Amaka pls can u send some recipe 2 my box. as in recipes like egusi soup, jollof, okro, ukazi soup, afang soup, vegetable n other soup u knw n also hw 2 prepare vegetable salad.

I must confess that this is one of my favorite threads here on Nairaland.com!  Thank you all for these wonderful recipes and commentary! 

My next question to you is this:  Where does one begin?  Some of the recipes are so exotic and the ingredients somewhat unfamiliar to me that I feel, well, a bit overwhelmed!

What do you suggest I start with?  Also, are there substitutions that can be made for some of the ingredients?  Which do you suggest?  I ask because I'm not sure I can find all of the ingredients that you list.  I know they are the key to making the foods authentic, but not all of your native foods are available to other parts of the world.

Thanks for your help, and please keep the recipes coming!

Interesting thread, strange how almost all the recipes and pictures were taken from Naija ryders. YOu should at least give credit to the original posters and photographers.
