** Look at the removal of ‘achaba’ (commercial motorcycle); people never thought it would be possible, but it is history now.

** Kano state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MOU, with a Chinese firm, CCECC, for the construction of a modern intra city railway system in Kano city.

** Northwest University. He has used the Ado Bayero House, which was abandoned for many years, as a temporary site for the university. It has taken off while the permanent site is under construction,

**1,000 post-secondary school leavers with nine credits are sponsored for their first degree in various specialized courses and first-class graduates for their master’s degree programme. Another 500 sent to Igbenidion university for degree programme in Medicine, nursery, pharmacy etc This is unprecedented in the history of Kano.

In all fairness, the best amongst all governors in Nigeria can only be picked from among those in the south - west. At times i wonder the kind of connectivit among them, and i try to imagine what motivates them into ensuring consistent delivery and unprecedented achievements.

Apart from the south - west, i would pick the edo state governor for his hard work and determination towards the revitalization of
Edo state, also, imo state governor cannot be left out.

Without bias the following have performed quite well this year in no particular order:
1. Rauf Aregbesola = Osun
2. Sle Lamido - Jigawa
3. Kwankwaso - Kano
4. Babatunde Fashola - Lagos
5. Ibikunle Amosun - Ogun

Please note that the year in focus is actually 2013 hence i have not included Rochas Okorocha - Imo, Akpabio - Akwa Ibom, Sullivan Cime - Enugu, Oshiomhole - Edo, "Iroko" - Ondo. Others IMO have been merely struggling for average or far below in performance - Kwara, Plateau, Kogi, Niger, Taraba, Kaduna, Sokoto, Ekiti, Delta, Abia, Ebonyi, Cross River, Kebbi, Anambra etc.

Contenders for worst position IMO:

2. Kogi
3. Delta
4. Rivers
5. Kaduna

Again, 2013 is the year in focus please.

SE governors= Little propaganda, little work
SS governors = Plenty money, plenty propaganda, little work
Middle belt governors = No propaganda, no work
Northern governors = Blind looting, plenty propaganda, No work
In summary no governor in this country deserves any kind of award
Oboy Kwankwaso and Dankwambo of Gombe are working wo! Even that Borno state governor is trying, only the insurgency is hampering him

The question is which governor deserve best governor. I must say the south west governors ar ahead of their counterpart in oda zones. Bt dis yr in particular i think rochas, akpabio, kwankwaso, fashola and mimiko hv done very well. Bt narrowin it to my best, i think Fashola is the man.
