@ poster, I dont support snatching a friend's g/f or b/f but in ur case ur friend acted wrongly. He even said the girl was a prostitute and now he's angry and jealous that u ended up with the 'prostitute' and that u both make each other happy. Be careful because this kind of friend will wanna sleep with ur wife later on or cause confusion btw the both of u cause he seems bitter. He wanted u to only eff the girl but it backfired. He didn't realize that one can meet their life partner thru many ways/situations. Pls dont treat this girl badly, be faithful to her, treat her like a queen and she will do the same to u. Lastly, dont listen to this friend of urs advice esp. since uve confirmed that God blessed u with a nice lady. Be happy with ur love and dont let her ever cry again except for joy. @ topic, in most cases guys that are pathological liars are those that claim that women like men that are liars. I know a guy that says that Nigerian girls in Nigeria like men that are liars but obviously he was only a liar defending his pathetic behavior with a silly reason.

@ Davidylan ure so right about couples being free with each other. Couples are supposed to talk to each other freely without the fear of one giving the other the 'eye'. Some people make a great deal out of nothing. I can't comprehend y the guy was ticked off when he was told to carry his (their) own baby at the back. He should've done that without being told. Its his baby for crying out loud. He was told to carry his baby and not a monkey .

If ur friend's dad curses him its not gunna come to pass cause he did nothing wrong to his dad. He should tell his mom so that she would approach her husband herself. This is one of the reasons y some Nigerian women should learn to be independent by taking some necessary measures cause marriage is not all about cooking, washing and taking care of family. U gotta let a man esp. one like the cheating guy know that u may love him but u also have a life. Since he's cheating she should move out of the house if she cant take it (lots of diseases out there) or get a cute and nice boyfriend instead of trying to make 'peace' so that her husband wont be angry with the kids. Tell her to get a life cause happiness is priceless. Since her husband decided to be happy his own way, let her get hers her own way. But, if she will be happy being or acting naive then her kids should let her be. I just hope she doesnt contact AIDS. Well, who knows, by now the guy is prolly not gunna be touching her talk less of making love to her. By now they may not share the same room nor the same bed cause the guy is likely to see her as a 'plague'.

@ Busta, I see your point about parents not flogging their kids abroad but I remember when my mum used to flog the living daylights out of my younger bros. She doesnt beat him for every little thing he does ie she knew when to use the negative or positive reinforcement and when to beat the shit out of him.

Poster, flog your child if he/she uses such words esp. if u used to correct him not to say such words in the past, ground him/her etc. But, I hope they didnt learn it from the adults at home.

To the dude that said that guys rarely date girls that they buy gucci slippers for on their first date, thats not true. Before I started dating my boyfriend he bought me a very expensive gift and we're still together. I believe some ladies have experienced the same too. If a guy can afford gifts I dont see why giving them to a lady will prevent him from dating her.

Personally, I love receiving flowers. My boyfriend sends them to me a lot of times and I leave them in a jar on my window sill or on my table. I think its a lovely gesture but sending me flowers a lot of times doesnt prevent him from showering me with gifts and affection which I also reciprocate .

I pity some women in Nigeria that are married to some "American" husbands ie Nigerian men that live abroad but at the same time sleep with almost every woman that they come in contact with. These "American" husbands travel once or twice a year to sleep with their wives in Nigeria that keeps on having babies. A lot of them believe that their "American" husbands will take them to the US when in reality only a few get to come to the US.

I was arguing with someone this morning on the issue of women building houses on their family land in the village. The guy I was discussing with was trying to convince me that a woman cant build a house on her parents land esp. if she has brothers. When I asked him why and what the woman should do if she has a useless and irresponsible brother that cant build a house for their parents, he told me that the woman should give some money to the "irresponsible and useless" brother to build the house but at the same time supervise the construction of the house. To him, its a taboo that a woman dares to build a house on their family land in the village. He says that a woman can build a house wherever she wanted but not at her parents land in their village. I told him that I thought the main reason for building a house in the village would be to shelter his parents and not debating whether the house should be built by a man or a woman. I couldn't understand the difference btw a woman building a house in her village and somewhere else. I was so mad at his level of thinking that he had to calm me down cause I was "debating-screaming". Later on, he reasoned with me and accepted that his previous standpoint was weak. It was irritating. I just told u this example to calm u down cause at times u wonder at the level of some people's reasoning.

I have a lot that I eat and they are mutton, beef, pork, fish, lobster, shrimp, scallop, crab, and chicken(my least favorite except when cooked to be yum o). My friend gave me snail and I liked it. I heard alligator tastes like chicken so I may try that some day when I muster enough courage.

My favorite ice cream flavors are: mint chocolate chip, all kinds of ice cream mixed with caramel or just caramel by itself (by Haagen Dazs), pistachio, strawberry shortcake, cheese cake, raspberry cheese cake, rum raisin, and toffee. But the orgasmic one that I love is creme brulee. Whoa! that stuff is banging . I recently had the Haagen Dazs's sticky toffee with pudding and it was yum o. I wunna try their bailey irish cream flavor. I once saw that in a store and it looked VERY attractive .

I also like sherbets of all flavors .
