Politics / Re: Who Else Have Seen This Funny Thread On Nairaland today by Ajisebioyolaari: 1:40am On May 01, 2018 |
With the fraudulent campaign strategy I saw on that thread today, I have discarded the little thought I was nursing to vote Dankwambo in 2019. Even the quality of projects in the pictures he posted are questionable. Dankwambo may have tried in Gombe state capital but the state workers do not speak so highly of him. |

zionmde:You are very smart. I thought I was the only one who noticed this. One foool who has been paid to campaign thinks he can foool everyone else by creating multiple accounts and shower accolades on his benefactor. Not only were each of the accounts opened between 26th- 30th April 2018, they all have one comment each and it is all about Dankwambo. Nigerian youths are indeed lazy. I was even contemplating about voting him in 2019.....but with this fraudulent campaign strategy, he just lost a potential vote. 1 Like |

maclatunji:You should have just answered her question instead of all these weak attempt at hiding the truth. Most if not all of the religious inclined killings in Nigeria are perpetrated by muslims or in the name of islam. It did not start today, but as far back as the early 80s (if not earlier). Can any christian kill muslims in the north in the name of terrorism and all hell will not break loose? Mr man, I know it's hard to be objective on issues like this especially for fanatics like you but you need to accept the hard truth. Argue with your jihadists. 691 Likes 68 Shares |

Politics / Re: Can You Solve Nigeria's Problem? by Ajisebioyolaari: 10:59pm On Apr 29, 2018 |
1. Security: Without the guaranteed security of lives and properties, nothing can work. 2. Power: There is an urgent need to boost our power sector. Quality education, conducive learning environment, science and technology, industralisation and scientific research are all tied to good power generation. Electricity is needed for smooth operation in industries, educational institutions, laboratories/research centers, libraries, etc. 3. Education: There is a need to increase funding in education and ensure transparency in the education budget, procurement process and remuneration of workers in the education sector. More investment should be channeled into scientific research, technological development, skill acquisition and transfer, research grants, construction of laboratories/research centers and upgrading of existing ones, human capacity development, etc. Make Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) very attractive to students by providing scholarships, research grants and other incentives to STEM students. 4. Science and Technology: is a microcosm of Education. 5. Tourism: Only when these top 4 are in place, can we begin to look into our tourism potential and development. |

acenazt:I laugh at your stupidity. So only jobless people protest? You mean all youths are not currently working? Where do you originate from? I need to know so that I can confirm the geopolitical zone your foolishness emanated from. Little wonder there is a culture of impunity at all levels of government. You and your likes are either cowards or beneficiaries of the systemic corruption and injustice that has become endemic in this current administration. I pity for you because when the country will burn, there will be no promised future for your children. Continue mortgaging your future and that of your children. You hear? |

odigbosky:sorry about your family bro. We rarely seek the attention of mental health facilities thinking that only completely insane people needs attention. But the truth is many of us experience depression as a result of what we go through. We need to watch closely and seek good healthcare instead of always attributing everything to spiritual forces. Time will not permit me to narrate how my sister's case began and what we went through for 3 years. |

I feel really bad tonight and I wish I could be of help to OP's mum. A lot of Nigerians are yet to come to the reality that mental illness is real and a lot of us are living with it. It's not until you run unclad on the streets. Depression, hyperreligiousity, anger, aggressiveness, seclusion and hallucinations are all signs of mental illnesses which can be triggered by a lot of factors. People need to check themselves into hospitals to see psychologists or pyschiatrists especially when they feel they are over stressed or undergoing an emotional phase. You need to see the rich and beautiful people I met at the hospital during my sister's stay and you begin to wonder "what went wrong with these people?" It can happen to anyone....all they need is love and proper care. 2 Likes |

@OP, your mum is suffering paranoia or bi-polar disorder. Now, I am very authoritative about this because while I read about your mum's behaviour, withdrawal symptoms and religious belief/fear about everything irrelevant, I saw my sister again. When my sister started hers, it was really terrible. Better thank God that your mum is not violent. Imagine returning from work to meet all your clothes burnt because your sister thinks they are satanic. I used to be very angry with my sister, thinking she did all she was doing on purpose.....until I got a better understanding. Not until we took her to a pyschiatric hospital and ensured she was placed on admission till she got better. Even then, she had to be on drugs for a long time and we ensured she took her drugs religiously. I later started feeling pity for her instead of anger. It's not your mum's fault. Something must have happened to her which she didnt share and she prolly sank into depression which has worsened her mental health. Please take care of your mum and God will reward you for it. PS: You sound unnecessarily rude, there's no need for that. Opinions must always differ, learn to respect other people's view. Cheers! 14 Likes 1 Share |
