New Lesson:

We are starting a new lesson as promised. I want us to do something that is going to be of great importance to everyone. I have selected this lesson base on our frequent inquiry.

Some many of us are tired of 'chemicalized' products and want something organic. Well, we'll start with a black soap, though not from the scratch.

In this lesson, you are expected to learn:

1. How to turn your black soap into a black shower gel

2. Addition of ingredients that enhance the quality of your black soap

3. Adding a toning effect to your black soap (not bleaching please).

4.Making your black soap to have curing effect e.g curing eczema, ache etc.

Please be patient and learn at my pace...patience, patience, patience a very good virtue.

Thanks.

BLACK SOAP SHOWER GEL/BAR

Recipe one (1)
Ingredients:

1. Black Soap (soap base)

2. Coconut oil

3. Corn flour

4. Honey

5. Nutmeg

Remember we are trying to go all organic this time. However, I will be suggesting some other ingredients that are not really organic but very okay.

Lest I forget, none of these materials is hard to get. They are all available and very cheap.

Stay tuned please.

BLACK SOAP FOR NORMAL SKIN MAINTAINANCE AND RADIANCE (ALL SKIN TYPE:

1. Black soap--------1/3Kg (please use original black soap)

2. Honey........................2-3 spoons

3. Coconut oil................3-5 spoons

4. Corn flour .................1/2spoons

5.Nutmeg.......................1/2 (ground into powder)

PROCEDUREs

A). Melt the black soap with a low heat.
(Preferably, use a double boiler to melt the black soap to avoid loosing it's potency).

B). Add the honey and stir properly till the honey blends with the black soap

C). Add the coconut oil and stir properly

D). Add the corn flour and stir very well

E). Add the nutmeg powder and stir till everything blends well together and have a smooth paste.
F). Finally, package for use.

Notes:

1. You can as well pond the black soap in a small mortal and subsequently add the rest materials and blend together.
The melting gives you a kind of paste or gel.

2. For some of us that want the soap to smell nice, you can add any production perfume of your choice. (Try lemon grass perfume or Cindy)

RESULT:

You should see result in 2 weeks.

Please, tell the house how beautiful your skin looks after 2weeks of use.

We'll move to advance skin care in the next post. (Toning and skin care).

Ok, I will show you how to extract your own coconut oil naturally if you want.

Feel free to ask questions
Thanks.

Lols. Ma'am, how then is it the method I gave here? I didn't teach anyone mixture of such oil here, did I? NO!!

Before playing with different oil in the production of bar soap, there are certain things to learn. How could one just jump from Primary1 to 100 level? Habba.

Please ma, kindly tell your sister to follow what I teach here and she'll never get it wrong.

Thanks.

BENEFITS OF BLACK SOAP

Just before we continue let's quickly take a look at some of the advantages of our super black soap (African Black Soap).

1. Pure and natural: the materials involved in the production of black soap are all organic as in, they don't contain artificial ingredients (chemicals). As such, there's no fear of harmful chemical that can damage our skin.

2. Repairs Skin: black soap contains natural ingredients with great medicinal benefits that help in repairing the skin.

3. Cheap: of course, everyone needs something affordable and yet offering great benefits.

Etc.

HOW BLACK SOAP IS MADE

As I have said earlier, all the ingredients involved in the production of black soap are all natural. Well, since we are not going to be producing our black soap from the scratch I will just give a little explanation on how it's made.

Basically, our black soap base is gotten from plantain peels. There are other peels that can be used but I use plantain peels mostly in my own production because of its antibacterial properties. We can also use like three bases together.

The ashes from the burnt plantain peels is what serves as our caustic soda.......to cut the story short, any good oil can be used. I use PKO (palm kernel oil) because of its forming ability and other benefits.

Stay tuned as we continue with our lesson.

Thanks.
