This is why we always think that you Igbos are unwise. Your brain should tell you that some or most of the people you see there, do not even know what is happening, some do not even support it and are ready to truncate it because they do not know why we must split.

Do you know that most of the politicians are doing underground work so that people do not truncate the new food, power, prestige etc that they have acquired. It is gaining ground and what some of us are praying for is for the govt to make the mistakes that will escalate this so that a lot of people will get to know what is happening.

In the case of the Igbos, you have been conditoned from birth to know about Biafra and the killings of millions etc.Sometimes, we are surprised that you still have people sabotaging your biafran dreams among you, even fighting for the Nigerian presidency.

We love all.We just think that it is better for us to separate after 60 years of going backward.
We can still be good neighbors.
Yorubas have never said they want out of Nigeria but merely looking and interacting with our neighbors and seeing their mmindse and nonchalant attitude to the progress of Nigeria except tribe, tribe and tribe,we know that Nigeria will sooner or later disintegrate.

We love Hausas,Igbos,Fulanis,Kanuris,Gwaris etc.may God continue to bless us all.

The journey has started.Oduduwa nation is berthed..
Throwing jibes on Igbos is foolishness. It's not wisdom to run away from reality. Everyone can clearly see what is happening in Nigeria. Only one set of 'bold' people are doing all the killings at present in Nigeria. From Boko Haram to fulani terrorist militias. They've perfected how to use the Nigerian Army (with other ethnic groups inside her) to do their bidding. They do this by either paying them huge some of money or exploiting the tribal prejudices of these soldiers against the targeted locality to be slaughtered. Ordinarily, why should someone fight against Amotekun when the Nigerian police has failed to protect Yorubas in the SW? Did any Igbo or someone from SS or even MB kick against it? Why should any reasonable human encourage the killing of IPOB members who are protesting peacefully? If we say we want a referendum to be held, why should we be killed for it?
You Yorubas should shun fear and stand for your territory else you'll lose it in the near future. If they succeed in dominating the middle belt before you wake up, it will be near impossible for your people to escape. Wake up!

I know you're Yoruba as against your numerous claims of being from the SS. Your allegory is totally wrong. Go and watch Ahmadu Bello's video where he was interviewed in the early 60s. That alone will tell you that Nigeria was never meant to be. If a supposed Nigerian will publicly say he prefers an expatriate over a fellow Nigerian in his locality simply because of the region from where he originated, then you would see that there was a foundational fault already.

We're currently monitoring the war in the lower Caucasus between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is the latest mode of warfare. Wars are usually the last resort. We don't wish for war but if that's the last option then so be it. We want to control our land where any terrorist that crosses the border to rape or kill our people in the bush will be skinned alive publicly on national TV.

So I watched a program on Nat Geo Wild and I saw how monkeys, having different clans fought territorial war against other clans, it was so interesting but there were casualties.

Then I thought of Syria war which was fought in 21st century and there was a whole lot of difference between these two war.

While there is a winner when monkeys clash, there is never a victor when humans fight civil war in this present time, forget 1960

What Wikipedia will tell you about Syrian war is that The Syrian civil war is an ongoing multi-sided civil war in
Syria fought between the Ba'athist Syrian Arab Republic led by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad , along with domestic and foreign allies, and various domestic and foreign forces opposing both the Syrian government and each other in varying combinations.

But we all know that is not true, yes the people of Syria started the war and gave way to foreign countries, these countries didn't come to help, what they did was hide under the shadows of Syrian govt and revolutionaries and try to use Syria as a land to train their military powers and take their natural resources

First they(foreign powers) came into Syria and killed every opposition male youth capable of protesting, Yes, there is no male youth in Syria, not even one... There is no single standing building in the country. Damascus that was once a beautiful place is now like a cemetery.

Then they took the children and women as refugees, these women lost their husbands, their energetic male youths. All you see in refugees camp are women and children below the age of 14, show me any male child of 20yrs and above in refugees camp, there is none.

Some of these children, especially the females are sold of as sex slaves but few are lucky to escape and u see them begging in other countries. If u travel a lot, u may have seen few in Nigeria streets, if u try to tell them to show u their parents that u wish to adopt them, they will run away, knowing what they went through in the hands of their masters and will never believe you.

Only those rich men who forced them to war are capable of leaving the countries but the poor ones and mid class will have their fate in the hands of other countries, either as refugees or are being killed on sight.

Those that started the war wish to end the war but the power to end the war is no more in their hands, and the war is now 9yrs old.

A slow progressing country is better than a desert

u may think u want to fight for ur unborn generation but just a little mistake and there will be no place for that unborn generation to live.

meanwhile a country in west Africa is thinking of fighting a war, make ona wait first make I get small money so I fit run comot cos as a male youth, I know I'll never become a refugee but I'll be killed on sight.

one is already a citizen of Israel, the other is already capable of flying out whenever he wants, Even if u dont like urself, wat about your children, your mother, your sisters? Do you have any idea of what will become of them because of your foolishness?
Then support the push for a referendum. Let's decide peacefully. We have never sought for your land. We just want to control our land and build it as we wish without any hindrance.

This is commendable from Sunday Igboho and his comrades. It's saddening though that majority of the Yoruba people ran away. You can see his lamentation but I believe eventually majority of the Yoruba population will gather the courage to stand for their own nation. If terrorist fulani militias kill you in your farms or on the highways without anything punishment against them, why not channel your life to fight against the system that gives them cover? I wonder how some people in this Nigeria think. It's just a peaceful protest and some of them are already scared to their pants. It's very shameful.
I rather die challenging a system than dying from hunger or in the hands of a stinking fulani militia.

This is one of the effects of flooding the Nigerian security forces with Muslim northerners. They Hausa/Fulani soldiers are doing this in the South because they are not from here; something they can never try in their Hausaland. I think stupid docile Southerners who spend all their precious time on frivolities such as BBN show can now see the results of their cowardice and nonchalant attitude towards taking charge of the leadership of this country from these satanic Islamists. When you remind Southerners of the future danger of the lopsided recruitment of Muslim northerners into the armed forces by the Buhari's regime at the detriment of Christians, they will be foolishly chanting "north still remain the poverty capital". Now the dangerous effects of Muslim domination of entire armed forces have started manifesting; burning southern communities without remorse what they couldn't even do in Boko Haram/ Fulani bandits operational territories in the North.
Decisions can be debated but consequences are suffered. I don't wish to trade blames but some part of the South complained when this was being done, the other part from the same south said it doesn't matter. They said the president was free to choose those he was confident with. This is now the result.
Mind you, this is not the first time they've burned down villages in the south. I was once in a gathering where one ex-soldier was bragging about how they burnt down one village in this same Rivers state. I was just looking at with a smile on my face.

People of Okoma Community in
Ahoada East Local Government Area

Nigerian Army.
Soldier invaded the community at the
weekend, and burnt down several
houses.
Sources from Okoma community,
who claimed they are taking refuge in
some neighbouring communities,
denied knowledge of the cause of
Army invasion.
Paramount ruler of the community,
Felix Ogubie, said residents had
moved to nearby communities for
refuge following molestations from
the Army personnel who invaded the
area.
Ogubie said: “We were here in our
house when soldiers came and
started shooting and destroying
houses. They said they were after oil
thieves. They beat up women and
men.
“They are the same people that were
eating with those oil thieves. They
came and burnt my house without
any reason. I am not involved in
what they are doing, so also others.
They burnt many houses and our
people have all left the community.
“The people doing this oil business
are not from here. They come from
other communities and states. When
we report the boys to the security
operatives, they will still inform the
boys who gave them the information
and the boys will go after such
person”, he stated.

He called on the Federal and state
governments to intervene in the
matter, adding that the community
has not resettled since the incidence,
as military men still visit the area at
intervals.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the 6
Division, Nigerian Army, Colonel
Charles Ekeocha, could not be
reached for confirmation. He neither
picked his calls nor replied to a text
message sent to his mobile phone

In another development, two persons
have lost their lives in Kpong

A community source, Emmanuel

sporadic shootings by suspected
cultists on Sunday, but could not
ascertain the groups involved.

The evil Nigerian Army got power only on innocent civilians in the south. They're so quick to burn down poor villagers homes in the guise of searching for criminals but if it's in the north, you won't see them. Ndi Ekpeye should not keep quiet. They should write a petition against this destruction on that community. When you close your mouth in the face of injustice, you empower the perpetrators.

So just to clarify: you, a citizen of an undeveloped country with a corrupt government(Nigeria) are willing to "roll the dice" and create a new country(Biafra) with a new government made up of the citizens of that same corrupt country that you hated, but you believe it will be different because all the problems that made you want to leave your original country were created by people of other tribes/religions.
I have a few questions,
1) if Biafra is created but becomes a failed state will you join a new separatist group and try to form yet another country ?
2) if Biafra succeeds who will be leader between Ralph Uwazuruike (MASSOB) and Nnamdi Kanu(IPOB)? it may be a stupid question but this is the same reason that south sudan has been at war since its creation in 2011.
3) Do you think the reason the FG is corrupt is because there are no Igbo's in a high positions, because if that is your opinion I have some bad news for you.
To answer your first question, Biafra can never be a failed country because Ndigbo love a better quality of life. Under Biafrans, we will control the economy of our country which will give us the necessary funds to plan and develop her as it should be. Do you see how APGA changed the narrative in Anambra state as against what was obtained during PDPs rule? That's just a sample of what Biafra portends. You know who formed APGA? The same person that championed Biafra. We don't ever see Biafrans failing.
For your second question, Biafrans will choose who will lead them and not who will rule them. Biafrans will decide... It's not the birthright of any of them to decide that they must be chosen. We have enough technocrats to guide us to development. As for South Sudan, I think they lack technocrats and are less exposed. We in Biafra have learnt from the failure of Nigeria and other bad examples. We've studied the success model of the Asian tigers who were not long ago on the same developmental level as us.
This is the response to the third question. The Nigerian government was rigged to fail right from the onset that's even why the first coup plotters struck. There was no unity of purpose by the three persons that spearheaded the push for independence. Go and watch Ahmadu Bello's belief about Ndigbo. He never believed we should share the same country with his people. He clearly said he preferred expatriates over Igbos to work in his territory. What's the interpretation of such a statement for an Igbo man in a Nigeria with his type? The problem was right from there but people like Nnamdi Azikiwe glossed over it thinking there was another way to solve it. It is exactly this mentality that Buhari has. See where Nigeria is today. I believe that if someone like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala or Soludo ruled Nigeria with a free hand, things would be better but the truth is that their has been crisis of desires for Nigeria from the far North. They can never be comfortable others are not under their control. Since they had the control of Nigeria for decades, why couldn't they fix her? They failed woefully yet won't allow others with better promises to try.
You see that with Igbos remaining in Nigeria, there's no hope for us, yet the north won't develop Nigeria. Why then should we remain? Simple question.

(The moment a war starts China and Russia will support NK and USA and Japan will support SK, it will be worse than any conflict in the middle east )
But I have a question: you really think Biafra, a newly formed nation with 2 factions: IPOB & MASSOB battling for power would be the SK in that situation.
Lol... Just imagine permutation. Biafrans are very intelligent and enterprising people. Nobody send party... All we follow is result. Biafrans when formed will be like South Korea... Well developed. It's a big shame bro. If only these youths realised the potential that Nigeria holds for them, even with all its flaws.

Nigeria is projected to become the THIRD most populous nation on earth after China and India by 2050.

To people who can reason, that means one thing and one thing alone. MARKET.

The 3rd largest consumer market on earth.

This country will be a MAGNET for investors from all over the world, in the coming years.

The present influx of Chinese, Indians, and others is just the beginning.

Soon it will be a flood.

These youths can position themselves to take advantage of this country's great promise if only they could shed their bitterness and unrealistic expectations.

In India nobody talks about politicians, or cares much what the govt is doing or not doing, even though there is serious govt corruption there. People there just get on with business.

In Nigeria, if some of these youths have not woken up and cursed Buhari or Lai Mohammed, or some other ethnic group, their day is not complete. It's unfortunate. Hope they can change and become more...independent.
Sometimes you wonder where people like this reside while making these comments. Do they really follow the news?

There's no incentive to motivate even the enterprising youth rather government policies are usually unfavourable to demoralize them. I could see the way he's rationalizing Okada business. This is the same business that a lot of governors have banned in their cities with such an oppressive stance that would make you cringe. The whole system is messed up. What remains is for the youth to attack the ruling class with all the fury they can muster. Isn't that similar to what happened in Mali recently?

Guess which idiiot said it??

That's right, Buhari the dullard!
He was talking about your father and mother back then, the same hatred for the poor has been passed to this generation

Once again you are a dumbass
I confirmed it long time ago. He's a conservative who believes the youth should just continue with the struggling they've been so accustomed to. They should just accept life the way it is in the evil contraption. It is the same mindset that led Nigeria to where she is today because his set failed to confront the problem those days. It's only fools who continues to repeat the same process that expects a different result. Nigeria needs a total shake down for anything meaningful to happen to the people within her geography. Most countries passed through that phase to become what they are today. USA fought a civil war and Abraham Lincoln handled the post war reconciliation excellently. The French had a revolution that gave the citizens their right. The South Koreans bled to have a democracy that their children are enjoying today. The Chinese leaders became so patriotic and developed a plan for their country after the citizens challenged them for decades. There's always a price for development to happen. Nothing like that is present in Nigeria. Non of the leaders have ever been patriotic. Everyone can see how some decievers we're trying to sell the Niger rail line as a good proposal because it will help Niger people to import from the Nigerian ports. One can easily deduce that the rail was meant for the benefit of another country on the surface level and indirectly for just one section of the contraption in such a way that put the other section at a disadvantage. It's selfishness and greed that has finished black Africans. They'll never support the challenging of a system if they're some how benefitting from it irrespective of how damaging it is to the general populace. This is why a high ranking Nigerian employee in a foreign owned company in Nigeria will assist in the dehumanizing of his fellow citizen just so he can remain in the good books of the company's owner.
