Drivers stop carrying more than 4 riders in your car and don't always allow them eat in your car its against uber policy. This will help save repair cost for car owners.

Nothing will make me carry more than 4 riders if you insist I politely tell you that I can't go against uber policy. Option is for you to cancel or request additional ride. About food, I can't be perceiving the food in the car. If you stop to buy food in an eatery and didn't bother to buy even bottle water for me. Be sure to take it home because you won't eat in my car. I'm that simple.

Around 12:30am, I was driving inward Abraham adesanya round-about from sangotedo. At my front was an 06 corolla ash in color. Everything happened like a movie as the driver drove inside the Abraham adesanya roundabout decoration where they have a fish statue and hanged. I stopped to find out that, its an uber driver. He's probably sleeping in the car then. The airbag bust, oil sump and bumpers damaged. We helped him to push the car to a safer place before police will mk money outta dat as d car couldn't start again.

Nice and rugged car... I had the 2004 model. But so much wiring problem. And you will hardly get mechanic for VW. You have to go to Etire Ilasa everytime for repairs.

[quwote author=Stealth100 post=65717212]

Nice! Will give it a shot.

I still need a mechanic's perspective. Is the VW Passat cc a reliable brand? I normally don't over flog my car, 45-60k weekly is my usual target. Can the car handle such?

Please, is anyone here know Charles Ijoma. He's a driver on uber/taxify. I Picked him up from Okota to Akoka on taxify. Normally don't accept bank transfers but because he's a driver, decided to allow him. I'm yet to get the money he transferred yesterday and he's not picking up my calls. I give him from now to Monday, then Haba na Ududonka Agulu will profile his case. Here's his number +234 909 543 7020. Tell him if you know him. Thanks.

Honestly the biz is saturated. Really not a good time to invest for intending investors. When last did you see a driver advertising that he needs a car to drive on this thread. Car owners are now begging for drivers.

Until uber/taxify implore means of increasing rider base. Just save your money and don't lose that job.

I own my business too and I am an associate to many other business apart from Uber. Also married to the most gorgeous woman on the entire earth. He should do same. I hate to be a sorry ass that's why. Not funny to me when people cry wolf and seek consolation. He should be a man and not bring his sorry ass here. If everyone should use this forum to seek pity I bet many would. That guy didn't inform me before venturing into uber or published his intentions here. He doesn't deserve my pity. Such is life. I have had worst misfortune. Did I seek any pity here? Abeg... Drive your car yourself.

Now, all the i wanna be fleet managers are numerous to mention. But my advise is, drive your cars yourself or employ your family people so you won't cry wolf here, they need the job. I DO NOT SAY SORRY (adiro asi ndo). For future reference.

My brother I understand how you feel, sorry about all this. But I will advise you quit your job and drive your car yourself if it is that important to you. Besides you didn't consult us before venturing into this business. I expect to see scores of weekly incomes here to motivate other driver partners not your sorry ass. Sorry though but some of us quited our jobs to do this. Do same that's my advise otherwise take your sorry ass some where and stop consuming my data.

Please Be careful, don't allow me look back. I try to always ask for solutions and not dwell on problems.

That you called and narrated everything I said doesn't mean we have resolved issues. You should have waited till you actually do something responsible before posting this. Cuz nothing has been done by you since this whole incident. Your first call was over an hour and had no apology not even after all that happened that I had to tell you what you should have done and prevented this whole issue. And after the call you thought over and decide to call back and apologize. And all your suggestions are the same thing the car owners were asking for from the get go and you decided to waste their time and money cuz you had more important "stuffs". Seriously don't let me look back.

As to fault, I'm waiting for you to point out mine. Even if in a private call or face to face or even here. Like someone said "don't hide under the unknown". The call records will be uploaded any way possible if I notice any false accusations.

As per compensation, keep telling yourself whatever you like.. If till this day I still don't know how money was made but I received zero naira when it was due and no amount has been remitted for 2 weeks work. And you never discuss it when we speak. Perhaps you still need to read your own terms and conditions.

My initial silence was out of restraint to allow you redeem yourself but coming here boasting and saying what hasn't happened is just very annoying. You just couldn't exercise control over yourself. Its terrible.

All this janded guys self. Just wondering, if you feel the country was crystal. What are you doing over there serving white men or perhaps selling drugs. Come back to naija then and manage your fleet. Personally i don't take you guys serious. They will be like me and my friend want to bring in 24 cars. My brother keep your cars to yourself. That we drive our cars doesn't mean we can't buy more. We have many source of income. Trust me most of us here are bigger than you and your partners. Continue selling drugs until you hammer, then you can bring in 50 cars alone. We don't need your cars fool.

AngelicBeing:
You fail to see the nitty-gritty in my message, this is why the country is sick, instead of you to condem how a car owner is treated here, you are sounding funny, continue it will catch up with you soon, I will not dignify you with another response angry

Chief, please go to Dubai and leave our naija for us.

AngelicBeing:
If you scroll through my profile, you will see were l said l will engage both of them, l and my business partner planned to float a minimum of 24 vehicles in Nigeria via Uber, my partner is my class mate during my studentship in North America years ago, I convinced him that the business is profitable, I even suggested Peugeot 407 to him based on what the 2 guy's in question have been saying here, both of us were supposed to contribute 50percent each for the entire business, he is not a Nigerian but I have done several businesses with him, just imagine the drama l would have faced if I had given vehicles to this guy's, I also want to thank my lawyer on here, he advised me to wait and see how it goes on here, l wanted him to post now but he said he prefers to remain anonymous, he is on this thread, I am happy to read everything on here, l have zeroed my mind for Dubai for the Uber business, there are few sincere guys here but what happened here is an eye opener, I even told my partner to read this thread and we have both concluded to rather invest in Dubai were they have better regulations, good roads and more government supervision than what is obtained in Nigeria, once we start in Dubai, l will post everything here, l am disappointed at the way both of them are responding here, l feel for the car owner sad

In every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Brothers pls assist a brother here. My drivers license expired on Monday and I was able to renew it on same day. Though I was given a temporary one same day because I paid for express service. I have been trying to upload since Monday but uber kept rejecting it that it doesn't match the information on the previous expired one.
So I went to uber office today. The lady took picture of both licence and told me that I will be activated today. Yet unable to go online.

Has anyone experienced this? Kindly advice. Thank you.

Just wondering if any one had ever thought about this.. Let's say uber have about 1,000 drivers who earns 75,000 naira weekly. This means that uber is getting 25,000 naira weekly right?

Now lemme shock you. Uber bonus of 25,000 weekly x1000=25,000,000.

Honestly saying, uber loves us like no other.
