When will Dangote Flour be listed?

Ur case is exceptional because you were lucky, or savvy in picking a choice plot. If you wait for First bank it will definitely reach its real price of about N50-60 and the profit should be almost comparable then. I dont agree that land is that short-term in appreciation rates.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by youngdoc: 1:57am On Dec 01, 2007
NAIRALANDERS

If Dangote Flour is going to be oversubscribed then this is confirmation to me that market sentiment could greatly overwhelm fundamentals when applied wisely. In the case of DF, all the pundits and gurus denigrated the stock, too expensive, too this, too that. Dont forget that this is NSE and this is Dangote! After DSR, and with the market share he holds ( with Dangote Flour, who hasnt bought a sack or have a family member use one) I made a gamble to see how much market sentiments would factor into appreciation and it seems like i learned something.
Fingers crossed to see the rest unfold. My stethoscope picks up a growing heartbeat in DF,

Windywendy welcome back!

Will Bagco go the way of DF due to market sentiment? what sayeth thou?
I join to await your analysis with a confocal microscope.! grin

@tonyjon

Thanks for your reply. I know both PHB and bagco are good but I want to pick JUST ONE and hit it real hard. Hence my dilemma. Which would u back 100%?
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by youngdoc: 5:25am On Nov 22, 2007
@ Gurus

I am torn between Bank PHB and Bagco. I like the positive energy coming from PHB ( their aggressive focus on growth, advertising and innovation will shoot them to the top). I also like Bagco because it is kinda a monopoly in Sack manufacturing ( if it retains its hold on market share over Dangote sacks) and their books have been cleaned to pay off profits so I know where I stand. Right now I am asking which one is the CLEAR 300% stock btw both say by the end of 2009 ( I am a long termer). Wanajo, Pumping, Easimoni, Frankiriri, Temmie 10, Aktopgun, Fatherof2, anyone interested in replying please chip in on this,

So what if you are offered money for the donation of your parts? Does it spoil the effect? How about giving blood, does anyone feel iffy about that too?
Health / Re: Would You Like To Be Buried Or Would You Donate Your Body To Scientific Research by youngdoc: 2:35am On Aug 23, 2007
Dont worry, when you have liver cancer and need a new one you will know how ridiculous this question is. You are the type that shouldnt donate anyways, abeg make sure they bury u.

Nairalanders,
If you know that your organs ( heart, liver, kidney etc) would be used to keep someone alive, or your brain could be researched to understand better how a healthy brain works ( assuming we all have healthy brains grin grin grin), would you agree or would you insist on being buried/cremated/whatever tradition mandates?

So what happens to penny stocks with this new Naira policy? A stock that was 0.60 kobo like some insurance companies would have a base price below which they can not descend right? like 1kobo.
