@bold...you need to back up your self-sponsorship with something very convincing and tangible that you are doing, ie a well-paying job that you have that pays you very well, or a fluorishing business that you are doing that is providing you with such funds. Expect to furnish the VO with job payslips or personal/business account(s) that reflect considerable flow of money. Schooling in US can be expensive and the VO expects that you back up your claim with evidence of your source of income.

I was admitted into NC A&T State University for Fall 2014 but I deferred my admission to Spring 2015 due to their delay in processing my I-20. I know they have good funding although I have not been given any. Hope that helps

Check Amazon and Chegg.com to get the prices. Then compare it from some other sites like EBay for a bargain. Books are always pretty much expensive on Amazon compared to ebay.
i got one of my books for $45 on ebay last night (International Edition India) Amazon had the priced pegged at $225. EBay always have some pretty good deals. Chegg.com too.

So January 2015 would be just fine for me but I wan ask oo.. Do u have ur I20 for Spring 2015 admission with u now? I'm asking so that I know when to expect mine (Sep or Oct).

Damine, do u already have ur I20 and admission letter for spring 2015 admission? If u do, I have a feeling ur SEVIS no for fall 2014 might be different from ur SEVIS no for spring 2015, going by recent experiences of my nairalanders.

teddyrain: I want her to explain how it can be done. Because I was thinking her direction oh! The uni might feel bad like you used them to get your visa and then you dump them, if you go to the ISSO to tell them you wanna transfer. They might want you to do a semester there before leaving which is not in my budget.

Really? Ur school has really tried for u oo.. I mean, for them to have already sent ur I20 four times already. Anyway, for those of us whose admission has been deferred to Winter 2015/January, when do we expect to get our admission documents? (Sep or Oct).

No i don't have I20 yet. Didn't bother sending financial docs since I knew I wouldn't make it in time for visa interview. Will pay SEVIS fee and get I20 for Spring 2015 by God's grace.
