Points like? The reason most of us here don't understand your own brand is cos you've not been explicit enough. If you're a socialist feminist then good for you.
so this how it is for me! I dont think men r the major reason for women's oppression or patriarchy itself!!! I feel women contribute greatly to the patriarchy system!! Most of them belive men r a free ticket to success!! Marrying a rich man is their no 1 agenda!! Even tho I personally want a finacially statable man, i feel women shouldn't see that as success!!! Women view themselves lesser that's why men agree with that!!! Women are always against themselves n thsts our major problem!! I belive women should work n hvf something doing even if their spouse is a millionaire!! Women need to try to add more relevance to the society!! But thankfully there is great improvement today

I belive marriage shouldn't be the focus of the female child alone but the male child as well

I belive male children need more home training from their parents, that's the main issue we have in our society, most men hv no home training

I also believe men suffer in the patriarchy society as well
E.g we want equal salaries but we women want to keep it to ourselves mean while men pay all the bills!! Men are some worth like financial slaves!! If women what equal salaries with men they should as well be ready to take up some responsibility not just men alone, it goes on n on

N so many more depending on the issues raised!!
Am at church, that's why it took a while

@ bolded

How do you manage to make so much blunders all the time.

Which marriages focus on the female or male child alone before? And what does that point have to do with feminism.?

I love men and praise them and believe a man should be respected, likewise a woman, both gender cannot do without each other and we need each other for the smooth running of things but then these feminists claiming that men are holding them back are still the same set that see themselves are sexual objects both on Instagram and music videos. whenever I watch mtvbase or sound city and watch as our girls parade themselves nakeed in a music video while the guy is all dressed up, the question that pop into my head is "who now is holding us back if not for us?

Women we are the ones holding ourselves back, until some of us stop seeing ourselves as object of sexual gratification, this shenanigans will continue.

She is very stupid and dumb.
Yes there are men who invented stuffs but is that olodo trying to tell us that women invented nothing?
Education helps people to invent and create,
And education is one thing that was denied from many women back in those days in some cultures,
Even now in some places, some take training a girl in school as waste of resources.

She should shut up.

A world without men will be paradise.
Men invented war, bloodshed, killings, crimes, rape, homosexuality, etc.

Men are important in their own way,
So are women!

How can you say that even now a girl child training is seen as a waste of resources in some places when I have seen countless times when fathers train their daughters in school and send their sons to learn a trade or craft, even while in school, parents send more money to their female child when compared to the male child.

How is a world without men not violent when we women are our own worst enemy, men can live together in a room without back stabbing, fighting and snatching girlfriends but its opposite for women, lots of gossiping, fighting, quarrelling, etc which is why many girls prefer men as friends.

Did men also invent lesbianism? Also have you not heard of boys being sexually harassed and raped by girls?

Seriously stop being biased.

You feminists really amaze me, I listened to Beyonce flawless song where she was calling her fellow women "bitch", that's degrading, for someone that is fighting for her own gender.

A concept will never be understood the same way.

Chimamanda understanding of feminism may be totally different from your understanding.

If you read her "Dear Ijeawale "
You will understand how own type and view of feminism.

lol so there was no woman maltreatment in that book??, chiamanda brought two families, that of Mr Eugene n anuty ufeoma!! To depict a home operated by a man n a woman, how Kimbili and jaja changed after going to anuty ifeomas house!! Kimbili is the main character, so making a lady the protagonist already makes it a feminist book!!!! Most feminist writers reacted to the fact women are hardly made the protagonist in africian books!!! Eugene was made the antagonist!! Just Google feminism in purple hibiscus!

Exactly sis. I even have the pdf on my phone and I read the book again early this year. It centers on colonialism, religion bigotry, domestic violence and the Nigerian government. I was also a literature student. It had nothing to do with feminism at all, it's more of domestic violence than feminism. Because Mr Eugene didn't punish his wife and Kambili alone, he also punished Jaja. So how is that unfairness to the women alone? Even his father wasn't left out of his religious fanaticism.
