drakeskull: I just got a mail from PayPal following the dispute I opened. In the mail, they said the payment has been reversed and that I should check the status in my PayPal dashboard. I checked now and the status is showing "reversed" with a note that the seller has reversed the payment. Even though it hasn't reflected on my PayPal balance nor my Gtb acct details.

Am guessing it could take time to reflect. Will keep following it up and update the thread as soon as it reflects.

So as we have seen PayPal/eBay is not an evil scamming enterprise that some inept amongst us would try to lead others to believe.

You will absolutely get 100% of your money back. I guarantee it.

Maybe you live under a rock but eBay suffered a massive cyber attack this February and millions of credit card and bank account details of eBay users were stolen and resold to the online black market. Google is your friend.

Look up the meaning of the word "may". It's not absolute that they hold your money.

The typical ones are counterfeit items. They'll post a picture of the genuine article but ship a copy.

What I do is take pictures of the actual item as a seller and as a buyer I ask for same.

I only buy on Amazon when the item is being sold and fulfilled by Amazon. I also use their credit card which has additional protection too.

See you are typing rubbish again and insulting people. PayPal can hold any money. i made a payment thru my paypal of over £1000 which was supposed to get to the receiver immediately. the receiver notified me that he hasnt received the payment. I asked him to wait till next day.

After like 2hrs paypal called me to ask if im aware of the fund leaving my account and i said yes that is going to Mr XYZ and they release the fund immediatly for the guy.

so stop saying paypal cant hold your money and you claimed that you hv over 10000 transactions.

Thank you for this. The money was transferred from my credit card to the customers paypal according to what is showing in my account overview on my paypal dashboard. Opened a dispute already and waiting for answers.

i feel your pain bro. My account got suspended indefinitely too and i tried reaching out to them a few times to no avail. I did not bother much because the sellers already shipped my items and they were already en route my USA address. There is so much fine line to be wary of in this ebay/paypal thing. I hope its resolved soon.

ebay is real. i always buy item from ebay. and paypal is also real if you do not recived your item paypal will retune you money i guaranty you.
always check b4 buying item on ebay if the seller will ship to nigeria. and also check the location of the item.

The same thing happened to me , i actually bought my item from craigslist.com in UK and the seller refused to ship down the item after i made paypal payment with my GT debit card. After 4days i called paypal to lay the complain and they open a claim for me saying they will contact the seller . It was a long story. I called paypal almost everyday. They were actually faithful to me and they investigated the issue And realize the seller lied abt everythin. N my refund was made back into my GT account after 2days.

Yeah after the reverse .your money will get to your account after like 2days . I assure u that. My was reversed too and i got alert after 2days that my account has been credited
