They should forgive and forget like nothing happened?

Only in Nigeria will an ex-president owe ordinary citizens an apology. Why is he even apologizing in the first place?

As a leader, there will always be actions and inactions but it is the responsibility of the masses to carry their cross and move on.

We'll always be cheated in this life. The earlier you know that the better for you as a human. It's called life but we sometimes call it harsh reality. Stop being naive.
Wow... Since it's like that, some people will fire a nuclear bomb on your locality. After all, some people would be cheated in life.

Tuffffiiiiiiaaaakkkwwaaaa!!!
See men being treated like slaves in their own country yet they still have the mouth to spite those who don't want to be part of that system.
You won't face the same thing in another country. The worst other country's police may do to you is to arrest you but beatings are not part of it. Even the arrest must be hinged on something legitimate but as soon as you're cleared of all doubt, they know they've to cut you loose. What a big shame!

you people are sincerely mad at that side

Yoruba are coward for staying put in Nigeria, now they come out, Yoruba are copying Igbo

you people have turned a secession into political rivalry again as you truncated first Nigeria Democratic settings

you Igbo need to speak to una self because I wonder what other southern can do to satisfy you confused people

anyway I buy the secession of Yoruba out of this Nigeria because this Nigeria failed many youths and those Agbero you see today in Yoruba land and maybe other places were result of a failed Nation

Hausa want to rule and dominate but others want development and accountability but these useless politicians got carried away easily with Hausa-fulani protection the reason why only North are allowed to be efcc boss

Buhari and his co illiterates believes Southwest is beginning to be tired of this failed state hence why OUK was pardoned to put their tent under Southeast

these clowns will continue to rule forever because of one of you senselessness
Don't mind that kid. Only simpletons turn a fight for freedom into a kindergarten competition. The goal has been freedom and it remains our focus. Every other side talk is a distraction.
May the Yorubas and other groups stand to their ground for their freedom too.
Politics › Re: Why Is SARS Brutalities Prevalent In The South? by Yujin(m): 9:46pm On Oct 04, 2020
chrisxxx:
The reason and the true reasons:
Most families in the North have at least a top officer in the armed forces. You don't threaten me with what I have in abundance. This is not the case in South where you see communities with no one even in the police as a constable.
South does not speak Hausa.
Police in the South fears Hausa language like hell. When next police stops you in the south even if you can speak English, use Hausa if you can. Even if the policeman doesn't understand Hausa and would prefer you speak English, insist as well you don't understand English. If that police man doesn't leave you because of fear contact me to know who born that police man.
My testimony:
I drive around my locality here with no stress by just saying 'Ranka Dede' to every police check point. I also use 'Salam Aleku' I don't even know the meaning. But it works like magic.
Temporary cure which will only worsen the situation in the future. If you have to speak the language of the oppressor to be free in your own ancestral land, then you're a conquered person and a slave. Tufiakwa.
Challenge the SARS like is done presently. Don't cower and subject yourself by feigning speaking his language.
Why are southerners this daft?

Kanu the man that deceived a whole tribe of intelligent men and women. The man that crashed the company he was employed in UK now think he's intelligent enough to know what it takes to lead.
Nnamdi Kanu is in the spotlight now. He can't afford to back track. Everyone in Nigeria is feeling the heat as the storm gathers pace over Nigeria. Nothing your likes do will sway the minds of our people as we've suffered the humiliation that's unquantifiable. Our mind is made up and freedom is the ONLY option.
Ponder about your own life and that of your people. You can choose to waste your time hating on Nnamdi Kanu anyway.

Lol. Quotasystem beneficiaries are not smart enough to distract our focus. Biafra is the goal... Any other engagement is a distraction. When the time reaches, let those who don't want Biafra vote against it or form their own country.

seunmsg:
I agree totally with Fashola. We cannot develop without building massive infrastructure all over the country. The only thing we got from the Obasanjo’s loan repayment is the accumulation of more loans by subsequent governments.

If the money that was used to pay off the Paris loan was used to build the Railway lines that Buhari is now building all over the country, we would have been more developed than we are right now.
What happened to the $16 billion OBJ used for the power sector? Is Nigeria now enjoying steady or even improved power supply? Make no excuses for failure. The loan repayment agreement that saw to the cancellation of a bigger chunk of it was a brilliant idea. Nigeria was not starved of funds because of that repayment. It even provided a clean slate for his successors to go borrowing again. Put the blame in the right quarters.

Don't speak about that conflict in a simplistic manner. When Russia joins, the tide will change. Turkey is openly backing Azerbaijan and even committing troops. You can see the French government telling Turkey that they're monitoring everything.
Try and find out the history of the particular territory in contention. The UN must understand the various complexities in territorial claims.

Read the handwriting on the wall. Oil is not a money spinner again. Whoever depends on oil to sustain governance will suffer untold hardship. Every company all over the world is downsizing at the moment. Nigeria won't survive it since she failed to utilize the decades of surplus money she made from oil. It's a new world we are about to enter.

Your former president Yar'adua is a tuareg from katsina. In Arewa we don't call them tuareg, we call them buzu (p. Buzaye) maybe you are more familiar with that.
Another lies... Tuaregs are not buzaye. There are millions of buzaye in Nigeria but they know they're not from Nigeria. The few tuaregs that managed to enter Nigeria are still not even visible... they still remain in the extreme arid region of the far north. Yar'adua is not a Tuareg. Chai, you want to deceive the ignorant lots of people here on nairaland simple because majority of them don't know much about the far north. I only pity southerners who think they have a country.

Admit your ignorance. I'm far from being proud and for you to say I'm proud and yet 'far from intelligence' confirms my earlier assertion. It is contradictory in this context. My advice to you is to put your mouth in what you know.
Finally, whether by education or by inheritance, endeavour to get intelligence. It's good you're literate and I can say educated. Try and go beyond both.

You are the one embarrassing yourself here, this shuwa Arabs I am talking about are nigerians like you and me
There are areas if you go in maiduguri that belongs to them. They are there long before white people set there foot Africa.

I also once visited a village in gumel, jigawa state and nearly all the villagers are tuaregs. You cannot go there and claim it's hausa or Kanuri land.

there are hausa people in sudan, but just because they are minorities there or much more darker than other tribes does not mean they are nigerians not Sudanese. And you also need to know that this shuwa Arabs and tuaregs are in this land even before the coming of fulani to hausaland.

There are thousands of tuaregs, el tamasheq and shuwa Arab baggara who are nigerians. So if we count them in our tribes you have no objection.

Beside this people are not strangers in some places in north. I have many shuwa Arabs as family members and friend. When I'm in zaria before I move to abuja, our neighbors are tuaregs. One of the most famous family in northern Nigeria (Baba Ahmed family) are tuaregs. Zulum Borno governor is half shuwa Arab and many more.
Lies... Tuaregs are never part of Nigeria but soon they will be added. No British historical record mentioned them. We know though that you desire to bring all of them into the north if that will give you the overwhelming edge you need. This is why I pity foolish Southerners who can't see the pattern. They're so short sighted. God forbid!

The world will be a better place if we live and let other creatures live except mosquitoes though.
No be chop mosquito and cockroach want chop? Though beautifully written, rats are undesirable and should be killed. They're designed to reproduce fast and recover.
Will you take a scorpion out and put in another place simply because it is it's nature to sting? You certainly won't because it may return and you may not be lucky again.
Most people don't kill bees and butterfly because they understand the role these insects play but same cannot be said for flies.
Rats are carriers of diseases coupled with the economic damage they cause. They are almost entirely undesirables.
