SKhanmi:You must be very very very very very smart for posting this. So smart you are smarter than the Chinese, Americans, Germans, Russians and even the South Africans whom are working and striding towards a light speed Internet service made possible by 5G pipelines. Please where have you been all this while when Nigerians needed someone to draw them back while the world kept moving forward? |
I have one word for this excuse of a crap. A phone that couldn't be called a midrange in 2016, nor innovative in 2014. "Cubot max 2." |
The fact that you xiaomites don't know this is a transission propaganda amazes me. I warned these tecno, infinix and itel premature markets years ago when they were murmuring about xiaomi being illplaced and unequipped enough to handle the Nigeria market and made all sorts of nefarious claims about how xiaomi can't sell the same price online if they come into the Nigeria market officially. Fastforward to now, transission has lost not only her fiddle minded patriots, even the technologically misinformed patronizers of these poorly assembled devices have gone the xiaomi way. The result of a frustrating transission marketers is what you see now. Anything xiaomi can't handle, can a transission device handle it? Yet a deluded individual is preferring to sink with transission as the solution to an ambiguous unverifiable deductions at best about a xiaomi redmi note 7 pro equipment with a gen soc of a powerhouse as high as sd 675. |
MrStealYourGirl:Wrong analysis, wrong conclusion. Show me a 60k tecno, infinix or itel device that is better than a xiaomi of 35-40k and I promise to buy the tecno phantom 9 and do the review on nairaland. *pwaaaah*. Didn't want to compare infinix s4 of 3gig ram to the xiaomi redmi note 7 pro. I had the opportunity of comparing it to a Samsung A2 core. I was amazed at how people can be so wasteful and careless with their hard earned money. Buying anything transsision is just taking your hard earned cash and setting it on fire, then sprinkle the ashes on your bald head. |
samyd1:Stay away from tecno, infinix and itel. |
henryobinna:What has education got to do with personal opinion? Or are you saying the educational institutions of Nigeria should have shaped the opinion of every Nigeria to align with your sentimental dilutions? How some Nigerians think is beyond ignorance, shifting to every irresponsible and guilty part at any turn, as if the government is responsible for the no love at their childhood. |
YesNo:Sad. Go back to the store you purchased it from. |
YesNo:A mistake is when you do something without proper knowledge. What you did wasn't a mistake, it was plain...... I can't put the word. But hopefully you get the response you deserve, to be fair nobody deserves to be treated the way carlcan't and transission do towards Nigerians. The first time I went to carlcan't, a bricked device spent a month and two days to fix. So when you see comments on nairaland discouraging you from colluding with transission. It's not a nightmare tale, it's the painful truth. And when you still ignore these warnings and heed to self-destruct, it's not a mistake. It's brainwash or...... Sadly, as we dey talk somebody who frequent nairaland go don go buy tecno or infinix or itel... Anyway, nairaland no dey full. We are here, we will be praying for you all going to transission. |
Matent:Well spoken sir. To add, Google bought into android and was never the initial developer. Welcome to Nigeria, were we expect everything to work, without actually working to make it work. When xiaomi started, especially in nairaland here, so many trassision markerts were all over condemning the movement, and damning anyone who dare to go the xiaomi way. Today, it's xiaomi to the world, redmi to Nigerians. Not even transsision that has been here for ages can compete with them. Symbia, bb, ios were here before android. But it's android now. Two things that failed previous os. They weren't open source, they only certify apps that were developed under their inspection. Huawei's route. An already existing app store to tackle play store, while making provision for their new apps and also supporting android apps. An extensive and creative range of underpaid devs who are already working with huawei as early as 2013 preparing for this or any such occurrence as it is now. The new huawei os would have placed Nigerians in a position to grow with something but as always. A lot of Nigerians want to earn but not to work. |
nosiebaba:I don't want to be rude or wicked, but na im good for you. Una no wan hear. Keep going the infinix, tecno and itel way. And *carlcan't* won't stop abandoning you people. |
webizone:Na wa for this kind statement oh. So you are saying just staring at an article on a site because you have a broadband of 5G tunnel you would be losing data. Who even deprive you of taking your claims to the Internet for verification purpose? Anyway you are here. Make I try to explain. In a simple form. Edge> 1gig file= 4days to download. 3G> 1gig file= 2hrs to download. 3.75G> 1gig file= 1.20hrs to download. 4G> 1gig file= 15mins to download. 4+> 1gig files= 8-10mins to download. 5G> 1gig files = 2secs to download. Opening an article or a site without flash content or animated gif, site size 17mb. 3G= data used 21mb, possible reasons = data loss, site server slowing down due to delayed data receiver, device network system restart during data processing. 3.75G = data used 21mb, likely cause = site server lagging, device network system slowing down due to lengthy data reception. 4G= data used 16.9mb, possible factors = higher networking reception, faster data processing capacity. 5G= data used 16mb = awesome data processing speed. Speed of light. In other words, the birth of 5G is the same reason 3G came to takeover Edge. Time is money, while spend an hour to do a job that can be done in 10 minutes. |
GeorgeTheCoder:Your statement sha. Where in the world did you get your information from that says subscribers pay for companies to be established or for already established companies to improve their services? Who paid for mtn's 4G? So you know, mtn is already working on a 5G service that has been tested in SA because the Nigeria government was uninterested in making any form of contributions to enable that preliminary artificial 5G broadband to be tested in Nigeria. When you wan talk about Nigeria, separate the noun from "poor". Because Nigeria is neither poor nor her citizens poor, stop selling this beautiful nation short to the outside world. Na the mentality say Nigeria poor, na im the few privileged ones dey use as excuse to extort foreigners and in turn print an image in the mind of others that says everyone in Nigeria is criminally oriented. You dey read a post wey dey talk of Chinese government giving license and support to 5G aspiring brands, yet you wan blame subscribers or use am as excuse for future reasons to deprive Nigerians from enjoying the best they deserve. |
Blastedholligan:Na here infinix marketers and brand producers be like "Ha.... Haba... You no go take the cameras and waka your own.... Buy if you wan buy, no come dey open bottom for here" |
It appears the complainant is unsure of what he is saying. Other than his words no evidence to show or prove he bought any device or tecno device. |
mahkanjuh:A wise word. Am glad there is someone out there in Nigeria, who bears this burden. Instead of seeing the fault and failures in every endeavour, time to endeavour to venture for solutions. |
kingjizzy2:They should put the 10k into their company and start making good phones for Nigerians instead of publicising faulty and neglected phones with inferior phone parts. Otherwise, they should convert the 10k into profit from no sales on their p33 devices. |
OlaSalo:Sorry to hear buddy, hopefully the phone is fixed. And thank goodness it wasn't fatal. |
Egypt ![]() Really..![]() |
samsam2019:Typical situation with infinix, tecno and itel publicizers; none of them buys/uses the said phones but you see the same people who are clueless as to the normal operations of these devices advising others to buy these ungodly products. |
Infinix, itel and tecno killing Nigerians since time in memoriam. The worst phone I have used was the tecno r7. The phone I will never advise anyone to buy are these: Itel all brands. Infinix device with less than 3gig ram and cost above 45k. All tecno brands. Elephone. |
Samsung m30... 5000mah... |
lx3as:The xiaomi am talking about is the xiaomi that has a dedicated technical team that takes care of her software and hardware issues, xiaomi devices have the highest number of custom made enhancement. The only company that has dual rom system; [Chinese and global] The same xiaomi that is constantly sending patch, security and software update to her devices including the 6years+ old mi3, the same xiaomi that has an open beta programme that allows special set of customers to test their unofficial roms and android updates before sending it to thier global device. The same company that just decided to split its midrange brand from her highend brand. Well, since you said "believed to" without any specific verification to this belief, hence the above points I stated so you can be rest assured xiaomi has one of the best customer service globally, locally[China] and internationally. They are not third in the world behind Samsung and apple because they ignore their customers complaints. They are not the highest selling brand in India because they have improperly made devices. They are not the most sort brand here in nairaland because nairalandians are very rich so they don't care about wasting their hard earned money on fragile devices made by xiaomi. Xiaomi is sailing high because don't compromise in quality or service, but in profit and returns. They succeed were other brands struggle. They currently are enlarging their stake in India by introducing their electronics and have structures in place to carter for a new plant in India. If xiaomi was believed to be any of these things then they cannot be any of these things I claimed, except my claims are a lie. |
Itzneowizy:Show me any comment talking about tecno or infinix before you made your accusations or why you had to mention tecno and make claims you can't verify or backup with facts. Yet you are saying it's controvertible... Its either you are dumbfounded by your own claims or you just had to show your grief that the op didn't even make mention of your useless phone brand tecno, unfortunately for you, you meant someone who is willing to enlighten you in ways that will brighten your shaded part that has been darkened by mediocrity and wayward sentimental attachments. |
Itzneowizy:It's obvious your point is pointless seeing the person who got the point you made is the same person who brought the one thing you weren't talking about into the conversation. |
Itzneowizy:I think you are forgetting two important facts. Xiaomi is a global brand made in China. Xiaomi is an internationally recognised mobile phone manufacturer who went to India against all odds, did not only managed to subdue the local brands in India but in less than 4years, xiaomi has over 180 offline stores in India and currently ranked 3rd in the world. The same country tecno, infinix and itel are in but are only recognised when airtel is doing promo. Now two things you should consider. 1)Xiaomi is not in Nigeria yet, but she has over 32% shares of midrange mobile market here in Nigeria with her fans also her customers. Unlike tecno/infinix/itel whose fans are the marketers but none of them uses the so called devices they encourage others to wastefully purchase. 2) Xiaomi is the five most sold mobile brands in China the same country that is the origin of tecno/infinix/itel yet those brands can't be compared to the least phone brand in China [doogee]. Meanwhile, who go open eye see xiaomi then opt for any of the inferior, overhyped, overuseless, overwasting of funds devices from tecno? A lazy youth. |
Jimgym:What is your definition of "overrated" and "overhyped". Because it seems you jumped into a conversation and became a decider over a deliberation you had no idea of, but sentimental and irrational claims engulfs your entire statement. To be plain, the only person who knows nothing of the comments made or stated is you. |
Itzneowizy:All you did was made an already established facts known, then admonish prejudice against the same xiaomi brand and her fans that you claim to be doing the same to a group of companies that are extorting Nigerians. So because tecno brought android into Nigeria, Nigerians should bow and worship tecno? Godforbid, show me something better than xiaomi and its a change of choice. |
udemzyudex:most high |
No wonder infinix marketers are growing grey hairs. Until they grow white and purple hairs infinix won't adopt sense. |
Realboygenius:I have a friend whose tecno phantom 6 plus got smashed by her daughter and the screen got bad in 2017 few months after it was launched. It took 3 months to get it fixed by carl care. I remember back in those days when my tecno m3 got bricked, it took carl care a month and two days just to get something as simple as a rom flash done. My xiaomi redmi 5 plus got a cracked screen due to collision, it took 3 days to get the screen to Nigeria. And it was fixed 2 days later by an engineer here in my city. Carl care is as useless as nepa/phcn or whatever they now bear in Nigeria. To reaffirm the already stated facts, any Nigerian who spends a peny on tecno, infinix or itel products is an illiterate to development in mobile technology, a jobless youth... Quote me if you need verification of any of these information posted above. |
