They should be upgraded not abolished. Islamic education is compulsory for Muslims and Western Education is very strongly encouraged by Islam.

You can only upgrade something that meets the needs of the people. Almajiris are not meeting those needs. These kids are not being educated and we are talking about an upgrade. Why do we have Imams running these orphanages and destitute homes? It's like having your pastors, priests and prophets running your kid's education.
