Cross river state govt does not spend upto 150 million naira to fund its highly sophisticated International Carnival which lasts for 32 days (dec 1 - jan 1), as it depends mainly on corporate bodies for sponsorship. This is in sharp contrast to the whooping 2.5 billion naira the govt of Akwa ibom state spends on its so-called 1 day christmas carol annually. Fellow citizens, let's pray that God should frustrate Gov. Akpabio's bid in hosting another carol jamboree with our hard-earned resources. The shameless waste of our God given wealth by the akpabio's govt is absolute madness on d part of d governor and must be stopped forthwith.
