i purchased a 63x box 4rm mytv nd it looks like 69x bt nt mpeg4 complaint.
It was purchased 4rm a dealer of strng products. Just want to ask if its a "fake copy"? just as dey say in dat dia advert or if any1 here uses such.

@all gurus please i want to get the signals of fox movies, fox series, dubai one and mbc signals excluding the sports channels on nilesat. please will a 2 meter dish work out for me? i live in lagos, nigeria. please i need an expedite reply because i am itching to buy the dish.

Pls all my nilesat in sokoto as at the tyme of dis post [12pm] has mbc1234, cnn, euronews and a few heavly cracking 48%. Bt foxmovies is doin well.
Wat do u tink is the problem dish setup or my reciever 63x. Lest i forget we connected 4rm sum1 dual lnb.

Required Items
1. Strong Receiver SRT4910
2. Cables (RS232, Null Modem Cable, USB Cable)
3. Satellite Dish
4. PC (Processor - Core2Duo, RAM - 2GB, Internet port - RJ45, HDD - 500GB, USB 2.0 Port)

1. Connect Strong Receiver to Dish
2. Track W3A
3. Download latest software from strong site
4. connect strong decoder to computer
5. use Freedom or Freegate or freedoor - latest software
6. open your browser
7. type in desired web site
and enjoy your free browsing experience

Note: If RS232 doesn't work change to Null modem cable, if Null doesn't work change to USB and enjoy.

The new 4663X decoder and 4669X decoder have almost identical face. the difference is the model number printed on their body so be careful next time when buying.

i never knew that bird has any active transponder. ilish, pls drop me a trackable tp .

@Borderline,Its etv tp beams to Southern Africa.I doubt that you can pick it in nigeria as no member from that side has reported picked it.Its mpeg4

The satellite antenna alignment tool is a software which gives you details of antenna look angles, sun azimuth, transponders, etc. it's mainly useful for newbies doing their first dish installation but also for gurus who want to refresh their theoretical knowledge. You need to have a computer in order to install and use it. And, no you cannot use it directly on your decoder. hope this helps?

I would be glad if I can lay my hand on this Software for alignment. The one I was using no longer works fully. its a trial version, and Iv resorted to online alignment. I would like to try another type. I Would be glad if you can send the software or link to orbitalconcept@yahoo.com. let me try this one you are talking of.

I will use this opportunity to say thank you to Oga badaru, Oga Obnelly, and Oga sammu, for setting up my 2.4m dish over the weekend, though the work is has done., but hopefully will get the motorise done this weekend

Bros motorize and the sky will be your limit, u can hook up to 20 sat. depending on your skills
