So my sister gave birth recently in Edmonton, just want to share some brief details.
I found a gynae for her before she landed, she got a referral from my family doctor, paid $120 for that. I called around and we shortlisted 2, the first one (a group of ob-gyn) was going to collect $3000 for delivery and $250/visit. The second has a fee breakdown for delivery and payment of $250/first visit and $120/subsequent visits so we chose him because the first didn’t really explain his fees.
Well the doc she signed up with didn’t end up taking the delivery as he was away, so the ob on call did it. She paid $2200 for his fee, $500 for anaesthesia and total hospital( fee was $8800

There were also some other small fees but I can’t remember now. My advice is to research well, I was only able to get this information because I am a resident and I kept telling them that she’s my sister. Birth tourism isn’t very popular here

I can't comprehend the level of lack of empathy with most of our medical institutions(Hospitals)....
That's why I have HMO for myself and love ones in my care....
Can't face the pain from knowing I lost a close relation because of a medical or financial incapability...NEVER!

Nigerian medical personnel always reject people in critical condition because they know they don't have the proper skill set and equipment to handle such cases ..they prefer Malaria and Typhoid

Complimentary breakfast in most hotels usually comes with their best rooms now. Unless this is the best room d hotel has to offer.
I am currently in Randolph hotel ph, day 2 in a 15k room and nobody has said a word to me about breakfast.

@ Oga Bellong and others...I was filling my form tra form as apprehentice dressmaker...there was a part asking for qualification...Although i have trade test; this was not the qualification from my boss...so im kind of confuse...As an apprentice, no qualification is given after graduation except certificate...please help a brother out...thanks

Next time beforehand take 2 tab of panadol and again every 3hrs while the job is on. Its all u need to last a day of tedious labor and have no pains later. Do this as a gentleman.. But Ur mates u saw doing it effortlessly use tramadol or splif to tilt the odds.
