it's actually a crime in rivers state to hold any form of rally with the intention of creating awareness for biafra. Do you not watch the news or read the papers. Rivers state security council courtesy wike passed the law since 2015.


It is not okay and not justifying the death of the boy, but the boy and most of these protesters have no idea of how ruthless/lawless the Nigerian military can be. In this part of the world, soldiers and mopol would shoot live rounds of ammunition at university students observing a peaceful rally. I witnessed it first hand at Uni during the aluta days; how much more those asking for the formation of a new country within a nation in which the soldiers have sworn to protect its unity.
