And if God thinks your girlfriend's piercing is immodest, I wonder why He would use them as a way of beautifying Jerusalem in the analogy of Isreal as God's wife in Ezekiel 16:

God loves jewellry. But let us keep avoiding this chapter of the Bible, because everything that beautifies a woman must be bad. cool My wife has a nose piercing. She wears waist beads sometimes as well. I bought some of these jewellry for her. God likes beautiful things. And I do too..

Ezekiel 16:
" 8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

9 “‘I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you. 10 I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments. 11 I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck, 12 and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head. 13 So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen. 14 And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord...."

Pls don't marry her. She deserves a man who will judge her by the content of her character and not by her looks or piercings.

She needs a man who is as intelligent as her, with an equally tech brain, a man who does not require advice from diaper wearing boys on Nairaland who have no idea what marriage is about and think they can tell a good wife from how many ear-rings she wears.

Guy run from that babe abeg. Her mind is on another level. Go and find a girl who looks like your own idea of a wife material. Because appearance is everything! Even though Zuckerberg & Dorsey in their basic Mark & Spencer jeans & T-Shirt are multi-billionaires & you can never tell by the way they dress.

And keep digesting all the advice from all these single boys who are yet to see life beyond exam hall & nyash...enh. May their infantile wisdom continue to guide you in your search for "wife material".

Good luck! wink

Religion / Re: It Is Only One Sin That Sends People To Hell Fire by eccentric(m): 5:06am On Dec 03, 2018
Sorry brother but James 2:14-26 has destroyed your entire epistle. Even Christ and His apostles warned of folks like you who will go about spreading the lie that you can sin with impunity and enter the kingdom of heaven. Oga, read and be enlightened.

Ps: We Christians should have a full knowledge of the word of God for it is our armour against devil inspired teachings planted in the mind of ignorance. If anyone says whatever is contrary to the Lord you and quotes incomplete scripture as their proof, their are countless Bible versions online that you can use to table out the the truth. You don't answer the devil with mere words as they are empty before him you rebuke with prayer and answer with scripture. May the good Lord Jehovah bless us all!

Read and be enlightened!!!!!

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. James 2:14-26

14 "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without [a]your works, and I will show you my faith by [b]my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made [d]perfect?

23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was [e]accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.

24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Certainly not a wild cat. The owners must be worried about their missing pet. Ingrate! I hope Lassa fever visits you and your dirty chickens!

slightlyMad:

if you visit there and somehow, you are able to get the job done in less than 30 mins, then she isn't a virgin

you will unlikely be able to penetrate on day 1, trust me, it is war.
you need a jar of oil and you need to be generous with the oil plus lots of "calm down honey, i am already in" even though you are far from getting in.
when finally in, she has to hold her breath and bulge her eyes like she is in labour

anything from this, she is a secondary virgin

Nah, it all depends on your tact. With lots of lubrication, make sure she's thoroughly wet before entrance, that means loads of pre-intimacy. If she's soaked from all the kissing and licking the entrance gets easier and you won't need baby oil sef. Her natural juices are important for that ultimate feel of lesser pain and perhaps some pleasure. You probably entered dry that 's why she suffered so much. One thing is sure. You will meet a barrier and you will have to hurt her so bad till she literally sheds tears before it can break. But with plenty wetness, the breakage period will be less traumatizing. And yes she will bleed. Every virgin bleeds, heavy or little depending on how easy or hard you entered the place and how wet she was before u entered. Remember you don't ba.ng a virgin, u make love to a virgin. Being romantic right thru it all will make it more memorable for her. Good luck dude!

Let me add this tho, the late gospel singer Keffee may God rest her soul was a virgin when she married her husband. Yet her marriage ended in scandalous circumstances. With she and her hubby pointing accusing fingers of infidelity on each other. She specifically complained that sex was not enjoyable, painful with her husband. Dude blamed it on her being, "circumcised ", she called him abusive and a cheat. They both separated. She married another . Her ex married another even before she did. She was very happy with her new man and she openly confessed that she never knew that marriage and sex could be so tasty. Well? Sho some of yall know her story. It was a huge one in the news. She's passed on. But what am I trying to prove here? smiley The smart ones in this thread will understand. cool

I know a couple of chicks who married as virgins who are currently cheating on their husband's right now. Their reasons ; marital unhappiness! One complained that hubby ain't romantic, works all the time and screams at her all the time. The other said the sex was horrible and that her husband will come on 2 minute, sleep off and leave her unable to process why she couldn't enjoy it. Dude began cheating and when she saw texts from his wenches, he blamed it on her being dull in bed. She didn't know what good sex was until the guy at her office funked her and gave her pleasures incredible. Welcome Op to the world of virgins turned cheats! I hope you have the common sense to see why a guy like me would care less about a woman's sexual sanctity. All I need is my sanity. Virginity doesn't guarantee fidelity coz that's got more to do with principle. A woman has got to keep the V for the right reasons if she is to stay faithful after marriage. If she's keeping it cos of religious principles who knows she just might endure your lackluster forkery of 2 mins no orgasm and not cheat on yo a.ss after the ring. Maybe use self service to forget the hot guy in the office but still that ain't no guarantee. I've seen virgin wives whoring after marriage trying to catch up with lost fun. I swear dude. Get your sex game hot, be loving and keep your virgin bride satisfied after, don't make her regret giving you the v coz dude, if you mess with a good girl so bad and she cracks she may well become the woman she never planned to be. Virgin girls are humans too and they can still crack under the whip of temptation after marriage. It is no guarantee of good behaviour or fidelity. But I hope you mature before you marry so you don't make that mistake of picking hymen over love and compatibility. Wake up dude! Wake up fast.

Do you remember the Nnena who was featured in Mode 9's video Cry like some years bk. Ever wondered where she has been all this while. And so I tracked down my celeb crush and they tell me she's married now. sad I wanted to do many things with that girl, but that's another story. She's married now with two kids. She even did this track with 9ice. Great stuff. Too bad I only get to her her stuff online . Finally found her on face book, twitter. This is her most recent photo. It was from this interview of hers with the Tribune that I found that she is no longer available for me to date. Oh my dreams....

Nnenna Ezeakunne O’Dele, known as Nnena Omali, is a fast rising artiste. The Anambra State-born is a graduate of Estate Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. In this interview with SEYI SOKOYA, the mother of twins speaks on her rising career and her take on an ideal woman. Excerpts:

When did you discover your love for music?
I was 10 years old when I wrote my first song. I had two friends who wrote songs too. Bonded by our love for music, we dreamt of taking our talents to the stage. So we formed this trio group called The Glory Singers. We performed at school gatherings and children’s parties, singing our own compositions. For our age, we were quite good vocally. We knew our altos and sopranos and we often talked about becoming ‘big performers’ someday. But then, it was just another one of those childish fantasies. I didn’t even take it seriously until years down the line that I realised that music was my calling.

What kind of music do you do?
Afro fusion, jazz and acoustic soul.

What are the challenges?
Tough I must say. Getting your music out there is a big thing, irrespective of what you think you may have in terms of quality, especially as an independent act. A particular on-air-personality told me a few years back that “it’s a dog-eat-dog world out there”. This “hype market” is where the highest bidder gets the prize.

You are a graduate. Did you take to music because of unemployment?
I turned down job offers in the past, simply because they did not afford me the space to practise my craft. I have made long-term sacrifices for music, so it’s a capital No. This is a thing of passion to me. I love doing music. The earnings are just icing on the cake. It does not matter how much more I can make in the job market. Fact is, no white-collar job can give me the satisfaction I get from being a performer.

How have you been able to combine the home front with music?
We women are known for our unique multi-tasking abilities, but it is not as easy as it looks. With the help and support of my husband and relations, I have been able to juggle with some ease.

Did your husband at any point raise an eyebrow?
My hubby loves my career even more than I do. I don’t think such a day will come that he will want me to quit. To tell you the truth, I made absolutely sure that I married a man who is interested in entertainment as I am. As for my family, it’s amazing really. My family has been endorsing my career choice right from when I recorded my first single. I was 19 or so when I entered the studio for the first time and my mother paid for all the sessions.

How do you plan to make your breakthrough into the entertainment industry?
Well, with hard work and a truly unique approach to this creative art; concerted efforts on promotion, and with a bit of luck. Or should I say divine favour?

What is your assessment of the entertainment industry?

There has been some considerable growth, no doubt. But there is still a lot to be done. We have talents and visuals that are world-class. There is the need for the system to be well ordered and organised. Issues such as copyright management, piracy, distribution and corruption are impediments. Asides all these challenges, there is yet another grand problem which is content and artistic quality. True musicianship is dying. My fear is that many don’t know, or care to know, or appreciate the roots of music, I mean real music. It’s nice to have this revolution, as it were, but care needs to be taken. If every song is tending towards free-styling composition and every song sounds the same, then there’s something wrong somewhere. I am optimistic, however, that with time, it will regularise itself and every class of music will have its place.

Do you still have male admirers despite being a mother of two?

It is a funny that being a married mother of two does not deter men from making passes at you. It is indeed troubling. But when you cannot stop your male fans from falling in love with you, and fantasizing their lives away over you, you might as well handle them with diplomacy. Of course where civility fails, being aggressively firm usually gets the message across.

What is your definition of an ideal woman?
There is no ideal woman. She doesn’t exist. But we can only try to be the best we can and be ‘ideal’ in God’s eye. However, there are qualities every woman should have in order to stand tall in feminine grace. Qualities that will make her irresistible and able to chart her course in life. These qualities are: intelligence, boldness, godliness, humility, hard work, ambition, self discipline, poise, charm, strength of character, and of course, catering excellence. A woman should also know how to take good care of her mind and body. A woman should have a thirst for the knowledge of God.

Music/Radio / The Music Business Is A Gamble But It's Not A Game - Nnena Omali To Naija Deevas by eccentric(m): 9:17am On Dec 07, 2013
Naija D.E.E.V.A.S had the chance to interview this embodiment of talents and true NAIJA DEEVA, we had a LONG chat with her and the afro fusion artiste and mother of two was patient to answer our questions. Read interview below:

Most people will remember you as Nnena, that soothing voice that featured on Modenine's single "CRY", can you tell us more about who Nnena Omali is?

Nnena Omali is a woman, a musician, a writer of songs and stories, a connoisseur of poetry. A lover of nature, positivity and culture. A person who believes in God, love, truth and justice. She came into this world for a purpose. And God is helping her fulfill it.

How was growing up for you?

It was pretty much easy at first. Then my Dad passed away when I was ten and things got rather tough for my mom, who had to work really hard to carry the family. But my childhood was filled with love. Yes, there were financial glitches at a certain time but there was unconditional love between and that helped us all pull through. My mother was amazing. Still is. She juggled a nursing career with 5 vibrant kids and her hard work paid off eventually. I was the baby of the house. The mummy's little girl. My brothers were very protective of me and my sister. Yeah, growing up was interesting. I still miss all the dancing in the rain with my friends, the games, the fewer responsibilities of being a child. But then one day, you grow up, become an adult then life starts getting really serious.

So, on your music, how long before the feature on "Cry" have you being into music?

Before the song CRY with Modenine, I'd already been in the music business professionally for over 3 yrs. I even had a music video and a couple of singles on air. But I still wasn't that popular or a known face. Then I did the song with Mode, and for the first time everybody noticed me as artiste because of the huge success the song became.

So, can you say your music will find expression when good value is mentioned in Music?

My music will definitely by God's grace find expression in that regard. For in as much as I always endeavor to distinguish my sound and style from others, I have a growing fan base of earnest loving people who believe in me and view my work as something of good value.

Talking about your style, it is distinct, and looking at the Nigeria Music Market today, it is more of commercial music now, how much do you think Afro Fusion can stand in the industry?

My Afro fusion tries to blend creativity with commercialism. It takes from what we have in our culture and adds it to the contemporary. And culture is commercial. We love our own and we buy what we understand. Asides from that it isn't just about a certain tempo. Both fast, slow or mid tempo rhythms can be generated via every genre. So my style isn't relegated to a particular tempo. Afro fusion can be fast, slow. It can be anything. But the sound and style will still be me. And that makes it versatile and attractive to a market hungry for such.

In other words you think Nigeria has this HUNGRY Market?

{Nnena Laughs}

Yes, our market is ever hungry yet so insatiable. Nigeria loves music especially when it follows a certain tempo or lyrical direction. But it even loves it more when it is well hyped. Hence, the bandwagon effect of "loving it because it is everywhere" syndrome

Also a market filled with hungry upcoming artists who will sing anything to make it big, this same market is putting food on a lot of tables while rendering some bankrupt. True, it is indeed HUNGRY. And only direction and order can bring the ultimate satisfaction to most parties involved.

You think there are any measures that can be taken against this? As at now, new artistes pop up everyday

Yeah. First of all, music isn't for everyone. Don't do it if you have neither the talent nor the drive for it. Constant hopping in the bandwagon by excited desperadoes is one of the reasons the market is getting so congested. Furthermore, don't ever make the mistake of believing you can succeed in the music business just because you have a trailer load of cash to spend. Trust me on this; you just might end up frustrated. Opening a record label overnight when you really don't understand the intricacies of how the system works may well leave you bankrupt. The music business is a serious gamble, but it's not a game. You need to study the market properly, source well grounded hands and you need to always think properly before making decisions like shooting videos and releasing singles. As investing on a wrong track or packaging an artiste inappropriately can have drastic consequences on your bank account. Also, talented upcoming artists should be encouraged. And the attitude of rewarding mediocrity because of financial kick backs whilst discouraging legendary efforts must be dropped or else in the next few years there would be a dearth in musicianship in this country. If these measures or more aren't considered by artistes and stakeholders of the business, the consequences may be dire.

Your single- "Oluchi" dropped closely after "cry" and you also have a few singles out, what have you being up to lately?

Oh well, I've been working. I released KULIE DIDE ft 9ice recently and the song has been getting massive reviews, pleasant ones. The love has been awesome. I have collaborated with some artistes. Currently planning to drop a new song and shoot a video as well.

You seem to be the "Low Key" kind of person, you are rarely seen on the carpets, at events and all, is this like a strategy, your kind of person or you are often busy?

Mmmmmh... I'm a bit of an introvert. I don't go out much. I only attend functions where I am specifically invited. {Smiles} All that red carpet glitz can get a bit cloying sometimes.

Have you had any embarrassing moments so far in your career?

Well, don't we all,? I once performed on a stage and it was so drastic, I got hisses from the crowd instead of applause. I once danced so vigorously on a stage that my turban shaped hair do tumbled down in a tangled mess. And I once had to perform acappella because the soundtrack couldn't play. My sandals cut on stage once, and then I kicked them off and continued the performance barefooted. One thing I've learned from embarrassments; is to avoid them next time and do it better second time around. But some of these embarrassments didn't affect the performances because I acted as though they were all part of my act when deep down I wanted to just sink into ground and sob. Until, you show the crowd that you're embarrassed, truth is they may never know. So some of these moments are either secret embarrassments or public embarrassments.

In course of your career, what are the remarkable achievements so far?

I've made some milestones over the years. The most important being the ability to win the love of my fans and they growing on daily basis. But I still have a long way to go. And I know that with God on my side I will get far in a shorter time. I believe He (Jehovah) can change in 5 minutes what we could never have achieved in 5 years.

Are you still with Question Mark records?

No. My deal with them has long since expired. We parted ways since 2008.

So you run your own label now?

Not really. But I'm working with a management on a temporary basis for now.

How often do you perform at shows?

As often as I am required to, by recommendation and invitation.

You are married now and have kids,,, (congratulations),,,,, how do you balance the music career and parenting?

It's not that difficult when you have a caring husband who supports your effort. I thank my God everyday for my husband's love and the fact that he has never let me stand alone. Parenting is a joint thing really. As a family we support each other not only in our careers but in raising our kids as well.  My relatives have been helpful too. It's been a wonderful journey.

Who is this loving and lucky man?

On stage, I am known as Nnena Omali. However, off the spotlight, my full names are Nnenna Ezeakunne O’ Dele. I’m from the eastern part of Nigeria; graduated from the University of Nigeria Enugu campus at the department of Estate management and had also attended the University of Nigeria Secondary school respectively. I am the last child in a family of five. Raised in Coal City; Enugu, by my widowed mother as I had lost my father when I was twelve. I always thank God for aiding us through the rough times as a family. They say ‘Tough times don’t last but tough people do’. Well yeah, I’m still here!

My growing years were basically spent in Coal City albeit I currently reside in Lagos now. Many times I do miss the allure of nature in the countryside. Lagos is a hub of commerce, nightlife and noise but it is also a central point of entertainment in Nigeria and the music business. And music is what I do. Therefore, I am drawn to live here by virtue of necessity. My basic style is Afro Fusion. In my works I try as much as possible to showcase flavorings of ethnicity on the contemporary. Be it jazz, soul, pop or reggae they sometimes find their way into my artistry in a defined African unit creating this distinct style that I’m comfy with. They become me. Over time, I’ve managed to use my versatility to my advantage without seeming like a directionless doppelganger. We have a rich, diverse culture in Africa. The land is indeed my musical playground.

I’ve been in the music business for about a decade now, not counting the years I spent in my childhood dreaming, writing…It all began with stories scribbled on sheets, then rhymes and poetry. Thereafter, the songs came.

I was ten when I wrote down my first ever melody. Joined a singing group but never took it seriously. Who wants to be on teevee anyway, jeez my Dad would freak out! I remember telling my fellow singing buddies. Indeed my love for music was strong but I wasn’t yet ready. I was a shy little girl, scared of the big picture but during my teen years I found myself writing more and more songs. The passion grew stronger and the dreams became divine. It was no longer me by then but God positioning me towards my destiny. The more I fought it off out of the basic fear of attention and publicity the more my world gravitated towards that direction. God showed me that this was His plan and that I couldn’t run from it. When I sang, people would query; And when are you recording an album young lady?

I was practically spirited into the studio in 2002 by concerned neighbors who had a sit down with my family on what they intended to do about my musical talent and how they could be of assistance. That was the year I recorded my first work. The singles “So” And “Missing” received quite some airplay in the eastern part of Nigeria.

Udo, my brother, was my manager for a while and later handed me over to Mr. Gbenga Sokefun’s SpiritRose A&R management . The latter was famous for the role he played in the success of the then UK based Nigerian gospel group called KUSH. Through his affiliation with Questionmark Records – where he later became vice president, Business Strategy – I got a deal in 2004. I parted ways with the company in some years later.

Questionmark was the label that originally brought Asa, the Nigerian-French international to the world as well as Africa’s most respected lyricist, Modenine. They gave me my first major exposure via “Cry”, a feature spot on Modenine’s hit.

The tide of time and circumstance can toss one from island to ocean but with every surge of its wave we gain knowledge and truth. It is my aim to be a voice of positivity, guiding our hearts to love, light and God. As the Almighty continues to churn the inspiration, I intend to remain His willing instrument. The track “Oluchi” for instance had struck me as ordinary when I wrote it but then it wasn’t. People heard it, saw the video and said they were moved beyond words. The lyrics are deep and powerful, they said. The response confirmed my latent inkling that God brought that song for someone. On the day I’d penned down “Oluchi”, I simply couldn’t shake off this image of a woman or girl who had been through so much physical or sexual abuse , attempting suicide because she could no longer with it or herself. “Oluchi” was a song telling her that she had 101 reasons to live. Rape and battery has become a grave societal problem and it’s painful that the perpetrators seldom see what it does to their victims. It is my hope that the message of that song got to the person it was for.

In my musical journey, I’ve battled with unforeseen delay, disappointments, unmet expectations and yes, I’ve seen hardship. But in all these things I’ve come out stronger and intrepid. In a sort of funny peculiarity, even peril provided leeway for diverse messages in my writings. For instance, my latest release, “Palava” was a song written in righteous anger and it’s getting splendiferous love.

I blow a kiss to heaven for having a family so supportive, a husband so loving and fans who believe in me. All these years they’ve stood with me in unison making me lightheaded in appreciation. They are my beacons of strength and hope.

Over time I’ve accomplished inner growth. I still pen down some prose and poetry. I was a columnist for Mode Men magazine at some point. I do intend publishing my books and poems sometime in the near future by God’s grace. At the last count, I have nine unpublished novels. Own a magazine one day? I’m working towards that.

At the moment, I’m facing the music. However, I’m also a producer and budding composer. I’m working with a production company, Signaenuke Media on contract basis in my capacity as a writer and co-composer and also doing stuff in their business development department.
My accomplishments in entertainment?

Some would expect that I begin to enumerate awards won or nominations et al., I’d rather state matter-of-factly that my greatest accomplishment is earning from a career I enjoy. I derive my ultimate work satisfaction from performing. Music makes me happy and sharing it with others makes me even happier. Platinum sales, award plaques are no motivation for me, at least not anymore. They are good though. But they aren’t the rationale for my music. If I can hold down a following with my message and inspire them, that’s more than enough for me.

Life along this path has taught me patience, steadfastness and doggedness. Rushing will get you nowhere when God wants you to sloooow down. Family comes first. My household is my world. I don’t joke with my kids.

For anyone with the intention of becoming a musician, I have this question for you? Is it for love or money? If for love, go for it. For the money, forget about it. There are other lucrative ventures. Music is not an easy profession. Look beyond the glitz and glamour and you’ll see hard work and longsuffering before breakthrough. Your talent may be your qualification but only true love for the art will paddle you across seasons of void to eras of stardom.

@newmi: typical of a CE member, always tryin 2 dodge pain at all costs. If Christ had been of ur doctrine he'd not hav bn able 2 go to de cross. Instead, he wld have begun petitioning the Father for His 'Abrahamic blessings' on earth. The truth abt the cross brought Jesus a lot of physical & mental agony (hurt) but it gave him & all freedom in de long run. Inorder, to enjoy de bliss of freedom you must be ready to bear its cost. good luck 2 y'all wit ur fantastic, unchristlike teachings. peace out!
