Let me explain my self in clear terms

1) first of all, Prostitition is not like any other business that requires huge capital to start
All that is required is to sell the body which is not exhaustible as the customer will not take the virginia with them when leaving

2) sex workers do not need a permanent site or location to start the business all that is required is the body which can be taken anywhere, so stopping the demand in the open, doesn't mean the whole demand system will collapse, Or do you know how to spot a sex worker

3)Thus, the ordinary law of demand and supply cannot apply to sex workers because of the reasons I have stated above, hence apart from cutting off demand which will hardly work. It will only lead to a market full of cheap sexwokers who are desperate to go underground and put themselves in real danger

4) For reasons I have stated above cigarettes and sex workers cannot be classified in the same category because the latter does not require huge cost of production or a huge supply chain. All that is required, is for the lady to open her legs and in the split of a second the business transaction is completed

Hence, the the disruption in demand will not lead to the end of the trade, it may actually make the trade more dangerous for those involved
