There is nothing wrong with multiple dating before marriage, if sex is not involve. There is a friend of mine that was in a relationship with a guy for 6years before this guy dumped her. There are good guys that wanted to date her then,she didn't agree and she used to report to her boyfriend about the guys that wanted to be in a relationship with her.

Wow! You are like the only person who gets it. It's nothing to do with sex but rather socialising. This is an old school mentality. My mother and aunties used to say a beautiful woman should date (chat to ) 30 and chooses 1.

It's not about being a slut or a gold digger blah blah but about being a woman of value! Actually, there is something sensible in this. I've know women who dated and stayed faithful to their men for almost 2 years but only be heartbroken and dumped at the end of the line. And there are also those that dated for less than 6 months and got married. So I think the idea is to talk to your partner and get a clear picture of where the relationship is heading off to so as not to waste anyone's time.

Women are confused. I had a date with a lady recently and while chatting and sharing experiences, she said this: "don't let a lady know from the onset that you want to marry her cos if you do, she would feel relaxed and take you for granted". At that point, I wasn't sure what to do with her since I had already given her a hint of where I was heading to.
