Very possible. If you have read about woman, you'll know they have a higher thinking ability than men #NoOffence. And Women has great sensitivity... am just saying YES its possible

Yah....and they're gullible to sweet tones! A woman can easily be convinced.....a woman will only do wht she's been sweet toned to do.... See....women are good...but ruling a country like ours! She'll just resign after few months in office... E de easy?

It is possible but would they be allowed? There's a section/part of this country who don't like women to head them for anything. Intact, a man who is not of their faith, if they have their way should not lead them because he is considered an infidel.

The likes of Abike Dabiri, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Diezani Alison Maduekwe, and Oby Ezekwesili are ready to lead Nigeria.

Maybe Hillary Clinton can take some lessons on leadership from these women of fibre, iron, steel, timbre and calibre.

Nigerian women are totally out of it. Look at those that have the opportunity to be there now, what did they do, are they representing nigerian women well? They rather spoil it much more. They have this mentality of buying golden jewelries, expensive italian lace and shoes if not doing plasic surgery. They only care for their looks and gonna be too selfish... Infact nigeria is gonna be worse if a woman should rule. Plus the mentality of "oko lolori aya" their husbands will be controlling instead or both of them which can lead to crisis + their family members. Lol

sure there's nothing wrong with women being president in Nigeria (Will be quite difficult sha) but thier major problem is that they are fond of mismanaging staff (people) jex like the men mismanage funds… God help them sha but is not easy ooooo choi eleyi gidi gon

If a woman is capable and WILLING to provide proper leadership, I will support her. But that remains to be seen what with the present crop of obscenely corrupt female leaders in politics.

We are not ready.

Am not sure.

Reason being that:
Most of the Hausa are Muslim, and Islam don't allow a woman to lead where there are men. Taking a good look at the populations of the Hausa in the country, it leaves the women in a slim chance of leading the country in the future.

Though, it isn't a mission impossible.

But I can guarantee in the nearest future, the women governors from other regions aside North.

Hopefully, my wife to break the record. wink
Na only hausafulani dey practice Islam

I don't think it's possible in Nigeria. Our women are fast loosing credibility. They are getting their hands dirty in corrupt practices when they are suppose to show example and turn things around in the country. The likes of Okonjo Iweala, Deziani, etc who would have become role models and therefore set the pace of credible women to emerge have besmirched their reputation by allowing the system of corruption to envelope them. They can't think for the good of the common man. They have blocked opportunities for Nigerians to show case themselves to the world by joining hands with corrupt hands to ensuring that quality health care, education, basic and capital infra structural development elude us in Nigeria. No! They have killed the grounds of positive debate for and behalf of women. Although I've not forgotten the good deeds of our beloved late Dora Akunyili, but I must say that majority of the women who vie for political offices have no definite plan or path for Nigeria's development, either personal or partisan. Talking about Partisan plan, that would definitely override whatever personal development plan one has for Nigeria, it is far impossible with the kind of political parties in Nigeria today. With the kind of women in politics I'm seeing in Nigeria, Aso rock is very far from them. *mythoughts*
