Good evening daddies and mummies .

I just beat my 2-year old son with a belt(beat him on his bum bum) .After beating him,I asked him to go inside the room and lie down while I off the bedroom light and locked the door .I discovered he was breathing so fast on the bed when i checked two minutes later .He was crying and keep banging the bedroom door for us to open.He kept on crying .So,i have to tell his mum to carry him and pet him.

When i went to sitting room to pick something ,he didn't even want to come near me .He kept on dragging his mum cloth thinking I still want to beat him .Infact,he refused to come to bedroom .He cried and keep telling her mum to put her down when she was about entering the room with him.

He is fond of throwing spoon, pencil, cups, plates ,biscuit, cup, plates and tonight ,he threw a water plastic at me and that hit me on my eye and I felt so much pain .So,I had to beat him that much .He is asleep now .

I just want to ask if it is right to beat him at that age or what other measure can we adopt to discipline him?We used to talk to him and sometimes ,he says sorry when he notices he have done something wrong .
This is quite incoherent.

Initially it was a boy, later she...

Did she say anything about d man taking care of her child with his resources? Or love now translates to money to you people? A man loving her kid now translates to him caring for d child with his resources?

She's a package deal, if you ain't cool with that, bounce.
You know you are lying but continue.

How can the man say he loves the child without his finance and goodwill being extended?

Thanks so much
Is there any chance you will reconcile with the father of your child in the future?

That's why people are asking question about him.
If he's still alive, he might approach you with tears flowing and knowing how emotional women are, where does it leave the current husband?

Truth is: No matter the love a man has for you. No man will want to build his future on a shaky foundation.

It's a 50:50 chance. Some might call it delayed doomsday.

Thanks on your view. Although I don't want too many discussion/drama in the direction you're going on this post
I am not vulnerable, self pited, desperate or lazy young woman looking for a man to shoulders all my problems.
Sorry about that. I know and believe there's someone out there who wouldn't mind to willingly offer what I stated above. Besides, it's just one person I'm looking for. Happy Sunday
That's what I'm talking about. God will bring your heart desires to fruition.

You said you are setting up your business and upgrading yourself.
In that case, if you are truly looking for love, don't put your child in of the conditions for someone to love you(to avoid stories of he hates his step child or the real father has been disturbing my marriage).
Take care of your child through your business and if he loves the child along the line fine if not fine too. Look for love for yourself alone and let the lover know you have a child and not with condition to love your child also.
It seems op knows what she wants. She made the choice to post her desire: she wants someone that will love her and her child.

Why try to tell her to separate herself from her child or to hide her feelings of wanting someone that cares for them.

As a matter of fact I admire people like op who know what they want and are not afraid to go for it. They are the go getters.

So don't come here and give her that Naija mentality of women suppressing their desires which can be frustrating as it's very clear she's an emancipated woman.

It doesn't. At least in Nigeria. I have 2 masters degrees. However, I proceeded to do my PhD as I couldn't get a job.
You didn't mention that it also depends on your field or course.

A course you finished bachelor's degree and couldn't get a job. What makes you think that deepening it would mean anything?

Did you create any job?

Since growing up I have always been accustomed to the idea of double up my degree.
Not like it's a bad thing but what purpose does it serve to run a Masters or PhD program in the long run.

My Dad is always telling me to do one program here and there. It gets tiring honestly as I don't consider myself an academic per se and I would only put in effort when I see something is absolutely necessary.

A cousin of mine once went to the UK for her masters, previously working at a brewery. She told me that going for this program would guarantee her an upgrade in department level

Has anyone here gotten any similar experiences, share your story or those you know of. Were you ever selected for a job based on that or a promotion?
You didn't mention the country.

Sorry about this bro...

240000/30 days= 8,000 per day, so counting 3 days per week for 3 weeks, meaning you worked 9 times in a month, hence,

8000*9= 72,000

But 70/100 * 72000= 7200*7= 50,400 (might be wrong though)

Or you worked 2 weeks (6 days from home)

8000*6= 48000

70/100*48000= 4800*7= 33,600

However you can count your losses and move on. It would be a waste of time even if you involve a lawyer, coz the lawyer would be bribed

. See this situation
See how you are disgracing yourself all over Nairaland.
