I do not support that line of action. The truth however is that when your opponent sets off a plan to disrupt voting in your stronghold it’s about time to pay them back in their coin in their stronghold. In war it is said that all is fair! For example, the Igbo hate the guts of Awolowo because he used economic measures to hurt Biafra so badly it impacted negatively on their performance in the civil war! However, the Governorship Election Tribunal will be waiting to hit the erring party hard on the head when the dust of war is clear!

Why denying performing Aketi re-election?

Ortom did well. His people wanted him to stand up to the apparent Fulanisation agenda of Buhari and he did. That was enough for them! Ondo people apparently prefer stomach infrastructure to development infrastructure is the reason it appears this tough for Aketi to get re-elected! He didn’t let them eat their tomorrow today. Same thing the other day when the EKITI known for educational prowess allowed the evidently ill suited for governance Fayose to become Governor of EKITI State.

Governor Akeredolu rightly put his money where his mouth is by building that flyover at Ore thus enhancing commerce. That alone should give him a second term but it would appear that I do not have a clear understanding of the politics of the citizens of Ondo State ! Strange to imagine he must fight this hard to win a second term!! Stomach infrastructure would clearly to be the preference of Ondo State electorate if he loses. They learnt nothing from the EKITI under the Ponmo cutting misfit of a Governor known as Ayo Fayose! He rode Ekiti roughshod and was a bull in a China shop while EKITI state Governor. Things were so bad friends who hailed from EKITI were ashamed to be so counted!

Simply because in war all is fair. He apparently had a plan B ready if his opponents went dirty. The Governorship Election Tribunal will decide the matter. Akeredolu risks defeat if the elections are rerun in those units and rigging cannot be re-enacted.

Not quite! See, from the days of Bisi Akande of Osun State who lost to Oyinlola whose 8years was a disaster in governance one learnt that our democracy is in diapers. Largely speaking, The people are yet to make electoral judgments based on sound indices of good governance. Folks root for profligate governments who loot and let loot the State Treasury so they can eat their tomorrow today! Akeredolu did not do that and is the reason Agboola Judas Ajayi Iscariot and his ilk hated his guts! That’s the reason I do not fancy Agboola Judas Ajayi Iscariot!!!

One great oversight made by Osemawe overtime is the omission to make Baales or Dukes for settlements under his kingdom that became prominent for one reason or the other. Ore for instance became this prominent because it is a nodal community connecting NSEW of Nigeria. By the time Osemawe woke up to the reality of the times it was too late to assert his overlordship to the point that Ore is now virtually a no man’s land of sorts!

Sure do. Nigeria is a great idea but we must restructure to make it real! Truth is the issues that divide are more than those in the direction of the unifying. In such situations it is best to work at forging unity in diversity via restructuring. Let component units live as they wish with a weak centre at Abuja for defence, external affairs, economy and currency matters. Folks will see which region is best to live in and through peer review mechanisms regional governments will get better going forward.

Where were you when administrations before him established three universities in Ondo State! ODSG resources cannot successfully run three universities with students paying n25k. Like it or not, that is the bitter truth! Folks hate to be told the truth. Blame the administrations who established three universities in Ondo state. Tax is payable by all citizens.
