-50 kboepd for the year, compared to 33kbopd through the final quarter of 2021

FA wise, they're not doing bad too.
