You don't call for referendum by taking to the streets in non-peaceful protests, i dunno d process cos am not an expert on the matter or a lawyer but i sure know there is a peaceful way towards it

omenkaa:

why not ask Buhari to call for a referendum. Is that not what IPOB has been asking all this while

It's so surprising how some people rejoice in evil. They all forgot that applauding evil done onto your land is very unpatriotic. Granted, you want a sovereign nation, but be careful what you wish for. I bet Nigerians never anticipated current suffering when seeking independence from European during the late 50's. I won't be surprised if some of this militant are posting on this website.

People be wise, at the end of the day, the poor and the masses feel the burn the most.

‪#‎OCCUPYINGMINDS‬: ‪#‎NIGERDELTAMILITANTS‬...Every time a Crude Flow Station is Destroyed by Militants in the Niger Delta, The Environment is Damaged; Our Land is Polluted and Our Communities are subjected to more hardships...Let the Bombing Continue, who will lose?...The Government of PMB is dragging the Nigerian Economy away from Crude Oil; Lagos State has Joined the League of Oil Producing States and the Northern Part of Nigeria whose Reserves have been cynically suppressed over the years will begin production within the next months to two years. With time, We from the Niger Delta would have destroyed our Lands so much that future generation will curse us their Fathers and Mothers for killing their dreams. Let the Stupidity Continue my People...Don't stop the blowing up of pipelines.
Everyone of us thinks that a Blown Pipeline is an attack on PMB and His Government of Change...Insanity on display I must say. Kano and Lagos are Leading the way in Tomatoes Paste Production and Tomatoes don dey scarce shebi? The Northern Landmass alone is about 4 times the entire Landmass of the SS and the SE; Agriculture will revolutionize the North within the next decade...We from the Niger Delta will use our Oil to soak Garri and we think we are punishing Nigeria? Think Again, but Kontinu.
I have been reliably informed, that the More Pipeline we blow-up, the more the Resolve of this President to get the Nigerian Economy off oil...The More the Presidency blocks loopholes; The More the desire for alternative Revenue; The More the Nigerian People get pissed off by our Stupidity. The Future is Lost to the Greedy, Selfish Demons of Today. Blow Pipelines if you can, Nigeria is moving on. We have a President who is capable of making the hard decisions and willing to firmly sustain those hard choices. Blow Pipelines abeg. Let Nigeria Suffer and Let our land be wasted. Kontinu killing your own future by your own hands.
WEEP NOT FOR THE NIGER DELTA!!!
OUR ENEMIES ARE WITHIN!!!

Corruption my ass... : corruption started since 1960.
Looters started since 1960.
Abacha, IBB, OBJ, Atiku, abubakar, the funds they looted is 10 times higher than any administration.

But Nigeria did not go into hardship like this..

Buhari government is even more corrupt. As long as the judiciary did not jail anyone uptill date
With a big evidence of some returning part of the looted money.

As long as our institutions did not change, (which give room for corruption)
Buhari use permanent sec to approve money for over 3 month... When he come into office, who did he account to?

Buhari promise to declare asset publicly.. With his team if elected. Did he??

Darkness fighting darkness.
Same old people
Same old system
When he come into office he waited 1 month to see Obama,
What's was the out come of the meeting? Obama said Nigeria should advance to approve gay right lol
Did he not go back there again

Even after collecting the list of those fat account of looters. am sure there are names, like amaechi, Atiku, abubakar, etc on that list.

Why will u.k call Nigeria fantastically corrupt..
Because they know noting has changed even with buhari now govt.

Buhari is fighting thief's not corruption. (oppositions)

Looters are thief's.

Corruption is still in our system of govt. Till date.

The hardship is because of his monetary policy.
Foreign investors can not invest in Nigeria

Even our oil markets can't import fuel.
Business men can not import goods.

Bad economy team.

APC killing there chance.

ND Avenger is following Nairaland on Twitter. It's obvious they are reading and paying attentions to the responses of the Nigerian Youths on their activities.
I think we should admonish them to embrace peace, Nigerians ain't smiling at the moment, and they should stop compounding the challenges facing the Country at large!
We need peace to achieve the Change we asked and voted for!
Enough of incessant Bombings!

Obasanjo would have tactically dealt with criminal elements like Boko Haram, IPOD, NDA, etc.
I think Buhari should use his approach in a time like this.
We still remember what happened in Odi.
Some saboteurs are just hell-bent to frustrate this government. God pass them.
Also, the federal government should address the genuine yearning of Niger Deltans.
These saboteurs are only defending their pockets, and not Niger delta.

Dont be gullible, those guys are fighting for their pocket, the likes of Asari dokubo and tompolo are now billionaires, they are not fighting for the common good. What is paining these set of criminals is that the stolen crude oil they get access to in setting up illegal refineries is no longer accessible.
Excluding the generic FG allocation, Governors from Oil rich states earn 13% oil derivation. The current FG @ the onset of its administration pledged to clean up lands in the niger delta, starting from Ogoni.
