Primetech where art thou? You are our costain recommender in-chief. If you're not out to mislead, present your costain case now.
stockbull:
i dont always go with clear contrast between the idea of fundamentally strong and weak companies because there's no collective parameters or components of financial stability set aside as standard measure to justify a company being strong or not;therefore,it's subjected to perception, the analyst's knowledge and experience and philosophy as per,how the company should manage its resources to increase productivity and also, the understanding of the nature of the company's business, their policies, government's policies towards the sector in which the company operates e.t.c in predicting the prospective impacts these would make(usually known as future growth).
With the aforementioned,i could say costain is not fundamentally strong compared to other stocks that are better.

No, not about writing exactness. But I have seen his posts on other threads and he sounds really schooled, unlike the way he posts here that made Madam B vent that "he's no product of any educational system".

Anyway, for me, I have learned to associate Bishops Ihedi's posts with John Okafor (aka Mr Ibu) of Nollywood. grin grin grin Pardon me, I just can't help that imagery.

#I won't be surprised if na Mr Ibu is, in reality, our dear Bishop. Hehehe grin

I must admit he must have left something out in the bolded. But most times we capture his message.
This place is not about writing exactness.

Sir, u stated a fair point. Remember, both UBA and Access did right issue then...

UBA Current O/S 32,981,387,566 + Rights Issue =

Access Current O/S 22,882,918,908 + Rights Issue =
Fine, but uba rights was scanty. And uba was much stronger in Q1 earning.
If the trend continues in Q2, look for me in the uba flight.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 2:47pm On Jul 01, 2015
People should just remember that access has 8b odd shares to list, arising from last rights issue. This will weaken its EPS and peharps embolden a stock like uba to finally surpass it in unit price. In fact, besides the general market condition, this may already be contributing to the weakening of the stock, as speculation is a forward looking affair.

Not sure I get it. When you take profits after, say a 25% increase and a trader who mistimes the market buys from you hoping to realize some gains only for the market to take a sharp turn. If he ends up taking a haircut, what word would you prefer to use in place of misfortune? cheesy
Anyway, aside NSEMPA, there's nothing brotherly about the stock market. Eat or be eaten. It's survival of the smartest. cry
Even in nsempa, we enjoy quips, banters and the chit-chats, and yet go on and mercilessly dump overpriced and sometimes even sickly monkeys on each other grin

But what is the business of costain? Is it a going concern? When last did they file a quarterly result? Ehn?
Forget about its recent price activity. Afroil was performing too, until it was discovered it had no office address!
Okay, costain yard is well known in lagos, but, operation wise, what exactly is happening there? I know you want us to jump into your costain bus without asking qestions. But that is how people enter 'onechance'.

Skye is still looking for whom to make rich. Looking at today's closing, I wonder what will happen if it posts a Q2 eps of 80k in a few weeks.

You were singing the costain to yourself as far as i'm concerned. Next time, if you really want to tip off BnsiTL, drop a clue as to what is brewing. You don't expect people to jump into your bus just for shouting costain, what if you're one chance, or a monkey dealer? grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 12:09pm On Jun 02, 2015
Scarcity is refuelling the vono bus. It has only 560 mln OS, hailf of which is already held by vitafoam. So there are only about 200mln units available for general scrambling. I wonder if its going to 3.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 11:37am On Jun 02, 2015
Even if skye should end up with 24b OS as you suggested, it will still be minimal relative to other tier 1 banks, all of which have 30b and above OS. Dilution from last capital raising took accessbank's OS to 30b if I'm not mistaken. But knowing the skye management-they don't like outsized OS from time-and if they are lucky with market condition, they will find a way to wrap it up at sub 20b OS, making skye(+mainstreet) a monstrously cheap mega bank.
passwelle:
Sir, I am not sure we are discussing the same thing. The outstanding number of shares is what I commented on. The balance sheet has absolutely nought to do with the dilution of the outstanding shares of Skye if they eventually raise the 30bn needed through rights/issuance of new shares.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 11:17am On Jun 02, 2015

Do you think fidelity will buy keystone? It seems they are stingy bidders, always outbid.
cornwall:
It is exciting to see that Vono and Costain have begun to rally, and for good reasons.

The minute I heard there was a merger between Vono and vitafoam, I understood that it was more of an acquisition by vitafoam. And I promptly bought into Vono.
Interestingly I would point out some stocks which are at the moment indicating immediate bullish signals and suggest you have them in your portfolio right away!
Fidelity bank
Nahco
Conoil
PZ
And yes Oando

Keep a close eye on these other ones so that immediately there is the opportunity of a bullish rally u won’t hesitate;
Wemabank
