You mean the SRD application?
Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by Vergil: 9:02pm On May 21, 2012
Excel+:

You mean the SRD application?

If by SRD, you mean the shell recruitment portal. Then yes. But not only that, most applications in general. Get no email at all. If there was a reliable phone number, that could be called to follow up on the application. That would be good.
Its like, apply and no reply or get refused. So those who get replies and chance for interviews. What do they do different? Etc

Also, if I may ask. How lng does this recruitment phase take. From application to job start?

Cheers.

Vergil:
Well, I really can't say what might be responsible for what you are experiencing, but be sure they'll get across to you when they have openings. Keep submitting!

On that of NLNG, I don't have an idea as to when exactly they wld be recruiting. Let's keep being on the look out.

Regards!

Special thanks to God. I had my Shell Test in Lagos yesterday. For those still waiting to write, here's a summary of what to expect:

Verbal first 32questions for 18mins
Numerical 20 questions for 20mins
Spatial 18questions for 18 mins

All the best!

#Please practise your spatials well...
Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by Vergil: 10:18am On May 26, 2012
Soz, prob a stupid qstn.
But are calculators allowed?
Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by kastgeraldino: 6:12pm On May 26, 2012
They will provide a calculator for you, and tell you to keep yours outside. Thus, you don't really need to bring yours but it might be best you bring yours even though you don't use it. In any case, you will be allowed to use a calculator for numerical. I felt bad after the test because of spatial.
Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by Vergil: 7:47am On May 27, 2012
Cheers for the reply. I'm guessing those calculators aren't scientific yh? Asking cos want to know how one should practise.

Also, would u say the numerical is typical numerical tests or this is tricy? Basically, shl, psl, gmat, gre...which?

And, spatial? Nawa o.

U'd be alright man
Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by kastgeraldino: 9:13am On May 27, 2012
Yes the calculators were not scientific. It made me slower because I was a bit inefficient in using the clumsy calculator. The test is shl,and the numerical is fair-not too difficult or easy. Just relax and don't freak out cos it seems you are. Stay well and gudluck.

Hello guys, pls let's keep d thread alive, its getting boring here! I tot we shld be sharing ideas, experiences and information abt this year's Shell recruitment? Going thru d postings made by past Shell hopefuls on these thread, the results of the aptitude tests are usually out abt a month after d tests. So if that stays correct and d trend remains d same ds year, I guess Shell shld be contacting candidates by this month end...does anyone have this information from any reliable source? Let's drop comments pls, to keep d thread interesting and calm down nerves cos am getting agitated o! Lol...
