Does it mean the government is so incompetent it can not deal with the so called criminally corrupt people who benefited from the subsidy regime? Anytime this reasoning is followed, I only perceived gross failure from the president and government |

9jatriot: Hmmm, would this not give victory to the so called cabal who need us to continue the regime of subsidy.
Is it possible they are the ones fighting back and fighting dirty? Many of the things you have suggested look like things we have been trying since God knows when. Take the issue of repairing the refineries. Remember Kachukwu (former minister of petroleum) staked his reputation then that the refinery under his watch will start working in 2 years also.
With all news coming from CBN, can we really afford to continue with trying to defend the naira? As a matter of fact, if we even get the dollar component right, the subsidy removal will resolve itself. If the dollar takes a consistent value for about 1 year, then industries can plan better but when today it is 800, tomorrow it jumps straight to 850 and now even 805 then all the permutations goes out of the window.
For me, it is the dollar part that worries me the most. Who are this cabal that are so much above the entire government of Nigeria? This is where the real issue is. With all the criminal corruption the cabal are accused of, we haven't seen one member of the cabal arrested and prosecuted. All we hear us cabal cabal. What sort of nonsense is this? |

Before u drop your unsolicited opinions why not do urself the favor of starting from the beginning. yeah, I did. Right from when you belittled the OP's list of cars. For starters, OP was talking about fuel economy and not speed, you bringing in the issue of speed which is directly related to the engine size of car was not necessary. If the discussion was about speed, OP wouldn't be talking about fuel economy. Then, you belittling the cars he mentioned as poor men cars was totally uncalled for. Like I said, life is simpler than disrespecting other people's choices and what they can afford. Some people own private jets plus yachts etc. But again, everybody with their thought patterns and opinions |

I know you lots are not happy with this news hence trying to derail from the main topic of discussion Please be informed. The current increase is not due to lack of product but market forces as nnpc said. Do you expect an importer who spend, say 500 on a litre to turn around and start selling at 480? He is not father Christmas definitely. Infact, IPMAN is projecting 700 per litre for the new stock you are referring to |

And there is nothing like lie about what I said. Each employee has a handbook and company policy where procedures are clearly spelt out including separate chapters on disciplinary measures. The company knows too well they have to follow those steps religiously to avoid legal fireworks. |

BABAawoo47: telling someone to go home shows the workplace is not structured...There's something called query and there are due process to firing someone especially if the person is sent an official letter. No one working for reputable Coys will try this because of threats of law suits.... So i guess the company isn't a well structured one that's why she acted that way Correctly said, the place is most likely a one man show or without structure. Where I work, for you to sack someone takes a whole lot processes, query, first warning, second warning before sack is considered. Her attitude was bad but she was sacked in a wrong manner |

Pussykills: I have come to the conclusion that I'm addicted to prostitutes. It started in 2010 when I first slept with a hooker. Its 13yrs now and I still patronise prostitutes. I slept with 155 of them, 55 were without protection.
The problem right now is that I don't have that much feelings for the new girl I'm dating. Since she's been in my life I have been able to stop but I noticed my soul still longs to experience that feeling of getting high and banging a hoxx.
In fact, I'm thinking if ending this relationship should be my next line of action.
This is not the first time, my past relationships ended because the feelings weren't there.
What would you suggest? Does sleeping with many partners make one loose the feeling of love? I don't get it, I can't even love, it's not just there. Marry and stop fornication |

Properties › Re: Should I Confront Directly Or Report To The Landlord? by zikter(m): 12:20pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
justFEARLESS: Hello Guys
I moved to a new apartment early last month, and everything has been fine; a friendly environment, nice amenities and all, but I have only one problem. In our compound, there is a building in front with three and 2-bedroom flats in front of the building my apartment is behind, and it has two rooms and a parlour self-con.
The issue is that the window of my room is directly opposite the window of the bedroom of the people living in the 2-bedroom flat in the building in front. They get a little bit too excited during sex which is like every day and multiple times during the night: yesterday, I entered the house around 9:30 pm, and I noticed they were at it (This one, they didn't even close their window), They were already done before I slept off like 30 mins later, but they woke me up with their weird noise around 1, and it was on like that for like 1 hour, I managed to sleep, but they started again around 4.....
I don't know if they are married(because they don't wear rings or dress like married people), but they are young and live together; alone, but I can't bear this everyday wailing again. So what do you feel is right? If I tell the landlord to correct them, they will still know I am the one that reported because of the proximity of our apartment, and if I try to reason with the guy, it will be somehow awkward because we are yet to really start greeting ourselves sef.
For the record, I am married and blessed with a child, but my family lives in a different city. I moved here because of a program I am running. I will be spending at least 2 weeks here every month. Our landlord doesn't stay in the same compound but stays on the same street. try to get an ear plug and use it |

ChiefS: They were ASUU members before they became VCs. In fact, my immediate past VC occasionally attended ASUU meetings while he was still VC. There is no need to deceive the public. The Nigerian university system is drenched in corruption. I wonder why this Government has refused to release the reports of visitation panels sent to all Federal universities. It's true that Government is not adequately funding the universities. However, the little funds made available to universities should not be embezzled and misappropriated. You are right. Just that ASUU should not be responsible for the corruption of someone who is not their member. It becomes scapegoating. I absolutely agree that, their is corruption in these schools and as a matter of fact at all levels through out the country. This is also what I advocate for, government agencies responsible for tackling corruption should do their job properly. This arrest is commendable |
