Well 18 year olds cannot buy liquor in virtually all states in the US.

What happens to a pregnant 18 year old secondary school leaver who loses her spouse vs a 25 year old graduate.

It is not just about physical maturity, but emotional, social and financial responsibilities that come with marriage.

What kind of uncertainties are you talking about? Grown ass men and women face problems in marriage too, so what uncertainty are you talking about here?...Maturity has nothing to do with age! My friend's younger sister in the UK graduated from the Uni at 20 and got married the same year...She's happily married to a 32 year old man that dated her for at least 2 years before they got married...So what's all these hypocrisies with our Nigerian brethren, even the ones in diaspora? Smh!

Happiness in marriage like psychological maturity is not determined by age!

I'm not interested in the workings of a marriage , all I know is , a person who is 18 and above is legally capable of being in a conjugal union, except the he/she is mentally ill or coerced of course.
