Fayose is on a mission and the mission (let's avoid another President's death in power) must be accomplished. Many clowns will never appreciate what Fayose is talking about until the unexpected happen. Should anything happen to Buhari I can bet anything Osinbajo will never smell that seat, but thank God we have Jonathan till 2019!
Just thinking!

Great advert.
Maybe it's about time we try a 72 year old man.

Since the younger ones didn't perform.

God bless......

GEJ disappointed Nigerian youths. So also Fayose.

Since, they couldn't perform....they resulted into diversionary campaign instead of issue base. Fayose should be selling GEJ achievements and not personal age of an opponent.

Howbeit, this calls for serious thinking..

It is more of an insult and much worse than his earlier antics. The previous was more of a joke but this; Are we saying that the older generation are all useless? There are many at that age who can contribute effectively to the growth of Nigeria. Ok, all those presidents he listed, which among them did anything sustainable for the country? At least they were supposedly young and virile, right. Nigerians need to pull their heads out of their ass.es and start thinking logically. I am neither supporting jonathan or buhari, as far as i am concerned they are both cut from the same cloth.
Re: Fayose Vs Buhari; Ekiti State Governor Takes Another Shot At GMB by JurassicPark: 1:31pm On Jan 21, 2015
Don't vote a president who is closer to his grave..

It is solely a ploy to loot the treasury for his retirement, family and associates..nothing special!

We need people who will leave office with more years to live ahead of them so they can feel the impact of the policies they adopted.

OBJ is one example

I still maintain, GMB's emergence is a goal scored from an Offside position, it won't count in the end
grin

What Fayose doesn't understand is that most of these young folks that have ruled this country have been unable to take it to where it's suppose,so,we need to opt for an elderly candidate that enough experience and has a good reputation,Robert Mugabe is even old enough to be Buhari's father, and he's doing pretty good in Zimbabwe
that's zambia not nigeria. nigeria is a very big and complicated country...

What Fayose is saying is not constitutional, as long as the constituion says he can contest, why not.In order to stop Old people from vying for a political position,Nigeria constitution must be reviewed, else, it is just a campaign strategy for PDP

I think you mean Zimbabwe...though Zambia recently elected Michael Sata...who sadly passed on at age 72. Currently being run by the 60'ish Guy Scott...the first white President since independence....though that is till the new elections later on...which he is not running in.

Zimbabwe too has its own problems...tribalism, whites vs blacks and the economic crisis brought about by Mugabe's decision to hand over white farms to black farmers...which wrecked the economy.

Actually it would have been better if Nigerian youngsters...men in their 40's and early 50's in both parties....took over and promoted new, revolutionary ideas to improve Nigeria.

But sadly.,....such men of foresight are lacking.

Still....age is nothing but a number.

I agree with you.

Some of these are up to 16 years older than Buhari with a lot more others and the average age for world leaders is 60.3. If Buhari is 80 and has the wisdom, courage and dedication to move Nigeria forward i shall vote him 100 times over than vote GEJ without these essential leadership qualities.
Forget story. This is about what Fashola said, not about Tunisia or Malaysia. You even had the guts to mention kings, queens and ceremonial presidents that don't do anything.

Yar' adua was a sick man... yet he succeeded in chasing boko haram out of maiduguri.... his two years was full of achievements... petrol pump price was 67 naira.
Under the watch of the healthy and youthful Jonathan.. boko haram has become the proverbial dreaded iroko tree .
I don't care if Buhari is 72 or 100 years old.. certificate or no certificate.
#GEJ must go

Thanks, but i pass.

I'd rather have a 90 year-old president who'll perform well than a 57 year-old m0ron who'll collapse the country if given 4 more years.

Jonathan may be younger but he's inept and not up to the task of running this country.

The problem here are the youths that got to power without performing credibly.

Fayose is one of them. But he messed up. Now 2nd chance just like GEJ canvassing for same... Still messing up.

We wouldn't be discussing the like of Buhari in our polity if GEJ has performed at least an average in d last six years. But rather he failed Nigerians by giving mandate in the 2011 election. Nigerians thought a bridge builder was on d way, voted him in and only to be encouraging corruption at highest level.

Or how can describe a president that gave presidential pardon to a criminally inclined ALAMS. "stealing is not corruption"
Good you observed this too,if GEJ was a road safety officer,he's the type that would penalize a taxi driver who over speeds and spare a man who's driving a Range Rover,he only cares about the rich and influential regardless of how you make your money,Buhari on the other hand is opposite of that, introvert and melancholic, does'nt forgive easily,he doesn't want to know who you are, people shouting that he punished some influential Nigerians see them as untouchables because they're influential, they all committed one offence or the other but people see it as unfair but they refuse to realize that sparing of what we call little crimes by politicians here is what graduates them to commit even bigger ones,Jonathan sees some people as untouchable because they've probably helped him personally without realizing that the nation's affairs apart, friendship apart, personal issues apart
