Alcatraz005:This kinds of comments show how gullible you are, ISIS has existed long before Donald Trump came to power. Israel on the other hand doesn't even strike ISIS, it's the Muslims on the ground that are fighting this people. I don't why flatheeads are so gullible as regards Putin, Trump and Israel on Biafran Christians! 1 Like |

clems88:You head must have hit ground. Christian holidays include: 1. Sunday services 2. Christmas 3. Easter 4. New Year based on the calendar which shows that Jesus supposedly died 2017 years ago. Muslims: 1. Eid Adha 2. Eid Fitri 3. Maulud 4. Islamic New Year(just few states observe this) So why slapping and nag hypocrite? 1 Like |

Christmas holiday, Boxing Day, New Year day, Easter Monday.....they will never complain about that. Why are you criticising another religion... I think it's we Nigerian that want to divide the country and not our leaders, because when govt declare holidays for Christians Muslim don't complain about it. Abeg no carry Christianity religion for head. |

meforyou1:So we should use Christian Holidays as yardstick for our holidays? So if Chrisitian have two holidays, then it's a must Muslims regulate theirs? I think something must be wrong with you! Maulud and Islamic New Years aren't holidays, I don't celebrate it. But you have no right to criticize, Christians don't go to work on Sundays but we work and go to schools on a Friday. What kind of injustice is that? Jan 1 is a Christian holiday because it marks the supposed demise of Jesus, currently 2017 years ago, Jesus was supposedly crucified! 1 Like |

Demmzy15: You do realise the christian years start during lent period which start around nov-dec.. I'm not even a catholic but know this. January 1 is a basically a new day of the year.. Likewise sunday is one of the weekend days. Sabbath day is basically on Saturday. Start using this sense na.. I'm even ashamed and disappointed at a Yoruba not using his sense, all because of a religion. Religion shouldn't erode your identity and heritage because you're what you're first before a religion. The religion doesn't turn you to an Arab nor turn a christian to a Jew or British. I don't even go to a church on sunday and believe me, if christians decide to move their service to saturday, I won't be moved as well because the two days (sat and sun) are generalised weekend days! 2 Likes |

diadem10: E no consign me! January 1 is a basically a new day of the year.. Likewise sunday is one of the weekend days. Sabbath day is basically on Saturday. We are in 2017 years after the demise of Jesus, so whatever holiday falls on this day is a Christian holiday. Remember this current calendar was introduced by a Christian Pope Gregory. So your argument doesn't hold water! Then y'all should stop shouting Islamization bla bla bla. This post applies to you not me, you should stop your bias against Muslims! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Cyynthia:Hello yoruba wannabe, your plot to divide us on the basis of religion is baseless n KOLEWERK. Maybe you should first ask why we have Saturdays (sabbath) and Sundays as weekly holiday and Friday (jumat) isn't? . Why should the gregorian calendar (invented by the pope) new year be celebrated and not the Arabic new year? For your information osun state do declare public holiday for traditionalist too during their festival (odun ise se). Religion for we yorubas is EQUITY and FAIRNESS. Mind you I'm a CHRISTIAN 1 Like |
