While I agree with you that it's in bad taste to have said congratulations to his supporters on taking office after the demise of his boss, the problem is that the word loyalty has been serially abused by Africans and Nigerians in particular.
In our part of the world, loyalty seems to take a meaning of losing your senses and saying yes to everything. Loyalty also involves speaking the truth and doing things right.
While you're blaming lucky, what about those who under the guise of loyalty took advantage of the situation to forge signatures and siphon funds? Are they truly loyal to the boss or to their personal interests?
We should know where to draw the line between right and wrong under the guise of loyalty to the detriment of the general good

A resort is ideally meant to be located in the backwaters. The investor has good security arrangements there with a Nigerian Army checkpoint virtually at the gate of the resort. Indeed Commendable!
