RomanceRe: Dating In London Can Be Difficult by Zi:
Dalai:
I am a 27 year old male living and working in London. Many of my friends back home in Nigeria are now married. I desire something as such as well, but the issue is that, it is pretty difficult - if not near impossible - to meet the type of person I will love to date and probably go on to settle down with, here in London. The type of person - career focused, family aware, strong Nigerian roots- but not stereotyped, religious- but not crazy about it, desires the basic fun things in life like travelling, salsa, adventure - is almost non-existing here in London. I do socialize a lot, and it drives me nuts that you only ever meet a Nigerian lady once in every 20 or 30 social outings. I know in the UK, there is a tendency for people to withdraw and live a convenient but antisocial 9-5 lifestyle. Which brings me to the crux of my entire rant, two questions for UK folks:

1) What is your experience with meeting and dating other Nigerians in the UK
2)How best does one improve his chances of meeting and dating other Nigerians in the UK

Lol. Just exactly what I'm passing through now, although my relationship is older by one month grin

OP, I understand what you are going through, trust your instincts just like me. Every lady no matter how born-again has an emotional part and her man should fill it. If you feel he is not satisfying your emotions, "that he is not there", take a break. Don't try too hard, don't force it. if he is yours, he will come back for you. If he is not, trust me, someone better is on the way.

Don't compromise your virginity. I have no regrets. My older friends/mentors have no regrets too. Maybe he is taking advantage of your naivety so that you will succumb to him.

I am advising you based on my own experience.
The Lord is our strength smiley

Bring out your phone, take as many videos and pics as possible. Try talking to him, asking him questions. Obviously, someone that is drunk will be talking incoherently. You now have enough evidence.

Take it from there.

Looking @ that pix, a lot of question comes to mind.

Where are their parents or they are just good only @ squirting semen into the ma's?

Why are all the children looking @ the camera man behind them?

Why are they seated facing the gutter and not the wall that is supposed to be a board?

If you argue that the question above is because of the sitting posture, where then does the teacher stand to teach them?

What did their past Northern brother leaders do for them?

Why did they refused to enroll in the almajiri school built for them by GEJ's administration?

Poor kids. Smh.
You are an intelligent fellow

FamilyRe: Should Parents Barge Into Their Children's Rooms? by Zi:
Hahaha. OP you just made me remember growing up. My dad always came to peep in our room, like he was hoping to catch us in one crime or another. Even when we play cards, ludo etc, he will just open the door in ghost mode and peep.

We hated it (still do) but my dad was pro at it until one-day, I decided to tell him, "Mr, we are no longer babies in this house". Lol

It happened that I was changing sanitory towel on the cupboard beside the room door. Maybe instinct, but I knew he was coming to peep as usual. So I positioned the used one strategically kiss while fiddling with the nylon of the new one. And yes! He came and peeped. I held on a few seconds before I turned and gave him this horrible stare!

That was it! Done!

Funny thing is: I told my siblings that "Dad will never peep at us again", they waited for some weeks before hailing me "isi okpukpu" cheesy. We still joke about it till date.

I love MTN for this WWTBAM because it rewards human intelligence not only dance show, music, comedy etc

It will make sense of other organisations take cue from them - Essay and Article writing, Debating, Brainstorming/Quiz shows etc, and the winner would be rewarded.
Lol. Not every organization will reward the same thing. Some reward intelligence, others talent, yet others, beauty, so every member of the society can fit in. Its called diversity.
