Inufele1:

Depending on what u have on ground already
1. International passport 16k
2. IELTS Exam 40k(i.e. if ur program doesn't require GMAT/GRE)
3. get ur transcript(s) x-variable depending on ur school
4. Certification of ur document (copy of ur Bsc. Certificate) x-variable too
5. Courier to Finland 2k - 14k (depending on courier service)
6. If u r lucky to secure the admission , you must have N1.5M i.e €6720 in ur bank account + a well funded sponsor's statement of account for Residential permit RP application at the Fin Embassy

Hope this helps...
pls bro i dont get this aspect "a well funded sponsor's statement of ccount for Residential permit RP application at the Fin Embassy"

RP is residential permit and if u have proof of employment or business dat u do, it can replace sponsor's statement of account.

No scholarship at Masters Level in finland.

Search the schools website and mail them for more info on their courses. About Marketability, not sure but as a foreign student, to be marketable, u need to learn the finnish language first and you must have been in the country for at least 5years.....and lol your CGPA small o...just joking.

If your CGPA is above 4.00 that would have been better but 3.85 am not sure o.

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by WhyNa: 6:33pm On Sep 02, 2014
ibe003: @ whyna How do u cope with the listening test and the time factor,

Ibe003 believe me, the listening part was the easiest. I tink I had just one question I didnt answer cos I got distracted. I got an 8.5 in dt section. Just kip calm, listen and answer as u go. The easiest part is the answers are given accordingly, they dnt gv answer to number 5 before number 3. So just take it one step at a time, dnt let your mind wander even for one second. Dont panic too, listen and dnt be too fast to write down your answer cos most times they make corrections eg
Question: She will be free by.......

Person A: So U'l be available by 7pm
Person B: Oh that will be 6pm

Hope u undrstnd

Hi guys, i really need some opinions about studying bachelor's degree in Finland next year as i just finished my high school in Indonesia last July.
I'm planning to take bachelor of social services in Helsinki Metroplia/Laurea/Diak University of Applied Sciences, can any of you please tell me the pros and cons about taking my chances at these uni and with this kind of study? Is the quality of education that i'd possibly receive worth taking?
I have a pretty good IELTS test result (8.0 overall) and just trying to compare studying in these polytechnic institutions in finland with studying in a liberal arts university at other countries in Europe.
Thanks a lot grin
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by ibe003(m): 4:30pm On Sep 06, 2014
Do I hear you mention liberal.? Were do you live first.?
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Sarahn: 11:28pm On Sep 06, 2014
@dahonestboss
Thank you very much for this post. It is very insightful. I will quickly summarize what I have learnt. Please correct me if I am wrong.

1. I need to get a permit to study in finland. To do so, I need to have at least 6000 euros in my bank account prior to my application. (What are the other documents I need?)

2. I will need to write an IETLS exam. (When should I write it? How recent must it be?)

3. I will need to apply and send the documents to the univerisity I wish to apply to. (When is the application deadline roughly?)(Can I apply before I graduate?)

4. I am currently doing a double degree program with a university in Poland. When I graduate, I will receive an undergraduate degree from the Polish university. I wonder, is there a way to use this to my advantage?

Thank you once again!
