Max jax,remove power connector from d harddrive b4 troubleshooting#check ur ram if it is well connected just press it or if u av a another ram u can use it to test it #ur cmos jumper should be clear for normal configuration#if u av another power pack u can test ur pc with it #check ur power botton #proccessor #if not working let me know

You need not format your hdd to remove ur deep freeze. Its just thesame process as its being installed. It works like childs play.

Chiefoh,your 10gb is in your dos environment and u don't need to format your pc what u need to do is to run your dos and type fdisk then display partition and u will see your 10gb as d: to get it back delete d partition,create partition and restart your pc after done.goto your my computer and u will see it there

mukadas, please this is not explanatory enough. how d hell do i run dos where do i type fdisk i went to dos prompt and typed fdisk at the c/> prompt and it was telling me rubbish, please tell me how to run dos and the appriorprate step by step commands to type in the dos environment, thank you[/color].

hi Mukadas, it me again talk talk. i was off for some reasons. i tried downloading some software but no one works. i remember u also advice to come to Lag. to meet engineers over there. i want to to know it is some thing that can be done within few minutes or hours cos i don't wnt ang there in Lag. if so please just send me ur mobile no so i can call u up to let u know when am coming and i do i locate the place where i can meet good engineers.please man help on this.

boot up ur system, right click on my computer and select ' manage'.
on the left pane u'll see 'disk management', just under disk defragmenter.
click on 'disk management'; on the right pane there should be details of the drives on ur system.
look for unallocated disk space, right click on it and select new partition.
follow instruction.



PHOLA,
run an open board check;
connect power cables, slot on a processor,ram and vga card(if necessary) and power on the system.
if the beep continues, make alternating swap between those three devices - one of them is probably not working properly.
this would mean, u should disconnect ur drives from the board, to narrow ur troublshooting range.

i wouldn't even suggest you take it to computer village; u might end up with a dead lappy.

my question is, my pc months ago was divided in two partitions(2 drives) i used to save on both  drives ,  before i did format my pc ,i saved doc photos etc on data cd all were viewable whenever i needed to view doc etc, when i formatted pc i made my pc on one partition and not on two as was before ,when all was ready and needed some txt documents i saved on data cd some documents like txt doc were not there only photos  were viewable other doc gone, how/s this? where my txt doc went?  to view all i saved on cd as before i must divide my pc again in 2 partitions? i had loads of doc saved no only photos.

i want to say sorry to all my fellow nairalander before i will proceed or answering any question and let me start from dii,what you need to do is to load all your packages like pagemaker,microsoftword,acrobat reader,etc then check your files they will be in each packages

cyprianjr,what you need to get is flash 8 or above because some sites are now upgrading their old pics presentation to motion ones and to view the site you have to get a key that is the flash files openner to get to the site,that is not a problem once they prompt you to download it keep on upgrading your macromedia but beware of virus attacked sites

mukadas abeg help me o! i winflashed my HP laptop pavilion dv4320us BIOS and since then its been unstable. I have issues with windows installer, in short my laptop processor speed is up from 533MHz to 1700MHz and the laptop gets sooo hot fast.

How can i reset my BIOS to factory settings? Please help!

i suggest u get in touch with a HP service center as fast as possible.
most cases of BIOS flashing problems result in a dead motherboard !
get it to them now that it's still working partially.

between, what program did u flash with ?
there tends to be a lot of cases with flashes done with winflash. i understand it's quite unstable.

Hello. I have a problem: I have some music CDs of my friend, but they cannot be played on the PC. At first I thought the problem was that the CDs are scratched. Many of my friend's CDs are scratched so that some songs crack and are interrupted. But there are 3 unplayable CDs which are not scratched so much in comparison to others which can be played. Then I realized that there is the inscription CVL on those 3 CDs. Well, what is this, why can the PC not play this and can I do anything to solve the problem?
