Some of these things make no sense. So because the family was poor when Tinubu was young, does that mean they ought to remain poor by the time the parents died? Second, Tinubu's Mom was eulogized in Ebenezer Obey's song "Congratulation"....Madam Tinubu, Iyalode akoko (first). That song mentioned the likes of Tejuosho and Abiola's wife. No doubt, the family turned their fortunes around.

Atiku needs to clarify how he was making money as a Customs Officer on the side, which was illegal even then. Tinubu said he inherited some properties and turned it around. Just building roads can do that. Lekki was once a no-go area...look at Lekki now. I know a family that had many plots in Lekki when it was useless...they have since leased it for Event Center and will get it back after 30yrs. That is how fortune smiles on people. Sadly, enemies of wealth and envious people won't know this.

Last but not least, Tinubu has been so generous to many people that I do not doubt that his upbringing and some of the challenges he faced shaped him that he must be a giver and also build his wealth.
