A car made in 2013 would have had more than 1 if not 3 or 4 owners and it has been driven for years and years, the only saving grace is the roads where it was driven which are developed countries roads so when you see it after 10 years it looks like a human being drove it.

This does not mean when the 2013 car gets to Nigeria it is costing the price the brand new one didnt even cosst 10 years ago in dollars when it came out.

Read the last paragraph again. The family said the dismissed officer will appear at Yaba magistrate court to stand trial for murder.

Normally, the magistrate will remand him, while sending the file to DPP for advice, from there he will be trialed in high court for his crime.

Kudos to the police on this.

Once again base on his presentation, he is thinking if he starts the job, he will no longer be interested in nysc which is quite dangerous. I don't know the place he got the 80k job, but it is certainly not an organized place that will offer him an opportunity to grow. Any reasonable place here even apart from multinationals will demand for your nysc certificate as part of the your documentation process. Without it, it is harder to advance your career. Well, I still insist the 80k he is thinking of is not really worth to distract him from completing his nysc. Also completing his nysc will not stop him from relocating to anywhere he wishes. If he work the two together, good for him, though I still think he doesn't have that luxury.

it is not multinational jargon. People are getting opportunities in those companies even as of now. I repeat if he wishes to be a career person in Nigeria, he should get his nysc certificate. The 80k which is not really much should not blind him, he should look at the bigger picture

OP, the popular advice here is the job, but be very careful, this is a delicate situation. consider your age, if you are close to surpassing the age limit for nysc, then go for nysc. NYSC certificate is a requirement for many job opportunities if you wish to be a career person. Even if you are in your early twenties, many of the good openings in multinationals require nysc completion to start as a graduate trainee. For me 80k job is not really worth it to forego nysc. The money is too small compare to the benefits the nysc may certificate offer in future.

Tracker is good but not in all cases, particularly the butchering you referred to. So how are you going to track a butchered car? I once read here when someone's car was stolen, though he had a tracker on it, the tracker was found in a gutter. If you car is targeted for butchering, you stand no meaningful chance of getting it even with a tracker. Except if the butcher is not swift enough of which they always are
