Not surprising. I'm sure that babies are born without fear. The adults are the ones that instill it in children. IMO though

MTN BIS of N1500. Unlimited data download. This is one reason I love blackberry. Such small amount nd I can download Gigs upon Gigs. Mtn's network can be frustrating sometimes though.

Mahatma Ghandi: what will be the outcome of this debate if it eventually holds ?, what benefits does it have for the common man ?, who are they to be giving ultimatums ?, was our beloved oby not in govt at a time ? what change did she make in the life of the common man ?, are there no members of the opposition in the current government ? What changes have they been able to effect at least in their own little way ? a public figure that stands for justice, fairness and probity is usually not hard to spot, especially in Nigeria, where such people are almost extinct, even CNPP themselves are up to no good, They seem to forget that “Equity delights to do justice and not by halves”

All we want is accountability regarding the funds of the country. Our leaders will sit up when we start asking relevant questions such as the questions that Oby has put up.

Jakumo: Well I am two hundred yards from the Presidential Bunker right now, and I can tell you authoritatively that His Excellency and his elite bodyguards are giving VERY good account of themselves, even as the attacking forces repeatedly lay siege on The Bunker with waves of Kamikaze motorcyclists, paparazzi photographers, area boys and hired policemen.

The explosions you are hearing in the background began three hours ago, yet the President continues to maintain his grip on power, and has been relaxed enough to grant press interviews in between exchanging fire with the invaders, whose dead now litter the street here.

Wait a minute, a helicopter just lifted off under a hail of small arms fire. They didn’t connect with it. No explosion. The bird is gone. Just where is The President at this time? Your guess is as good as mine. Am I going to continue this breathless coverage of the unfolding battle? You bet your station sponsors I am.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: What Do You Think About Jobberman ? by zibe(m): 11:33am On Jan 22, 2013
opeawo:

The posts are not free everywhere. 80% of the jobs on Jobberman are not advertised anywhere else. This is because Jobberman has invested into establishing relationships with companies and encouraging them to put their positions out there for FREE. All this is in the interest of jobseekers so they can have access to more opportunities and increase their chances of getting a job.

Hmm. You encourage companies (who obviously have money) to advertise for vacancies on your site FREE of charge, and tell the jobseekers who do not have money, to pay for these vacancies. Smh.

Meanwhile, create an avenue for graduate trainee roles to be free.

I'm sure these countries don't set up irrelevant committees for everything, or say "prayer is what the country needs" while looting the country dry, or even mix religion with politics, and I'm pretty sure basic amenities and health issues are top concern for their governments, instead of passing worthless bills. just saying.

Religion / Re: Is Eating And Drinking At Burials Part Of Christianity by zibe(m): 12:13pm On Jan 13, 2013
Burial in Nigeria is a communal thing and traditional thing.

People come from very far distance to attend the burials (Relations, in-laws, friends of relatives, etc). Even though it isn't a must to entertain these people, the family of the deceased would wanna thank the relatives and friends and friends of relatives...etc, for coming. And the only way they can do this the Nigerian way is to feed them.

I feel one can organise a burial where people are not invited, just the immediate family members, if they don't wanna spend, or don't have the money for it. The main thing is to mourn the deceased.
