The seller probably got a better offer while the buyer was away. He just wants the buyer to either pay or ask for a refund if the new price is not okay with him. I don't see any wrong doing. Buyer should ask for a refund if not happy

It's all shade of wrong bro, when a business is concluded so be it, greed is bad for business. Even if he had a super offer and he sold his last stock, an honest business is first come first serve.

Make do with the next opportunity.

SwayG:
The highest is 20k.

I can't calculate how much in total I spent on my ex.
2k here, 10k here, 20k, 15k etc.

Altogether During our dating period of 16months I'd say I spent about 100k to 200k.
I regretted every dime I spent.
And I'm grateful i didn't spend too much on her needs cos they were enormous.

In all, she cheated on me repeatedly, followed the other guy and we broke up.
The guy was way way below me financially and in looks.

Funny thing was that I got a juicy international gig that changed my life the week we broke up, she had no idea.
I bought an iphone 11 pro max for her as a surprise. An upgrade to her itel andriod and her first iPhone. Thank God I hadn't given her before I discovered her cunning ways.
A month after we broke up I bought my first Car.

Since then I don leave woman Mata. No more doing that shit called dating. Imma hit them and go our separate ways immediately.

No room for emotional attachments or entitlement to my money.
When I see a wife material I'll know.

Keep deceiving yourself.

Is like you're new to this money thing, let me fast forward for you. E go tire you until you really find what to live for, nothing makes sense around plenty.

Moronic assertion.

Not everyone desires to steal very few do, I'm not encouraging stealing but you can never can tell what anyone can become when pushed to the wall.

Will you watch your parents who can't work and siblings who have been crying of hunger for two days die, can you do that?

If both state and federal government will see the interest of the citizens first, we shouldn't be here.

Politics / Re: N5.108trn In 8 Months: Hardship Unabated In States Despite Huge Allocations by Yusufisraelj(m): 4:53pm On Feb 26
NairalandForumo:
The increase in allocation doesn't really change much, I know some people will want to argue, but look at it like this, Nigeria placed a budget about 28trillion when the dollar was about 800naira.

Today the dollar is 1600, that means the value of that 28 trillion is half, what it means is that Nigeria might need 56 trillion naira to do what the 28 trillion could do at the time of the budget, then when you also add their normal corruption to it what will be left, so increase in state budget might not change much especially when the rate of inflation is faster than the increased allocations....

Nope, not entirely true.

Not all projects needs dollar for execution.

This your formula will work for CAPEX that requires import.

Atiku is a failure, Argentine oppositions are not sabotaging their new president like Atiku and Obi are doing. Argentina president dissolved and dismantled the Central Bank of Argentina due to corruption. Imagine Tinubu wanting to put an end to central bank and adopt another country's federal reserves, will Atiku and Obi not instigate crisis against him?. Argentina people are patriotic and do not wish for the downfall of their country, things are still very very hard yet they support their president.

Hear talk? What a criminal excuse! That's price gouging. Government should penalize them. Nigerian were thinking that the reason for the sharp increase was related to inflation or dollar scarcity. Which stupid increase in demand are they referring to? This is unacceptable plain and simple economic sabotage.

How does opening our land border give priority to "Almighty Dollar" ...

Is it that you don't know or you forgot Nigeria transacts with neighbouring countries in their local currencies before ....e.g to buy items from contonuo you convert to cepha and even ghana you convert to cedis, back then "dollar" didnt monopolize our market/economic

Before now Nigerian land borders were open, food items among other things were very cheap and Naira was more valuable than cepha or cedis but since we closed our land borders, what have gained

almost everything come in through the seaport that gives so much credence to dollar as means of payment

True you have a point, I've forgotten regional trade.

The challenge actually with opening the border is that local production will be relegated, a dangerous precedence.

This people are confused period

How are you reasoning at all, this is a very sensible move.

When you regulate food prices, you kill the incentive to farm and do business in agriculture, by doing so you kill the agricultural sector for good.

When you open the border for importation you give foreign exchange priority: Dollar might get to 5,000. The food prices will still be high and your agricultural sector will still be dead because at the end of the day some people will buy foreign rather than local.

This is how they confuse you. Instead of posting the entire conversation, they pick their own interpretation of half a statement and post as the entire news. Look at the body of that 'article'. No quotations to show the exact words of Putin. Nothing to indicate what the conversation is about or what Putin responded to. No source as to where and when he said so that people may verify and get context.

They don't open people's head to put propaganda Inside o. Many times, they just give you half or sometimes outrightly wrong information and allow you spread it like wild fire

Well said, sometimes I feel social media and even news networks can be very misleading.

They put traffic ahead of reason and truth.

Romance / Re: Why Is There Sometimes Traffic After Rainfall by Yusufisraelj(m): 10:23pm On Feb 15
Two in my opinion:

1. During heavy down pour people restrict movement, once the rain is gone, those who wanted to move earlier plus those wanting to move now hit the road. This only happens in crowded cities and along major roads that leads to work or home.

2. Poor drainages render some roads non-motorable at that point, so available roads along that axis becomes the choice and causes traffic, again for crowded cities.
Politics / Re: Petrol Landing Cost Hits N1,000/litre On FX Crisis by Yusufisraelj(m): 7:47am On Feb 15
nairalanda1:

IN 1973, due to the war between Israel and the arabs, oil prices went up, so the government brought in a subsidy on fuel...because the high oil prices made fuel become very expensive.

I know, but does it please logic that a country as rich as Nigeria and the vast oil reserves we have still imports fuel?

Shouldn't a government insist that we refine our own fuel and own the technology of refining?

It's really troubling and annoying.

A little study of the situation and why it persisted was because it was lucrative to few people to who had shares or kickbacks from the refining companies.
Politics / Re: Petrol Landing Cost Hits N1,000/litre On FX Crisis by Yusufisraelj(m): 7:39am On Feb 15
nairalanda1:
If one has been following this thing for as long as I have, you would see that we are paying a subsidy.

1.APC apologists cry that fuel is not being subsidised...well it is. Landing cost was N720 as at October, now it is N1000..meaning subsidy costs rose from N20-140 to N300-420 per liter today. We are pushing ourselves into more debt so see where we are

2.IN 2012 january, landing cost was N99 per liter, now it is N1000. Fuel price was N97 per liter now it is N580-720.

Assuming Nigeria kept fuel at N97 per liter as some PDP apologists wanted , by now subsidy would have risen from N2 per liter to N920 per liter ...and note that fuel consumption has risen over the years.

We would have a debt that would make our current debt look like the pocket money you give your 10 year old.

See how much subsidy costs? But all of you, be it PDP or APC or LP, many of you want it.

Oya, come and get your fuel at N97....lol.

MOdified

I find it amusing some people think I support APC because of this comment. APC is still paying subsidy, meanwhile I oppose payment of subsidy....so apparently I am an aAPC supporter.

See, I don't get NIgerians. Someone is supporting something that is in opposition to the party in power, yet is a supporter of the party.

I pray God opens your eyes to see what I see, all ye who quote me, then you will understand there is a method to my madness.

My brother, the issue here isn't even about subsidy, why was it in place from inception?

It goes to tell you that we as a country havent been patriotic from the get go.

NNPC is the useless organization here. The reason why countries that have no crude oil exploit us is they have brains and are patriotic.

NNPC is a company that has no rigs, cannot run refineries, cannot explore hydrocarbons, lacks expertise...this is why they have time to commit atrocities like paying subsidies, mortgaging our future crude oil earnings to pay subsidies, ruining refineries and so on.

NNPC does not not know how much crude oil is taken out of Nigeria daily by the IOCs. The NNPC business model is only known to NNPC and is exploitative of Nigerians. IOCs have exploited us because NNPC is incompetent.

No doubt NNPC is complacent in some areas, but your submission here reeks of gross ignorance.

I know spectacular engineers that understand the Ins and outs of oil and gas drilling, refining and product development. To come here and talk like this show's you do not know the industry one bit.

The major challenge in the oil and gas sector is the lack of indigenous technology on a large scale not competency.
