Hi all Good Evening. So this topic sounds interesting to me, because, while I may not come across to a lot of people that way, chiefly because, I'm a balanced extrovert - introvert. I admit that I can be quite Putting myself in perspective here, when a situation calls for it, I can become very sharp and critical. After having made my point, I will return to my natural, warm self. Now This Synonyms for fiery, spirited, active, bold, lively, sparkling, vigorous, energetic, animated, have-a-go, courageous, ardent, game, plucky, high-spirited, sprightly, vivacious, spunky, mettlesome. Some quotes for There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity ~ Washington Irving. Strong Women only intimidate weak men. *modified again* So, I got this new perspective from MisterLongman and it's quite revealing:
And I strongly support ^^^ If that is also what it means to be Feisty, then, No LADY SHOULD ASPIRE TO BE FEISTY. Be Strong, If you can. Not Feisty *modified* Okay, from the comments posted, it's clear most people didn't bother didn't reading thru' the OP. Personally, and indeed, everyone kynda has this abhorence to the word "Feisty" But having looked up it's meaning, I'm beginning to think it might not be a bad thing afterall, when applied modestly......I guess it's another way of saying. "I am my own woman" or "That lady is Strong, Intelligent and Independent" Now Guys know women as dependent biatches who always like it cheap. So why does it trouble some guys that a woman rarely asks them for stuffs or do the sex exchange Well, I'll keep reading comments and making contributions where necessary. Happy Independence |

The word 'feisty' is considered too strong. Exudes negativity. Its generally viewed in a 'not-took-good' way. I'd have preferred ladies who are strong and dependent. But who doesn't have to be feisty. I believe that if a lady is strong and dependent, she can stand up for her beliefs and defend herself and do most things 'feisty' ladies do. When a lady is termed to be feisty, i don't think people will be convenient staying with her, cos when her feisty side comes up. There's no regard for who the culprit is. 1 Like |

Like Op rightly said, only strong men can cope with feisty ladies. They are intimidating and if you don't take your time to study them, you will judge them wrongly. They are also very loving especially to their spouse. 3 Likes |

Well as in most case I have experienced and my own personal experience, guy find you interesting to be with on dates, and being in a relationship but most times can't stand being commited to you. Some guys feel so insecured being around you cos they can't stand your intelligence and assertiveness which is above theirs. 2 Likes |

As a man, you won't like someone second guessing your decision, this is what the so called "feisty" ladies do ...yeah, call it whatever, in marriage men always have the final say...when you make one (decision), she feels hers is better...keeps happening at every turn and time, most of them can't keep their marriage (sorry, don't mean to offend no one) But for me, I'd like to marry a vibrant woman...someone with her own mind, who'd respect my decision (& opinions) as I would hers...smart, courageous and above all, never go amiss in presence of her peer...and not a FEISTY woman! |

I don't agree with that blog....... Being a feisty woman is entirely different from being a strong woman |

Pennywise: I met one this afternoon. I think am loving her. Lolest. I hope you know you're the inspiration for this topic? When you used the word feisty, I felt bad, I mean, no one likes feisty, or so I thought. So I decided to look up the meaning of feisty and I discovered, it had two statutory meanings. One was extreme positive, the other is extreme negative. So, I'm like "Hmmmm Feisty's not such a bad word now, is it? I agree though, that everything has to be in moderate moderation. So, Thanks Thanks for calling me feisty. I know better now. Though having done a quick scan on self, I can't call myself outrightly feisty. That said, I believe that all extrovert women have a bit of innate feistiness, whether they agree or not. Different things trigger it, depending on their values, orientation and principles. |

MisterLongman: I don't agree with that blog....... Being a feisty woman is entirely different from being a strong woman Oh, Okay. I get your point. And I agree too. But, in this context, remember I made exceptions. Could you please help by differentiating a strong woman from a feisty one? Thanks in anticipation 1 Like |
