I don't think the leaders you are referring to are illiterate by any measure. Check their bios and you will discover that they are very well educated both home and abroad and well exposed. Best way to remove subsidy is in phases. Remove certain percentage quarterly and use the money gained for all to see. Removing all at once is like drowning a child because you want him to own a swimming pool. He may not live to swim in it

This is the only reasonable approach. While doing this, deal with the corrupt people assumed to be benefitting the subsidy, ensure local refining as well. Fuel price should have moved from 185 to say 220 per liter first.

Take the issue of repairing the refineries. Remember Kachukwu (former minister of petroleum) staked his reputation then that the refinery under his watch will start working in 2 years also.

With all news coming from CBN, can we really afford to continue with trying to defend the naira? As a matter of fact, if we even get the dollar component right, the subsidy removal will resolve itself. If the dollar takes a consistent value for about 1 year, then industries can plan better but when today it is 800, tomorrow it jumps straight to 850 and now even 805 then all the permutations goes out of the window.

For me, it is the dollar part that worries me the most.

He is not father Christmas definitely. Infact, IPMAN is projecting 700 per litre for the new stock you are referring to

Each employee has a handbook and company policy where procedures are clearly spelt out including separate chapters on disciplinary measures. OP They are right to refer you to websites of airlines. Prices vary even within the same airline base on different factors. The most accurate way to get what you are looking for is the use airlines websites.
