Once again base on his presentation, he is thinking if he starts the job, he will no longer be interested in nysc which is quite dangerous. I don't know the place he got the 80k job, but it is certainly not an organized place that will offer him an opportunity to grow. Any reasonable place here even apart from multinationals will demand for your nysc certificate as part of the your documentation process. Without it, it is harder to advance your career. Well, I still insist the 80k he is thinking of is not really worth to distract him from completing his nysc. Also completing his nysc will not stop him from relocating to anywhere he wishes. If he work the two together, good for him, though I still think he doesn't have that luxury.

it is not multinational jargon. People are getting opportunities in those companies even as of now. I repeat if he wishes to be a career person in Nigeria, he should get his nysc certificate. The 80k which is not really much should not blind him, he should look at the bigger picture

OP, the popular advice here is the job, but be very careful, this is a delicate situation. consider your age, if you are close to surpassing the age limit for nysc, then go for nysc. NYSC certificate is a requirement for many job opportunities if you wish to be a career person. Even if you are in your early twenties, many of the good openings in multinationals require nysc completion to start as a graduate trainee. For me 80k job is not really worth it to forego nysc. The money is too small compare to the benefits the nysc may certificate offer in future.

Tracker is good but not in all cases, particularly the butchering you referred to. So how are you going to track a butchered car? I once read here when someone's car was stolen, though he had a tracker on it, the tracker was found in a gutter. If you car is targeted for butchering, you stand no meaningful chance of getting it even with a tracker. Except if the butcher is not swift enough of which they always are

These weapons were not for the Americans but for Afghan government. You are right. The only thing false in your assertion is the south you are limiting the issue to. Adultary, marriage breakdown and all the social vices are everywhere both north and south. Official statistics shows Kano state is the high consumer of illicit drugs, for both women and men.

I wrote that epistle for you so you can know that it was not just mere alliance between Buhari and Tinubu that brought him to power. They had to make him drop some of his archaic ways of doing things (at least before the election). Nobody is saying people were not yearning for change. Many Nigerians wanted an alternative to PDP but the APC strategists still knew that rebranding PMB to make him more widely acceptable would increase his chances of becoming president because PDP were constantly reminding Nigerians of Buhari's views on Boko Haram, Sharia, not to mention his "Baboo being soaked in blood" statement. Don't look at Buhari wearing suit during the campaign in isolation. Look at it as one of the many things APC strategists did to help him get power (and I have previously mentioned other things they did to rebrand him, wearing suits inclusive)

For example, no matter how woeful an opposition government has performed, if Kaduna state governor (El-Rufai) decide to run for president, he will need alot of rebranding and repackaging for him to be accepted in the South.

I usually find it difficult to attach pictures here. However, do me a favor of googling ' Buhari pictures in suit' and you will see what you are looking for. I usually find it difficult to agree with people who who seem to be extremist while trying to criticize others that is lack of contrucctive criticism. Buhari contested for president 3 times and he lost back to back. You know why? He was more of a "Northern Candidate" than a "Nigerian candidate". He has always been viewed by the South and middle belt as a tribal and ethnic bigot, an unrepentant coup plotter, and one with disdain for human right.

So, during the 2015 campaign, he was repackaged by Tinubu and co so he can have a widespread acceptance (especially from south). During the 2015 campaigns, his wife was prominent (unlike in previous campaigns), he wore the tribal clothes of the major ethnic groups in Nigeria, he wore suit, etc, he asked to be called Mohammed Buhari instead of General Mohammed Buhari. This was to make him appear as a reformed democrat who will be fair to all Nigerians. This lie was accepted by only the SW (probably because one of their own will be VP) and Buhari won the election.

Now, he has been president for 6 years, with the Killings by bandits and fulani herdsmen and pampering of these same killers, he has showed us that a leopard can never change his colour. He is and will always be an ethno-religious bigot. We in the SS and SE have always known this. Only those in the SW are coming to terms with the kind of animal they voted.

Forget this long story. Buhari lost elections 3 times not because he did not wear suit, it was majorly due to the rigging machinery of PDP under Obasanjo and then Maurice Iwu. He won in 2015 not because of wearing suit but due to an alliance with a southern political juggernaut and most importantly, the failures of PDP and Jonathan in particular. Regardless of if he wore suit or not, people just needed something different from PDP and Jonathan.
