Has anyone paid their SEVIS fee from the UK?

knock out: . Well yvete in as much you are trying to help, watching ur language is very necesary..you might think you are being smart, but u dont know the damage u must have cost that guy.as for ur past infos u r doing a very good job providing solutions and probabilitis for peeps on here i really appreciate that..we all here wants to study in america the only reason why some make up story to help them cross the consular is cos there story might not be as sweet as the other guys story..even some who are applying has rich fathers some has traveled 2 american before, while has a very good job, not every one has that opportuinity...this is the first time i will be contributing on this thread i hope it helps some1 out dere my cousin just recieved his visa this week to go study at the same community college i applied to, the major factor in securing a vise is God and trust me no pastor can help u exept u talk 2 God ur self,
See me see wahala! I don't wish to dig up any dirt, but I feel the need to respond to you. Did I ask you not to attend the community college or imply that your Dad is not rich? FYI: As a smart lady, grin I transferred to a community college for 2 years to "keep extra change in my pocket". The primary reason I stumbled on this thread is because two of my cousins need help. Everything I know, I learned on here. If I know-it-all, I wont encourage Mamacita to read over 300 pages of this thread in its entirety from part 1! Why would I intentionally discourage someone else when I'm praying for the same visa for family? Note: Anything you post online (facebook, twitter, nairaland, youtube...etc) is up for maybe-not-what-you-want-to-hear responses.

Everyone talks about OPT, OPT, OPT. After my undergrad, I didn't even use it because someone told me how to get the H1B directly. If I didn't talk about it, would I know what to do? Swallow your darn pride and learn. Obviously, not from me.

I work in front of a computer from 9-5, and occasional boredom brings me to Nairaland so your success or delay has nothing to do with me. We're not friends and may never see each other so learn NOT to take things personally. Please don't discourage yourself in quest for undue respect.

Anthonymighty: Are you trying to say I am not genuine? I'm only scared of getting denied again because I was well prepared at my first interview. Now Listen to the way you answered my question with offensive sentences. Did you see how imperiouxx answered me? That's Maturity....u better grow up. I asked a question because I want to learn and not do the wrong thing so if you will answer me do that in a polite way else don't even go there. The question was directed to the gurus in the house and they know themselves not you. (No disrespect too) Cheers
Sorry that it upset you. The truth is what I stated and you know it. Since constructive criticism gets to your feelings "grown man", my bad! Maturity is when you get information and take the truth without sentiments. If you're this emotional on a faceless forum without heat, wow! My words shouldn't hurt you neither will yours and no one else on here.

If you would like to return to the Embassy a million times, ignore me and make yourself a guru cos I'm not. FYI: I'm not looking for a visa and the days of my student visa are long over likewise the days on a H1B. I listened and took advises. Each person's testimony is a lesson for others, hence, my participation on here. I'll mind my business.

Anthonymighty: Dear Imperioxx, kpoli and the rest gurus in the house. I want to ask a question, as you all know I am on the race to secure an F1 visa after being denied in September. I plan on scheduling my interview for November ending or 1st week of december. Now my question is: can I go to America via another visa type other than F1. There is a company that is going for a conference in first week of January and I was asked to apply if I want to join them. I don't know if its possible for me to go with them when I have already gone for an interview for F1 visa and was denied in september. Kindly advice me please. Because I think going with them (the conference)has positive % and assurance of getting the visa THAN going for another interview for my F1 by month end. I need your help and advices please.

Hi Yall,
This is an interesting thread. I'm currently pursuing a MS in Supply Chain & Logistics Technology in the US. Its nice that we can share ideas on how to improve logistics in Nigeria irrespective of lack of adequate infrastructure.

elkharpone: dahs true would love if you could gimme some info
There is nothing relevant that has not been mentioned on here from Part 1. Since you're going for a BS in Health science, make a personal objective link on your study plan to your future plan in Nigeria. When did you finish high school? Do you have any gaps? Close it with relevant info. Remember that there is no substitute for preparation. So prepare well for all aspects of the interview.

If you provide pragmatic evidence pointing to reasons for return, they will have no reason not to grant a visa.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part3 by Yvete(f): 6:51pm On Nov 06, 2012
Mamacita & Dr.Slip

You can use either the original report or a printed copy. Some people had to explain to the VO that they had not received the original report from ETS at the time of the interview and still got the visa. If you've got the original, take it with you and don't worry about the percentile graph. My GRE was just as bad and not a true test of my ability grin grin I Swear!

Can't wait for Spring testimonies to start rolling in ..... countdown ......

You've been on this thread for a minute bro. It will be shameful if you show up unprepared. Ask questions if you need any clarification on anything. Good luck!

imperiouxx: ^^^ RISKY FOR YOU AND THE GUY
You're right! Anyone can put 'stuff' in the bag. That's true. Before the guy in Lagos agreed, my cousin had to open the envelope and he carefully looked at the school transcripts, sponsor statement and admission documents before he brought it so he knew what it was for.

Mamacita's cheap a$$ didn't want to spend money. grin Sorrrrrry
